State Governors are not babies, they should be laws in place to checkmate thier abouse of State police. Currently the Nigerian people asking for State , Local & Community policing to Secure Nigerians 🇳🇬 Life & Property…Currently, Nigeria has a Major INSECURITY Problem. Kidnapping & Boko Haram is a BiG PROBLEM in Nigeria

How can he use the Bello attempted arrest as justification against state police? Didn’t the scenario happen with the current “federal” police? Federal police enforce federal laws, state police enforce state laws. Fear fear is keeping the country stagnant. Sincerity in porpoise will allow us find solutions to problems.

No police officer will ever agreed for state Police because they're threatened. Media should stop asking them the way forward. National Assembly should put laws in place to support state Police

I think these people still expect the current NPF will exist alongside state police. NPF will not be running around with state police, federal police will be much smaller. Infact, turnover current police infrastructure in states over to the states. Some countries have even university campus police and this one is talking about stomach infrastructure.

If an incumbent governor used his immunity to protect his Boss what about if he has got the power to control his state police? He would have used the power of police to protect his Boss from arrest. The situation would have been the state Police vs the Federal agencies. Therefore, state police is not the best option of security in Nigeria.
    God bless Nigeria!!!!!

The question is why state police? what is hindering the federal police from doing the job?, is it that more recruitment should be done to meet the united nation ratio?. I will suggest state vigilante to work hand in hand with the police instead of creating state police

Northerners should not be scared, Nigeria belong to all of us. They believe they control power and creating state police system will reduce their national political influence. Much more to say, but, i'm busy.

Listening to this retired AIG is like watching someone existing in the present but living in the past. That people like him reduce the debate about state police to discussing only political issues and governors rather than how law and order can be enhanced by state police presence tells me he isn’t being professional. When he talks about getting the right quality of people and I ask, are these right quality of people found on the moon or they are from the states where state police personnel will be recruited?
Notice how he became defensive about the same points that he earlier raised to doubt state police.
