Keep in mind whenever you're criticizing the "weak" characters that when Eren was so recklessly angry and charged in solo a few episodes ago, **HE** essentially got his ENTIRE SQUAD KILLED by forcing them to chase deep into enemy territory with him unplanned! That's part of what makes Marco's comment to Jean about the advantage of him "knowing his weakness" so important, because suicidal courage will not just get you killed but ALL YOUR FRIENDS too. They all need to find balance if they want to (have a small chance to) survive.
Give Armin his flowers. He's the only one who realized they could use the Titan, conjured the assault to resupply, and when Mikasa's plan is to kill everyone he rightfully thinks it out and says "Then what, idiot?".
Trash Sasha all you want, Armin is doing what he can. If you're going to hold a grudge against ANY person doing nothing in the middle of being traumatized, then you're just an asshole.
You should give armin and sasha some slack, maybe you don't realize that this is the first time most of them've seen a titan, by this time they've seen their friends died, so they are in shock, they don't have a commander, and acting on the spot.
And they're just a freakin 15 years old kids
I know but i cant help and get mad in the moment for them either making silly decisions or being in the wrong place at the wrong time. And not only not helping anyone in the fighting aspect, but actually being liabilities - Eoghan
@@NicAndEoghanhaha that's normal coz that's what the author wanted you to feel, Armin has been portrayed as a smart guy so he thinks a lot, sees the worse scenarios so he worries too much and it looks annoying coz he's a soldier.

It's a bit frustrating watching the red shirt guy (sorry I don't know name of each of you yet 😅) never ever automatically put himself in their shoes, not even a bit, not even on a single character, he just blatantly stick with the 'perfect story with perfect protagonists who will beat tf out of the antagonists with no fear' expectation (maybe). Let me tell you, the most impressive of this show is how it make us think of the reality, hars reality, make us think how if this all happened in real life, that's the art of this show, ofcourse it's normal to get annoyed by weak characters sometimes, but that's literally what amaze a lot of people who watch this show, it's how real this show feels, for most of time atleast. Despite the fiction like human fighting titan and suddenly Eren becoming a titan, that might makes you questioning where tf this show will be going to??? 😅, but, this show still really shows us HUMAN, all the characters you see here are human we can literally see in real life, even in ourselves, real human with fear, guilt, ego, and all, that's one of the biggest reason of why many people think this show is a masterpiece
But anyways, still enjoying the overall reaction, that's the reality afterall, it's nice seeing different people see things in different ways 😁
He wants Marvel Superheroes stuff. But this is their first Seinen anime? (the other one they watched is One Punch Man, which is Shounen, so, yeah, I guess it's a leap from PG to Mature rating. 😅)
Based on the reaction I've seen so far, 8/10 guy on the right will probably hate this show as it progresses...🤣

Dude not everyone can be strong like mikasa. Every character has their own flaws and strengths as well. You will learn more in the course of the series.
you even snap at Armin when he is totally right 😅, he got a point tho. You fight those military police on the spot, then what? They have more people than 3 don't you see? if you fight them, it's either these 3 got shot by the cannon immediately, or if you somehow manage to take those military police down, many more people would be scared of you, moreover the civillians as the news would get spread, then what? Is'nt Eren want to avenge his mom by slaughter all the titans so bad? Even a very emotional character as we've seen in Eren so far, can control himself this time not to snap on those military police, you can tell he knows very well the risk. And he is not that dumb to think he can reach his goal by himself too, even with the power of titan he just got, that's why he did what he does on the next episode. See you on the next episode guys 🙌
I think red shirt guy is forgetting that the characters are 15 and this is most of their first times actually seeing a titan so of course they're shitting themselves. The only reason Eren was so brave was because he's a hothead but also because its not the first time he's seen a titan

This show is going to destroy "red shirt" (Eoghan?) with FRUSTRATION until the end while killing me 😭I think it's too emotionally realistic for him... But that's the beauty of Hajime Isayama's story; overall, it's about humanity, it's not only about fighting monsters and save the world if you just let go of the action-packed aspect of it. For at that point, the viewers think they know the plot, but they don't 🥲

Anyways, different translation might can be confusing sometimes, so I'll just let you know here, it's easier to use another translation of the position in their millitary than this one who translate Levi position as 'corporal'. Erwin is the commander of the survey corps fraction (the branch of military who go outside the walls), the Levi guy is a Squad Captain/leader, elite squad, the crazy glasses girl also is a Squad Captain, so there are a lot other squads too in this Survey Corps, and they are all under Erwin

I personally get the impression he's more decent and intelligent than that, he just has an equal amount of testosterone as brains, which is a good thing, when properly harnessed, but he seems principled so my money is on him not going the route you predicted.

I think your previous experience with One Punch Man is tainting your view of this anime, by expecting super humans everywhere. OPM is a parody of the super hero genre, whilst AoT has some of the realest human characters ever portrayed in media. Do you expect every single person you come across to be super strong, cutthroat and able to handle anything? Of course not. So don't expect that in AoT.

The weak people in this show are also going to the front line, as the death rate is high and there are not enough fighters. And it will not work to sit and make plans remotely, since there are situations where you need to make a decision "here and now" and there are no phones for communication.
