This track hosts so many races. A track breakdown would be super cool and would probably do pretty well view wise. I’d be curious to hear how you approach each corner. 90’s vs 180’s etc and how they build off of each other.
Your content is awesome, I always loved MotorSports but never did it myself, I've been practising karting and i'm learning a lot with you, let's see how far I can go! Thanks once again for the amazing content and feedback you give! Cheers.
@@NorbergNation I see that you are using a front wheel speed sensor, 'm presuming you use the eBox with the 4? Do you think the front wheel speed sensor is better than rear
One question if this could be answered. Early on in the race when you went for the pass for 2nd and didn’t get it the driver in front tapped his helmet and then you tapped yours. I have been noticing this more often and from a personal race I had a driver do it to me. What does that mean
Eric 422 it means “push me” basically so at a track that you can gain a lot of speed from drafting you push the person in front on the straight so you can work together to get to the next pack.
Ryan Norberg Im a karting driver myself and I have noticed that when people overtake me in practice sessions they put their hand by their helmet, what does this mean?
@@NorbergNation from your mychron data in race studio, export it and you can use racerender to put telemetry over a video. I make all of my videos with telemetry so I can study them. :)
A video about steering and how to get the kart to work for you in the corners through steering input.

New castle is one of my favorite tracks hopefully I will see you there my name is Preveil
Nice run!
amazing content
Thank you!
Why the old Mychron 4? (I’ve noticed this also in your other videos.). DO you prefer it to the 5?
Jason Leslie I prefer the 4. The data is much more accurate
Thanks for clearing that up because I was also confused about that
@@NorbergNation I see that you are using a front wheel speed sensor, 'm presuming you use the eBox with the 4? Do you think the front wheel speed sensor is better than rear
@@larryhayashigawa6359 The rear one is more accurate but not by much so we use it on the front tire.
You ever thought of using the Jecko seats?
Philip Patton yes but we use Tiller and to me it is better for the chassis
do you use the same set-up for qualifying and for race? Closing gaps with a qualifying sprocket is usually harder
Yes very similar setups
what does it mean when they touch their helmet?

I would say do a little bit of both
Post more!!!
i thought the super kart is a shifter
What does all hand signals mean?
Rafael Thell there are a lot of signals. Normally you can understand with the context of the race.
Ryan Norberg Im a karting driver myself and I have noticed that when people overtake me in practice sessions they put their hand by their helmet, what does this mean?
@@rafaelthell7553 They are asking you to help push them
Ryan Norberg thanks a lot, you’re by far the nicest and probably one of the quickest karting driver on UA-cam!
how about some telemetry
mrbpots I don’t have to equipment to post that.

Actionwaffle he doesn’t use a Mychron 5 so no gps data
@@coltincraigo5007 no doubt he has the GPS logger for the mychron4. He has wheel speed as well on the front.
