Coming back to wow after quite a while. last week I used my boost to make a lvl 60 monk planning to make it my main. Then I levelled up my old death knight who was lvl 45 after number squish and decided he'd be my main. Then I found the video saying you could level 0-60 in 3 hours, decided to level a mage using that strat and changed my mind again, deciding I'll be a mage this expac... then I did that a second time and levelled a hunter, who'll be my main. Now I'm watching a video about who I should main in dragonflight.

My friend convinced me to do some heroic random dungeons with him. I have barely been playing an outlaw rogue for a month and am still getting the hang of the rotation but my friend said it would be fine because heroic dungeons aren't important. In the first dungeon I ever did the two of us were paired with three others who were obviously their own group. Throughout the dungeon one of my add-ons would cover my action bar with cool down bars and I had difficulty managing the games targeting system with more targets than I have fought at once before. My friend pointed out several times throughout the dungeon that despite my struggle, I had the highest DPS of the group. However the other three seemed to decide I needed to be punished for daring to be a noob. The healer refused to res me and in the very end, moments before we killed the last boss, these three voted to kick me for "being afk" to prevent me from getting the reward. WoW is a shitty mmo just like any other, it's players take it too seriously, and it's complicated for the sake of it.
I've always wondered why they haven't added another range class if you ever played conquest of azeroth they give plenty of examples of what you could do with a ranged class. Like tinker with guns snipers and rifles with explosives and mechs or witch hunter that's a dual wielding crossbow bolt slinger, hound master or dark ranger, or the ranger which is just a hunter without a pet lol
Survival was my main spec on my hunter after they changed it to melee I just quit playing hunter. Thought that survival was a good in between from beast mastery and marksman also thought it met the magic ranger aspect better. Think they should have gave the melee weapon to beast mastery in order to set it further apart. Since fighting with your pet close range sounds cool.
Is there any way you can give a tutorial on how to set up your ui? It looks really good and gives all the right information. Import strings / addons would be awesome
Yes and no. I've actually just lost my UI and all my backups seem to be outdated or corrupted so I might need to start over. So perhaps I'll now finally make a series on how to set one up
I've been playing WoW since recruit a friend 2008 and I still don't know what class I want to play. Actually that's not true, I've always wanted a gnome shaman.
11:36 min.: Mage Spec Break down: Frost: Great Aoe and simple af the best spec if you new in the Game and wants 2 start as a Mage. Acran: Great for Raiding, Trash in M+ And in PvP Outclass the Frost Mage both outhers because of the Slow. But if you have a thing 4 mana Mangement and wants 2 mostly be Raiding than the Acran mage is our class. (Or you troll and play heal monk lul XD) Fire is the Mage 4 the guys that love roket physics. Love it fulls complex and want 2 have a rotation that be more havy then every thing else. Only cat, dd monk and rogue is maybe more have 2 play.

Looking for the meta will make you burnout faster than the monthly subscription is worth. Never pick a class due to the meta. Pick it, because it suits your style.
Hard to answer. Very subjective and they do completely different things, with one being ranged and one melee. Frost mage is getting a small rework in a couple of weeks time so my advice would be to look a bit deeper into both classes as a whole.

Some of them can be Heal or Tank but you dont wants Monks and DHs 2 be a outher thing then DDs. Heal Monk gets out Performt form EVERY outher Heal Spec. And the Tank Monk and DH be bader then 3 of the outher Options. You want more a B-DK or a Bear or a Paly. So in our Raid Play we with Paly and DK as Tank, Heals be me as Holy, a Evo and a Heal Paly and Sometimes have we a Sharmane or Druid. But the 4 core Heals be this 3 Classes by us. So no place 4 a Warri Tank or a Monk Heal or a DH Tank. This is why this classes be MUCH better as DDs. And this is why you mostly NOT wants a Hunter 2 be Meele. The Meele Slots be by a 2 3 9 combo only 3 if you not fully int. So we cant take a 4th Meele. There is no Space 4 a SV Hunter. Because the Meele Slots be needet 4 a outher Class and Hunters can also be great Ranges. Use in best case the BM because of his Mobiltly.

yep, i tried to play into the actual fantasy in this video. but then you need to go and learn the rotation on how it works and stuff to play competitively and i can see how it's less interesting

Shadow also s*cks 2 play after his rework. So i prefer more the holy priest ^^

I play Paly at a higher lvl and have try this Talent still and its fully Crap. In my Eyes the badest Talent that exist form Paly.
Its not good because if you use outher things like Healing stuff you die. As a Bear you CANT leave Bear form because if you do you lose a HUGE amount of Tankyness so you would die then and your Groupe after it also. So leaving Bear form should be NEVER a Option 4 you.

Both of them ONLY gaves you dmg and dont helps you 2 full fill your Role by beening a Huge Sponge of life that be nearly undiealbe and soak Dmg stupid much ^^ This is the job of the Tank. 2 be a sponge that soaks dmg. DONT do Dmg. Its your job 2 take the dmg not 2 make it.

Have wondered that too. Fun fact, WoW has one less ranged spec than when it released almost 20 years ago (survival Hunter became melee).

The point is that picking a class is entirely subjective, depending on what you look for on each level of a class. There is no "best" class.
WoW looks like some generic Korean MMO. With this dragon race and pandas the whole old school Medieval Fantasy vibes is completely lost.

This is the job of the Tank. 2 be a sponge that soaks dmg. DONT do Dmg. Its your job 2 take the dmg not 2 make it.
