01 Memoriapolis First Look

Memoriapolis is a new city builder that starts in ancient times with you building a camp, then progressing through to modern times. At the moment the game is in Early Access so it goes through to the Age of Enlightenment and some features aren't implemented yet, but it plays well, so let's have a look!

ABOUT ALPHATUCANA LETSPLAY
This is my Gameplay Let's Play First Look channel. My play style generally is 'relaxed.' I am not interested in showing how brilliant I am at a game, but more in going slowly enough that a beginner can get a good idea of what it will be like to start playing the game. Many of the first few episodes of games will be, in effect, 'beginners guides.'
I suppose I may do some vlogging too, but only on this topic and whatever may turn out to be closely related to it.

If you are more into sightseeing in the form of relaxed strolls around various places where I happen to be, or vlogging or 'waking up' from our matrix-induced slumber, and about leaving the world a better place than we found it, then my other channel, / alphatucana may be for you.
POSTING SCHEDULE
I'm planning to post a few videos every week but the schedule is flexible depending on my work, life, the Universe and everything... At the moment it's likely to be one video on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at around 1600 hours UK time, mid-morning US time... roughly.
As many people watch the first couple of episodes and very few the later ones, I will sometimes cut a series short to move on to something more popular. Also of course I may get tired of this game or that and just quit it too: if it just doesn't grab me, I don't think I'll be faking it! My intention is to show complete games in a series of episodes, but some games are huuuuuge and this may not be feasible. Even a short game can be a good 20 hours plus, after all. I am still working out whether to have episodes of 30 minutes, 1 hour, or just half a day or whatever I feel like playing, so I'll be experimenting with the format too. Let me know what you prefer in the comments.
