I just wanted to mention, your incredibly beautiful WOW I'm serious and your skin is gorgeous!
Thanks, the La roche posay fluid doesnt break me out and has niacinamide as a bonus. Really happy to have found one that works! I'm going to try the cerave one next for the morning as it also has an spf!
Does it make your skin look dry ? I have dry skin not oily and heard it drys matte? The la R p product
The Hada Labo gel only works for me when I use it over wet skin, otherwise it just sits on top of my face. It does a good job in moisturizing on its own as well as when I use with the CeraVe cream over it. Overall, I would recommend it.
I’ve developed fungal acne on my forehead lately. I would love to purchase the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Fluide Moisturizer. Am I able to use it all over my face where I don’t have fungal acne and do you think I will be able to use it when my fungal acne clears? I love this video. It’s been very helpful to me. Thank you 😊
Hey Brooke! I’m looking for an on the go spray moisturizer that’s fungal acne safe. I have to wear a mask all day and it’s been sucking all the moisture out of my face!!! I need something in the middle of the day to just spray and go.
Thanks!
I’m surprised krave beauty oat so simple water cream isn’t on here! The creator of the brand specifically made that moisturizer fungal acne safe for people dealing with it
Is it drying? As some people claimed it kind of dried out their skin?
@@Galsazian its not drying ..i think ppl get confused because it isnt too moisturizing
I just started using cerave healing ointment and I don’t want to over use it how many times a day should I use it?
Hello, are any of these for combination skin?
Heya, which version of cerave moisturising cream do you use? I live in the UK and we only have the cerave dr to very dry cream :(
Just Bought the new summer Fridays mositurizer? Do you recommend???
I was on board until the CeraVe came out. The tub moisturizer broke me out horrendously! I have combo skin
Did you figure out on a different moisturizer? And same the tub moisturizer idk what happened but it made my skin feel so itchy after applying it just felt so heavy
@@Lala-sy2fg Yes! I use a simple moisturizer from The Ordinary; it's a basic everyday moisturizer. My skin really likes it so I been sticking to that. After the CeraVe situation I've been too scared to try out anything else. If your skin feels itchy switch out to something else! Mine started out itchy, then red and irritated, then the worse breakouts of my life after that moisturizer.
@@kimberly2321 Oh word I’ll remember to look into a moisturizer from there in the meantime I’m just waiting on the Hada lobo moisturizer she recommended because im still looking out for just a moisturizer for my skin that’s leaning towards more for sensitive/ combination skin T~T
Same and same have fragrances of it's sniffing moisturizing enough. It's so hard to find something good.
@@kimberly2321 i think its because oc the fatty alcohols. new research has found that they may contribute to the growth of malassezia but it’s still not 100% concrete. have you found a good moisturizer thats FA safe?
avene extreme emulsion is pretty good as well
The Hada Labo gel is amazing!! I have dehydrated and dry skin and it really makes it super plump and smooth! Totally recommend it 🥇
Now that I’m older I definitely consider my skin on the dry side, so I’m glad you said this! I’ve been wanting to try it, but also wonder how long one tub lasts? I’m sure it varies per person, but I tend to use a healthy dose of moisturizer morning & night - so it’s hard to justify purchasing the more expensive options.
Dry + acne prone skin, lol - aren’t we the lucky ones? 😂
@@makerlex5397 Haha I understand, believe me. I'm 31 and even though my skin is good at the moment, if I don't moisturise or hydrate one single day, the next day my face looks like a paper bag. I alternate between this and the Cerave Cream which is a lifesaver. So, one in the morning, the other one at night. And of course, as the rookie I am, the first uses of the Hada Labo I really went for it. Now I realise a little goes a long way if you use it consciously. I have to say it also made makeup look very pretty and smooth. It's worth it, in my opinion!
Maria C so helpful, thank you so much! Cheers to our 30s 🥂 😋
This is great information! With the alternating, does the tub last you more than a month?
@@Brookesbeautybazaar It has for me but I really try to use a little just once a day. Sometimes I only use it four times a week.
I have the pink Garnier skin active gel. It’s a nice gel, but I want something thicker. I have dry skin
Im a Norwegian here. So no American Web sights for me! I also use a dandruff shampo that is helping First. But I think its drying out my Skin arround my nose. It gets so itchy there. I am Dry to Combination Skin, and sensitive AND dehydrated😅 I use a few Ordinary Products. But struggeling to find a Super Hydra ting and moistureizing cream. I have found a suncreen with spf 50 that has olympiske a few ingredients that is totaly malassezia safe!
