I noticed that it spun thr other way but I can't get it to start when its on the surface. It will spin when I have it off the ground tho

I usually start it spinning in the air and then drop it in the gap.

How long does the battery last?

Quite a while. Even using a 1.5ah I was able to edge several times before having to recharge.
