Get Strong & Toned After Baby | Postpartum Workout With Dumbbells (Or Water Bottles)

- Today we are doing a 25-min postpartum dumbbell workout to get strong and toned! I used 10 lbs dumbbells, but use a weight that feels safe for you you or you can also grab water bottles or cans of beans. Include this workout a couple of times per week to see a difference in your muscle tone and definition!

Fan of the dumbbell workouts. That is how I would workout a lot pre-baby, including during pregnancy, and it feels really effective for short sessions.

You've saved my body! I've been doing your workouts since I was pregnant with my fifth. I'm now almost 2yrs pp and this is the most closed my diastasis recti have ever been. I’m 4 months postpartum and this was perfect! Thank you so much for making an inclusive workout! I broke my wrist right before I got pregnant and I haven’t attempted yoga or weights. This was challenging but easy on my wrist and out of use muscles. The stretching at the end felt so good. Can’t wait to do more of your workouts!
10m postpartum and I loved this dumbell workout. My lower back is very painful and I have a weak core so more core strength work, exercises for back pain and strength building would be great! Love what you do Jess…keep it up!

10 weeks post c-section and I am really enjoying the full body dumbell workouts with the pelvic floor exercises incorporated in, otherwise I won't take the time to do them.

I’m no longer solely forcing on postpartum working now and move to normal exercise but I was so happy to see this work out. I did 4 kg weight which I think converts to 10 lbs, it felt heavy enough!!
I spending this month trying to focus on my core strength/ I need to tighten my tummy still so I thought this was a good combination, if you could recommend any other of your videos that be great!

This was great especially with the dumbbells, thank you! You always give diastis modifications which is great. However, I have POP and I have come to realise prolapse is very common, I was told around 50% of women get it postpartum. Yet this is rarely acknowledged. For instance, I find it uncomfortable to do the sumo poses in all your videos, to mention just one thing. In future I would appreciate a bit more mentions of prolapse modifications, not just diastasis, and that would help in feeling less excluded and alone. Many thanks once again :)
Seconded! I stopped doing your videos when I found out I had POP because I wasn’t clear on what exercises were right for me. After doing PT I’m clear on it so I happily came back- I love this channel!- but until I was able to get into PT, it was really frustrating and isolating, and I definitely lamented having to stop your videos.

Thank you for what you are doing 🥰 I am 8 months pregnant, it's getting harder to move and workout, but I'm trying to do as much as I can. This is my first pregnancy, I'm feeling good in general, but I have so much cellulite 😯 I have allmost gained no weight at all besides belly, but what's with cellulite? Does it mostly goes away after birth when estrogen level goes down?
