Well he would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than TRUMP!!!!
If you connect them to two flat boards combined with a piano hinge, then you can easily push them closer to the wall. Takes up a bit more wall space, but doesn’t stick out as far into the garage. Great video! Very enjoyable.
Nice setup Blake. Very inspiring. I might suggest one small tweak to your bike racks. Offset the middle one by a few inches up or down to prevent handlebar overlap. Rock on!
Mister Wizard! Thoroughly enjoy how Blake can crank it all the way left for Insane Beast Mode Fun and all the way right for Professor Fun. What a dad!!
Great project! I'm doing something similar, and if one has the ceiling height to work, and short on total width, stagger the front wheel brackets vertically so the handlebars of each bike don't interfere with each other.
HaHaHa Blake as a veteran carpenter, 42 yrs ,curved stair builder and railing installer , I love watching your attempts at all this, it reminds me of my very early years , Seriously, While a little rudimentary ,Your Enthusiasm and Pride is AWESOME and Contagious , The only addition would be maybe start using a little sandpaper around the edges and some glue ,I look forward to watching your handy skills grow and improve. Keep it up Buddy. A small work bench for yourself would be nice to watch.
Lol, familiar with the channel and an occasional viewer, this time I ended up here after googling 'bike storage solutions'. Ahem, after my wife said 'another bike?, well, we need a good storage solution then ...' so there you go. Nice video!
Hey Blake top tip... Rotate the wheel bracket things 15-20 degrees. Makes the handle bars angle away from each other. Easier to take the bikes on and off the wall without cables/bars tangling. Bonus... You'll have more room between the wheels and rafters
Size 8 shoes! Baby foot Blake! Should put the bike hangers on big heavy duty hinges on one side so you can put them on and then push them across so they take up less room.
Great vid, really enjoy the "Blake Builds" series. A winter trouser review would be awesome, maybe a budget pair at £50ish Mid range £90ish and premium for around £130ish.
Absolutely more! Do the work station, yeah. I've already built my mini kicker, had to build 3 because that 18" was toooo high. So I built a 6" than a 12" and soon I hope, I will actually jump the 18". So far loving the 12"! Also just finished my manual trainer, but haven't tried it yet. Baby Steps! Thanks for all the Video, absolutely priceless
I may have went with a pvc pipe for the shoes. just so they don't rot the wood or mold overtime. also hung them the other way so the water would drip towards the toe. love the set up though for a small area. super clean!
Same here, 5 bikes in one night plus tools and a pair of Girvan forks, absolutely gutted. Get a garage defender and make sure you have sufficient insurance to cover garages and out buildings
Done a great job there Blake, wish I had the room to do similar in my garage but it's just so full with bike stuff, tools, pillar drill, hydraulic press, bench grinders, welder, lubes, enough nuts, bolts, screws brackets etc to stock a hardware store and that's not to mention the bikes and a motorbike. I've got pretty much everything to tackle most jobs but have to move stuff out to the garden to be able to use it as a workshop, I kinda went a bit overboard knitting it out !
Great video. I personally found the 22" to be a bit long for my bikes though. I had to cut my road bike down to 18" to clear the frame and another one to 20" to fit my mud guard. If I built them again I would probably make them 20" instead of 22". Still super stoked on how they turned out though. They look great and my garage is a lot more organized.
Takes me back to the manual trainer... i imagined Blake drilling a hole in the trainer in front of the wheel and hanging it up as a similar style of bike storage. Might need another little chock at the top of the trainer to prevent the wheel rolling out when in storage mode. Nice garage Blake!
Blake You Are The Man... Love Your Vids... your Camera Work and Presenting Style are really Enjoyable, always coming accross as totally at ease, its like having a conversation with a Good Buddy. You only seam a little off your game at times when your alongside Mr Ashton in the Dirt Shed, love all the MBN Channels G and E. Really Enjoy your Builds Keep them up Buddy. The Only thing Different on the Shoe Rack i would do is use Stair Handrail often refered to as Mopstick Rail... reason being its rounded so no Square edges to snag on the shoe lining possibly pulling or cutting the interior of the shoe. Needless to Say only wet shoes on the bottom Rail and rotate them to the upper rail as one lot dries and another gets wet. SSWWWEEEEEETTT!!!!!!
Oh the Wall Timbers look to be 2x2 inch Battons not 1X1 inch Buddy. Also if you dont mind revealing whats your Motorbike Mate? Are the wheels alloy? or the Pressed Steel Wheels such as you got on some of the Old Honda Super Dreams? Or is it A Yamaha Model? Old BMW R1100R and A Old DR350 i need to get them back on and off the road again. Keep Up The Great Work....
little tip when you batten out the wall do not put the battens flush to the floor. As they will absorb moisture create, condensation around the back and it will eventually rot out
Awesome video Blake. Totally inspired me, so I built one bracket this weekend to hang my fiancee's bike, worked awesome. Will probably build another tomorrow for my bike. Thanks for getting me off my butt :)
What would you like Blake to build next? Let us know in the comments below 👇
Global Mountain Bike Network could Blake build a kit organiser for your shoes, camelback, helmet etc
@@joeocarroll1561 great idea
I know he kind of made one but maybe a seperate unit for a bedroom?
Do something on bike security like installing ground anchors
Shoe storage- but for a lot of shoes.
Hiring Blake as a presenter was the smartest decision this channel has ever made
Sam Davenport apart from letting scotty leave
@@Fopppyable blake is much better
Absolutely. He's awesome
We love Blake. Blake for president. Do you think Blake can run for president in the U.S.?
I have no doubt he could, and would also be better than current president. Make America Ride Again!
Well he would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than TRUMP!!!!

