    At 47:37 a guy in the crowd says "Kurts in a good mood tonight" and then someone throws a shoe at Kurts guitar and he plays it off really well...he was indeed in a good mood. Incredible show...tons of energy. The band is at its best tonight. Thank you mr. Copper pot. You are cherished for doing these videos.

      Huh, that's not the only time someone threw a shoe at Kurt. Someone, maybe the same person since I heard it rumored that it was the sound engineer, threw a shoe at Kurt about 2 months earlier; at the Halloween 93 concert, where Kurt was Barney the Dinosaur at the beginning.

      I really miss him and his wit, outlook , comments and general sentiment towards life. He makes me feel like I'm not the only one. No, I'm not the only one. Still hurts. I graduated high school in 94 and the loss at that time(Kurt was really hyped up in the press, but he spoke directly to me and I love him), it still fucking breaks my heart.

    Jesus, talented people amazing and um... talented. These guys were just young dudes at the time. I'm getting old enough now to look at people that are that age as kids yet (even though I know their not).
    But it's the same with all great people. They just have it. I guess that's how their all able to kick some major ass and still die at the tender age of 27.

      Tyler Williams just a joke it all it was. When someone who can’t dance goes to goof around and shows off their ‘moves’. Remember different ones of us doing stuff like that one there and other goofy dance moves. Can’t remember offhand what movie(s) and/or show(s) as well I’ve seen that in. But yeah, it’s something you do when you jokingly go to show what kind of dance moves you got or how good a dancer you are. Best way I can think to explain it. But that’s definitely what he’s doing there. Actually took me back a bit when I very first saw him do that yrs ago. Defntly 1 of his better shows if one is to look for shows he played where he was in a good/joking mood.

    This is so low quality, but somehow every time I watch this I’m sucked in to this time and this event that it feels like I’m at the show. I’ve been to so many concerts, some even rare ones under my belt, and the recordings in this video feel like how it felt when I saw Frank Ocean or Aphex Twin live. Surreal, and I can’t even believe that they’re real and actually here performing live right in front of me.

    To me, his is the best Nirvana live I've seen so far. Kurt was at his best tonight, even for SLTS. Wish there's a soundboard recording of this (there's one for Heart Shaped Box so there's hope).
    This live is mix with their early 90's shows, which were powerul, and their last shows (with Pat Smear and with a more "clean" sound).

    • @DT24K
      @DT24K 5 років тому +2

      Robin Lem Yes, there was a soundboard recording made of this show. For one, I’ve had a copy of it now since either late ‘94 or early ‘95. No UA-cam or easy internet access back then to where I could easily just try seeking out a copy. No, back then I had to hunt down bootleg copies of shows among collectors who were just here or there and the price of em were ridiculous compared to now. Espcly the cost for quality. The better the sound, the higher the price and I paid plenty for soundboard recorded copies of shows back then, believe me! But even if you don’t take what I say for true, there’s another way for you to tell yourself that there’s a soundboard recording of the show. On ‘Muddy Banks’ live LP release, the track ‘Heart Shaped Box’ is from this show and no, of the trks that are on that show where it’s said that some trks were just ‘cleaned up’ to sound good enough to make the cut for the release, HSB is not one of ‘em as they already had a soundboard recorded version of it ready.

      @DT24K 5 років тому +2

      Haha... what’s funny is that you all ‘think’ that you don’t hear any of Pat’s guitar playing. Got news for you... what the hell do you think he was doing with em on this tour? Why was he playing with the band thruout ALL of the In Utero tour starting from the Phoenix, AZ show in October up thru the infamous last show in Munich, DE on 03/01/94? I mean, if he was shit then why was it do u think that he didn’t miss out playing not one show? He was there to help the band (Espcly Cobain) make sure that each song was going to sound as good as it needed to be. So that each note was to be hit thruout each song. Sadly, this was due to Cobain’s heroin addiction. It had gotten so bad to where he wasn’t able to remember to hit all the chords in, what was first anyhow, most of the songs. As longer as the tour went on, the more songs Kurt needed quote/unquote ‘assistance’ in hitting all the notes required if the songs were going to sound as good as they did thruout this tour. By the end of the tour, Pat was helping out big time with ALL of the songs from the beginning to the end of each setlist every single night! Cobain is the reason and is WHO WANTED Pat to play with them on this tour. It’s bcos he knew he had trouble with remembering to hit all the notes in what at first was most of the new songs. But as the tour went on, the usage got to be more and more to where by the time Munich came around, Cobain was needing help with even a lot of the older songs as well. This is all in his autobiography Heavier Than Heaven. Might be mentioned in ‘Come As You Are’ book as well but off top of my head, I don’t remember for sure. Really hate that too cos there’s not been any1 thruout my life that I’m a bigger fan/follower of than Cobain. If he’d been able to get off that shit, who knows if he might’ve still been around today? Haha... but after all that... does that answer what I was saying about Pat’s guitar playing?! Lol
