Thanks for the montage. The thing is they ALWAYS portray the customer as the "bad guy" in real life. I know there is a lot of compilations of customers being horrible, but NEVER taking about the representative being rude, and is often portrayed as "the victim who could never do wrong". I know the customer isn't always right, but neither is the representative, either. And yes, I've worked in customer service. I've had the most wrong be done to me mostly by my coworkers than customers. Customers are not the only ones that act rudely.
Some of our favorite examples of just HORRENDOUS customer service from some classic films. Thanks for putting this together tmuka - and for censoring out the language. That scene from "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" has quite a few f-bombs!
I couldn't agree fucking more. I work for a third party company that somewhat works for comcast, and help fix wireless equipment for customers. If people did your idea, customer service would probably be better for everyone
I Have A Job...I Make Mistakes, But I Have Someone Let Me Know About Those Mistakes And I Don't Do Them Again. Despite The Mistakes, I Treat Customers With Respect.
Awwww, bummer. I was hoping to see the bit where Steve Martin freaks out on the car rental clerk. Oh well. The jump from "Falling Down" back to "Seinfeld" was pretty amusing.
Fast Times At ridgemont high is so funny. Also this doesnt include the scene in Big Daddy where they asked for breakfast from McDonald's at 11 am when breakfast isnt served anymore but they wouldnt give it to them.
Honestly… I’ve done customer service for 23 years. These peoples reactions to the way these customers are behaving is entirely WHY we sometimes behave the way we do. There just comes a time whenever you get tired of being walked all over and being treated like you’re beneath the dirt you walk on. These people just took their zeroF’s left to give into the negative.
Oddly enough, where I live the DMV actually does a pretty good job at delivering customer service. Some are friendly and personable for an inner city understaffed government office. At their worst they are just neutral.
Since I'm doing Hospitality I started watching Bad customer service and I started Laughing because it was Hilarious and I found out the guy from who played as a Fire Chief from Tacoma FD I've seen all the time after the impractical jokers now he's a Trooper or State police officer
I can totally relate to the first video. Don’t you hate it when they’re on the phone with like a relative or a friend instead of doing their job? The sad part is this is now reality.
You don't need to go far to see bad customer service. just go to any government institution where they deal with the public. like the DMV. basically, they don't 'owe' you shit, so they can do whatever they want. I once came to the dmv, waited in line for half an hour (it was a very short line) and as I approach the register, ask my questions, the phone rings. the worker picks it up, and just speaks with whomever for 10 minutes, while I stand there and look at her like an idiot.
@tmuka, love this video! It’s so funny and great example of what not to do. Can I have your permission to use it in a presentation of what not to do in a presentation re: customer service?
+Jeff Matthew -you too have some shortcoming man! -oh yeaaaaahhh!!?? LIKE WHAAT! -....you play alot with your balls -.............i.....play with my balls -yep,all the time hahhahaha classic movie
I know everyone is looking for the next Bitcoin but that’s like looking for the next Wheel or the next internal combustion engine. You can sit there on your porch and wait while we’re all buzzing by in our motor cars but even if you live to be a hundred you might not see another one...
If opportunity doesn't knock, build one,my dad always told me the key is you have to think BIG to win BIG! Always keep that as your energy and a reminder!
Prince of Turtles It is bad customer service. The use of negative words in customer service is totally unacceptable. She should've simply asked what he'd like to have, then when he responds, she can either go the extra mile to provide this, but if its unavailable, simply politely inform the customer that the product is out of stock then immediately offer alternatives that the customer can choose from. CS is simple when you treat the customer how you'd want to be treated.
Falling down is truly an incredible movie. I'm glad I had to watch this for a homework assignment.

I couldn't agree fucking more. I work for a third party company that somewhat works for comcast, and help fix wireless equipment for customers.

Silhouette Smile You shouldn't work in customer service if you can't handle people. That's your job! Don't like it? Then strive for something better.

"Roger, holding the spit."
I forgot to mention that was her personal phone, and it wasn't work related.
Names of the movies please.
Boy, this makes Seinfeld seem like a really really old show.

The best way to receive good customer service, is by being a good customer...
That varies according to the product or service. Some businesses are badly run and you get shitty service no matter how great a customer you are.
TealPangolin Well after my experience at Argos (UK) today I say you talk BS.
I always think of this when I have a shitty customer at work and wish I could JUST ONCE say something like it to wipe the small of his face!!! Hahaha
what is the name of the movie with steve martin
what's the movie with Judge Reinhold ?
