      @@Dumpster_Dave You need to attach the chain the closest possible to the pivot point from the bucket,under it.
      Chaining from the top of the bucket at the higher spot is adding a lot of length so reducing a lot of weight capacity,specialy with fully tilted buket.

      @cyumadbrosummit3534 Рік тому +2

      That container is close to 9,000 pounds a loader that size that takes a 72-80 inch bucket could never see that much weight in soil or rock. Containers are not light I was surprised it hoisted it.

    • @michaelovitch
      @michaelovitch Рік тому +1

      @@cyumadbrosummit3534 The break out force on this machine is around 5 tons, the container is 8690lbs (3.9 tons)
      The machine could have lifted on side (around half the container weight) way easier if the chain was closer to the bucket pin,under it.
      You generally install lifting hooks at the base of the bucket close to the pin for this reason (max lift capacity here.)

    I used to trust string levels but then discovered they are worthless. You are brave to do the commercial property venture. The County can be so difficult. Zoning, road access and culverts, storm water runoff, set backs, etc. The big boys can fund the council's pet projects and grease the process. That is hard for a guy starting out. Good luck.

    Dave, Curious to know, would one of those containers run on one of your roll off trucks? using a chain as the loop to the hook on the truck? I see you lifted one, but why not transport one on the truck? Length being the issue?

    I was suprised you spent that amount of money doing the surface. You have the time where you could have cleared the dirt off yoruself right and saved a bit and then hauled the rock in yourself a lot slower. Sure this did it faster but at 51,000 dollars after tax damn. AND you missed out on the opportunity of making a lot of videos of watching you do it in the process. Wonder what Daves reasons were? I sorta can speculate on them and the only justification is that he is so busy making more money that this was feasable to do like this??? The value in that dirt was a lot to in these times