But do U really think the HA 5% and B5, is okay since it has so many Gatty acids and Ester and glycerine? I have taken it out of my routeen since zezia sayes it has a High consentrations of "bad" Ingredients to the malassezia
Finding any kind of fungal safe moisturiser in Australia is dang near impossible 😩
Hoping to get some Garnier shipped 🤞
Is coconut oil safe? I take a coconut oil supplement, so I want to know if I need to stop that!
garnier moisture rescue was good...for about a month then i realized my skin was getting super dry. second ingredient is alcohol
According to the Folliculitis Scout ingredient search, Curel Intensive Moisture Facial Cream is FA-safe, though I'm seeing in the comments that glycerin (one of its ingredients) is an offender?
I had such high expectations for the cerave tub moisturizer but it just idk what happened but It made my skin feel so itchy/ inflamed? after using it for four days now
Hello i have Fungal acne and it is so hard for me to get a Moisturizer that is fa safe plus its a lil heavy since i have normal skin but sometimes it becomes dry also its winters so need a good moisturizing Moisturizer that is fa safe any recommendations??
Also i 've also been eyeing cerave facial moisturizer am spf 30 one but im not sure about buying since people says it broke them out with fungal acne so any review on cerave am moisturizer spf 30??
I have rosacea- the only moisturizer that doesn't trigger it is Krave Beauty's Oat So Simple. However I have dry skin and it's not moisturizing enough even with squalane oil after and it pills :( I let the brand know. But I use the Cerave Moisturizing Cream at night because it's only mildly irritating for my rosacea, does so the least out of all the FA-safe ones I've tried, and it's calm in the morning. Still on the lookout for something more moisturizing for the day, but I haven't found it yet bc the rosacea complicates things.
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Fluide
is the only one i use since i descovered it. I love it!
same here!!!
What skin type do you have? I have combination and i’m a little worried it may dry out the dry parts of my skin
Well I have an oily skin 😊
@@WithAngelWings I have a normal-to-combination skin and my nose tends to get very dry/flakey. It doesn't happen, when I use this moisturiser.
she is right the cerave am moisturizer or even the pm is a no they both have that cetearyl and it made it worst for me.
how about oily skin ?
The Cera va moisturizing cream contains glycerin, I'm surprised it's on your list
people are talking about how glycerin is an offender but it’s only an offender for some. so don’t be discouraged from trying products with glycerin but truth be told, if you can get a product without glycerin, why not just go for that one.
All product are noncomedogenic?
Hello fab I've been using it and I love it!
Glad to hear that!
what’s your full routine ?
Have you tried avene extreme emulsion
i just purchased the CeraVe moisturizing cream
Glad to hear it! :)
Any updates on this moisturizer?
@@leiafernandez7386 I stopped using it cause it made my face itch. Now i use the aromatica aloe vera gel
@@arithomas752 does the aloe vera stuff work for you?
@@haydenwenner9540 Yes, it does have kind of a weird smell though so just beware of that.
Please do a video focusing on the treatment part 😭 I'm still struggling w fungal acne and I cry 🥺

I really believe in the power of a few good products + a simple approach, but I will definitely address it further in a future video. Thanks!
just use some dandruff shampoo put it on your face for like 10 min then wash it off. It worked for me.
NIZORAL 2% SHAMPOO !!! I SWEAR BY IT !
Stridex pads got rid of my fungal acne in a couple days to a week way faster than nizoral, they're amazing. just make sure to use them only when necessary with moisturizer and sunscreen cuz they are pretty strong and can be drying. I only use them if I breakout, not in my daily or weekly routine.
You should do a video on how to get rid of the red marks left over after skin is cleared. ❤️
Definitely!
@@Brookesbeautybazaar have you tried avene tolerance extreme emulsion?
Could you maybe make a video about chapsticks/lip moisturizers? The cold season is just around the corner here and the chapsticks I use cause me a lot of breakouts around the lips :(
Yes! Good idea! In the meantime, I would highly recommend Vaseline or CeraVe Healing Ointment Here's a link -rstyle.me/+28EdjMNkEU_NtXTzEXG5MQ
Brooke's Beauty Bazaar Thank youuu 😘
Use vaseline as a lip balm and you’ll be in love!
