    GJ, i'm enjoying the build. One tip for the BG build, Sharpshooter talent is only 4% crit damage, not chance, so it's a bit lackluster. I'd take out those two points, and then put one point into Heavy/Light Ammo and one point into Serpentstalker's Trickery. This works with Hydra's Bite, so your Aimed Shot will shoot 3 serpent stings out every time.

      @Reign28
      Nice to hear that you are enjoying the build😀
      4% extra critical strike damage might not seem like a lot, but I do feel that I want to take it, to unlock Salvo for its extra burst opportunity.
      I have to admit, that before this build I was also running with Serpentstalker's Trickery, and it is for sure nice that it auto-casts a serpent sting whenever you cast an aimed shot, what I do feel is that with this build, I do more damage if I manually press the button every once in a while to spread the dots. And it is hard for me to get used 2 doing it manually for sure😂
      That point I saved for not running with Serpentstalker's Trickery I can then spend for something that I feel does more damage. But anyway, this video was indeed mentioned to form a base for Hunter players to thinker around with, and it's so good to hear that you're having fun😀
      And as always...Happy Hunting!😉

      Hahaha, I've tried so hard to hide my accent😂
      But I think that I fall for some "Dutch" mistakes when speaking English😜
      I hope that my voice and accent are still 'ok' to listen to 😝
      For Dutch people it is pretty hard to get completely rid of the accent, I've spoken English myself for over 16 years now, and for my profession, I talk with a lot of American clients, this is the first comment that I've received, that makes it so clear that I still have a lot of work to do regarding my accent😂
      Anyway, good to hear that you like the video, and I hope this can be a solid guide for people who want to get better at playing the MM Hunter.
      And as always...Happy Hunting!😉

    Great guide! I enjoyed your BM guide recently and when I decided to switch to MM, I found this one! 😁I'm really enjoying MM a little more than BM. I do mostly BG's.

      I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed my BM guide and that you're finding the MM guide helpful as well! It's great that you're exploring different specs and finding what suits your playstyle. MM can offer a different experience with its burst damage and ranged capabilities, especially in BGs where you have more opportunities for strategic positioning. MM is my preferred spec for battlegrounds as well. The burst damage and ranged playstyle truly shine in the chaos of BGs.
      Keep having fun in the battlegrounds, and if you ever have more questions or need further guidance, feel free to reach out. Best of luck on your MM hunter adventures!
      Salute! 🎖️😊

      The good thing with WoW in Dragonflight is, that there are so many good builds that we can try out, I would love to receive your import link for the talents that you run with, so I can check it out.
      I made this guide for fellow Hunters to learn some more about the class, and the spec, so that at the end of the day, we all we even better Hunters!

    Never use lonewolf, only for bgs, in arena thats a nono. always use mortal strike pet.

    • @CommanDirk
      @CommanDirk  Рік тому +1

      @genaro garcia
      You are spot on! In arena fights, it's best to run with a pet. I just found out that in this video I did not make a time stamp, specifically for my arena build that I also talked about in the video😝
      You can find my talents for arenas in the video at 00:33:04 I will update this time stamp in the video description.
      When choosing a pet to be at your side in arena fights, I would also choose one with the mortal wounds effect. I would choose "Cunning" for the pet family and then look for a pet family with the human wounds effect. I like to run with an undead raptor. Beware that when you're fighting against a priest and/or a paladin, it is better to switch out the undead raptor for a normal raptor, because undead pets can still be feared by priests and paladins.
      Below I’ve put a link to a website that is helpful when it comes down to hunter pets, and their special abilities:

      Anyway, thank you for taking the time to leave a reply, and thank you for watching the video. I appreciate it!

      The bow is called " Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury" it's a legendary bow. You can get the bow from defeating Kil'jaeden in the Sunwell Plateau raid (it's a 7% drop chance).
      Happy Hunting!😉

    as a returning player, I can't decide between hunter or rogue. How can i decide? i like the fantasy of having pets and being a marksman, but rogue has always been a class that frustrates me and one that i've been curious about just not as fond of the lore or background.

    • @CommanDirk
      @CommanDirk  Рік тому +2

      @Queeffersthrlnd
      That's an interesting choice that you have. I can tell you out of experience, that playing a rogue as a returning player might be hard. Rogue in general is a class that's hard to learn, to excel in. But once you know how to play as one, you can be that one player that pisses off the whole enemy team.
      When I would have to compare the 2 classes, I have to think about the play style. Hunter is of course more of a caster, keeping your distance from your foes, and is sometimes pretty dependent on your team, because when you get pinned down as a hunter, you die quite quickly.
      As for Rogue, they are all about stalking people and getting right in their faces. Rogues have an amazing CC toolkit, and that's also part of why people hate rogues so much. You can for example annoy a healer by constantly spamming sab on them, and after that one comes off, sab again, and end with a blind, to lock them out of combat for as long as possible. And if they use a trinket to get out of this, then you can open up on them and do a full combo points kidney stun on the healer and pop all of your cooldowns. For sure the enemy healer will be outrageous, and might even leave the game😜
      If you want to start with an easy-to-learn spec, that still does high damage, I would give BM Hunter a try. Their rotation is very simple, and the sustained damage output is high. This spec is at this moment also good for solo shuffle. And BM is unique because it can do its full damage rotation including burst on the move, you don’t have to stand still.
      One thing, if you are still doubting after my reply, I would advise you to just watch some gameplay of UA-camrs that play rogue a lot. Then you get a feeling, of what it might be like, once you mastered that class. I can tell you, a rogue can also be very fun to play, and I'm thinking about lvling one myself 2.
      But beware, that in PVP games, whenever you come out of stealth (because people just hate rogues), you will probably be targeted by many players simultaneously. And rogues also die quickly but also have really good abilities that you can use defensively.
      Hopefully, this was helpful.
      And as always...Happy Hunting!😉