I enjoy the local recycle place. Kudos for using it and putting out there for people know its ok to reused the used.
I will definitely be doing this this summer!!!
Why not do it now?
Will do the same thing when the semester’s over

1 minute in and I gave a thumbs up before I saw the project and you didn't disappoint
Nice setup Blake. Very inspiring. I might suggest one small tweak to your bike racks. Offset the middle one by a few inches up or down to prevent handlebar overlap. Rock on!
Thomas Dunkerley, exactly what I was thinking. So, did 3 bikes actually fit together on this layout?
My two cents would be to offset the shoe racks so when the top ones drip it doesn't transfer to shoe below. Great work!
Blake, best Carpenter ever, nobody wears the goggle so professional as he do😉👍
Mister Wizard! Thoroughly enjoy how Blake can crank it all the way left for Insane Beast Mode Fun and all the way right for Professor Fun. What a dad!!
come on Blake build your work station.... these kind of videos are awersome
Im currently building a near identical bike rack after seeing Blake build his, Ill send in photos of the newly built bike cave when I finish!
Would watch any of Blake's vids tbh, as long as he's having fun :)
I thought about bike storage and instantly though I bet blake has a diy for us, these are the best videos
I just love your energy and enthusiasm! Very addicting!
More of these DIY videos from Blake, there a good watch and I love a bit of DIY myself
I just built these and they look fantastic in our garage. Thank you so much for this video!!!!
nice one. do you think you will consider building this one too? ua-cam.com/video/jq-nh_QP9cI/v-deo.html
Love the DIY video. Also nice Jeep in the background.
Blake, thanks for giving me some great ideas & inspiration to get my bikes (4) off the floor!!
hope this will inspire you too. ua-cam.com/video/jq-nh_QP9cI/v-deo.html
How can you anyone not love Blake. ❤
i think the second shoe rack needs to be offset cuz as it is your wet shoes will just drip on the others
or put the wet shoes at the bottom....
You can only put one pair on at a time
Slick. This is giving me some ideas for my shed. Get the work station done ASAP
Great project! I'm doing something similar, and if one has the ceiling height to work, and short on total width, stagger the front wheel brackets vertically so the handlebars of each bike don't interfere with each other.

Nicely done, Blake. Can’t wait to see the work stand.

Yes a small workstation on the right would be good with a peg board for tools at the back 👍
Looking sick dude !! Every man should have a bike cave !!!!!!!
I can’t wait to see the rest of your builds 👌🏻.
Blake’s a brilliant presenter too
Interesting to hear you switch from metric to the old measuring system - great video

Fantastic stuff Blake, I hope to get my garage sorted soon. This has inspired me to get my arse in gear
Love it! Awesome Blake! Inspired me to work on mine!
Those hooks through the wheel work a treat if you slide a piece of automotive heater hose over them

Hey this worked great! I built 6 of these this weekend and hung them along the wall of my garage.

great content Blake, inspired me to finally sort out the bike area in my own garage. Definitely like to see a work station idea next :)

get a garage defender fitted ,I had a up and over door like yours and the sods broke in and nicked my pride and joy a marin rocky springs