The bioderma has one fungal acne trigger though
Is the POND'S Rejuveness anti-wrinkle cream Safe?
Brooke, ive just have had too many experiences with gel creams feeling sticky on my face. I love CeraVe products. How does the CeraVe tub moisturizer feel on your face?
I’m not Brooke obviously but I’m coming back to this video after trying the Cerave in the tub, I’m looking for an alternative because I find it is a bit sticky but it’s good for someone who has really dry skin because it really does attract a lot of moisture. My skin is on the oilier side and it did not agree with my skin.
Hey!! Do you have any thoughts on Kiehls Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream? Or on Kiehls in general?
I have often thought of purchasing it and always seem to go for something else. I think based on the description of it being a 'Gel-Cream' and having a look at the overall ingredients list- It makes me think it's a more luxurious version of the Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream. That being said- it gets decent ratings on Kiehls' website.
--> TBH, I always find myself wishing Kiehls had more to offer in the fungal acne realm. I've never gotten too heavy into the brand even before I discovered fungal acne- so I don't have any major feelings in favor or against it.
- Have you used their stuff a lot? What do you think?
Love your videos 💕 it’s so helpful. I have a strange question 😆 if I have fungal acne I should use all the products safe for fungal acne or it’s ok if I use lip balm with castor oil or eyeliner not safe for fungal acne? Will it cause more fungal acne on face?
PS just start changing my skincare routine with your help💕 I also have eczema..dermatitis.and probably rosacea 😭
Thanks for your lovely comment, Toma! My advice to you would be -- don't be afraid to experiment! Eyeliner may not cause a problem since it's concentrated to such a small part of your face. Especially if you're not experiencing any breakouts or "symptoms" in that area, it's probably fine to use. Same with your lip balm.. unfortunately, I can't use non-FA safe lip products, because I had a bad contact dermatitis/eczema rash on my lips that was FA related. Just trust yourself to experiment & find out what works for you! Hope that helps ✨❤️
Brooke's Beauty Bazaar thank you so much for reply 😻 looking forward for your new videos ❤️
Brooke's Beauty Bazaar ...btw I really love your background with candles and stuff on previous videos...it’s really shows your personality and vibes💫 many people having just the wall on background or something too simple..and it’s sometimes very boring... @@tomadvoretskaya4926 Thanks for the feedback! I've been playing around trying to figure out what works best for my audience, so glad to hear this!
is the versed dew point gel cream FA safe? it’s super similar to the Iunik centella cream but I’m not sure if the glycerin could contribute to more yeast growth :’(
It's not fungal acne safe. The jojoba seed oil contained in the formula is a way bigger issue that glycerin. Check out my video on Glycerin- everyone thinks it's a problem, but really it's not. There are studies linked in the description bar of that video that you can also check out! :)

i hope lol
Can you do a review on REGENACALM 2% RETINOL AND VITAMIN C SERUM S1 from the Facethoery. It claims all the ingredients are fungal acne safe.
I'm not familiar with Facetheory, but I'll definitely be looking further into that brand! I checked the serum you asked about and see a couple of esters in it, which are known to trigger fungal acne- polyglyceryl-4 oleate and retinyl palmitate. Ironically, retinyl palmitate is both an ester AND the active vitamin A/retinol in this product.
I actually have a video coming out tomorrow about a retinol product that is FA safe, so stay tuned!
I love the coconut water cream, I like to use a small amount with a tiny bit of squalane when I’m really dehydrated. I was disappointed in the size of it for the price but it’s lasted me quite well and is worth it in my opinion! I didn’t mind the La Roche Posay one I just didn’t really feel like it was great at hydrating but it was nice and light for in the summer. Thank you for your videos Brooke ❤️

Yes, Argan Oil cand and will trigger the growth of Malassezia! Very few oils out there won't.

I'm not able to find the ingredients list for that specific product. However- I don't know of any Bath & Body Works lotions that are safe- and as it has "shea" in the name, I would assume it's formulated with Shea Butter which would already make it unsafe!
Does cerave foaming gel cleanser helps for fungal acne?
It contains one ester, but since it's just a face wash that you are washing off immediately, meaning it isn't going to stay in contact with your skin all day-- I don't think it's very likely to cause problems with fungal acne. I personally wouldn't be afraid of it!
I'm currently using a cleanser by Bioderma that has 1 ester, and it's been totally fine!
