Really learning about colour correction etc thank you for sharing. Is each adjustment made for the whole clip or individually as you edit the content ?
Thank you for watching and learning with me!
actually it depends with the type of content you are creating for example if you are grading a short film, you must have a certain color theme (for the whole video) that adds to your story. however, there can be some scenes where you'll need to make some tweaks just to match that particular scene.. let me know if you've found this helpful..
good thank u
You're most welcome, friend.
Very informative
Great if the video could help yu. Thank you my friend, for liking the content
Thank you for this just what I need to fill in some knowledge gaps. As a filmora user I have a question on how you achieved what you showed at 1:20 where you have a split screen. Do you have the video on the right at this point as a separate video file cut to the exact length of the display or can you trim it whilst editing split screen properties? Thanks!
hi fellow, i'm glad that you watched the video and found it helpful, i'll say thank you for that. about your question on the split screen, first i have to say its not filmora's split screen (not defaults or templates) but its a custom split screen - where you make it on your own. the video on the right was customized , scale, or size on transform tab, and i added a white border effect. then the middle split is a white sample color also customized on transform. and lastly, behind the video on the right is a background sample color. i hope this reply will help, if you still have questions, you can ask we'll help each other. ❤
@alexeditss no probs :) I can understand from the timeline how much effort went into it! Re: splitscreen, I understand from your explanation how you achieved that now. Thanks!
@@ground2airmedia555 well, my fellow. i'm about to publish another complicated one .. :) lol. with my behind the scene.. :) just in the next hour
thank you
Most welcome my dear, friend..

concerning your request; the audio i used here is covered by my filmora license. i'ts actually copyrighted, and if you use it, you ought to have a license. even if i download it for you, it will still be strike while on your channel.
Wow, thats our Prophet, right there at you screen
Oh my brother.. Shalom. I knew one day someone will see..
👍
hi fellow editor..
I have Filmora 12, but I don't have Color Wheels under the Color tab. I only have Basic, HSL, Curves. Am I missing some settings or plug-in?
hi friend, now you don't need any plug-in for that. it's the version of filmora that you are using. check out for the latest version of filmora.. thanks for asking, if you have other challenges in the process, let me know
Alex I really found the title and information herein misleading.
When your grading color on a video it’s not the same as grading on still images. The grade occurs over a timescale. This video would be better stated as “color corrections”.
Good information on color correction, zero help on grading, you took the definition then did your own thing with it. It would be at 1,5,8,10,12,15 seconds into a clip, having the color alter or change, that is grading over footage. You just showed correction.
hi my dear, lovely friend, thank you so much for this comment. its such a good thing that i create my videos to editors who are already in the industry (some of them), and that means we have moments of joining heads together, as we perfect the ideas for the benefit of the community.
Now, from your contribution in this comment, l'll summarize: as you suggest that:
1) my theory is correct
2) the color correction is correct
3) the grading is wrong.
* now if you my friend did accept my theory, i think the following stages must be correct too because i got the
practical side according to the theory.
* i think it may give more insight my friend if you consider the software that we are using (its abilities), and watch the
whole video through.
Thanks, dear.
