Thanks for another great video. In my experience these perch favor the Rocky areas. Have you ever tried blood worms instead of pile worms? I remember that they used to work better on the beach 50 years ago for the barred surf perch. Also, fresh muscles are very hard to beat if no store-bought bait is available.

Hey Steve, thank you so much brother!!! Yes, you are absolutely correct about the striped perch favoring the rocky areas!! I have never tried blood worms, but I am going to give it try, and I will do a video on using both Pile and blood, and see which one wins, and I will give you a shout out on that video for coming up with that Idea, thank you!!!!!!! My Dad and I use to go during low tide, and pick fresh muscles, and Sand crabs to use as bait, and they worked well!!!!!!!!!!
