I recently completed the DevOps course and I must say, it was a highly informative and well-structured course. The lessons were clear and easy to understand, and the instructor's knowledge and passion for the subject made the course even more engaging. The hands-on activities and practical examples helped me to solidify my understanding of the topics covered. I appreciate the time and effort put into creating this course and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to expand their knowledge in DevOps
I feel like I should state this that anyone watching this video, please do not misunderstand what this video is showing you. This video is not showing you how to do DevOps. DevOps is a culture and not a job role, any company that offers you a DevOps job, run away as they're essentially trying to bypass the more challenging aspect which is transforming a company working culture in which developer and operations are collaborating. What this video is showing you for the most part is the responsibilities that a platform engineer would have to take on. I don't know a single software engineer, that works in a company that boasts a DevOps culture that has to worry about switching and routing. If they do, then they are trying to overload their developers with additional work that they don't need to do instead of hiring SRE' or platform engineers.
Thank you, after getting stuck at the linux services configuration section, and I decided to scroll down and saw your comment, saving me from having to watch the complete video as it was irrelevant to what I want to do.
Mumshad is amazing trainer and tech enthusiast. Never ever you can find someone like him who can explain the most complex topics in a simpler way. Keep rocking..! Thanks for being magnanimous and sharing this video for free.
Thanks for making this available. It is a million times better and precise compared to rest of the resources available on UA-cam. Please if you could include section for filling systems as well, or guide me to link if you have already done it.
Thanks a million for this course. I was really enjoying taking it. Labs were very engaging. The concepts were explained very clearly so I was able to quickly close all my gaps in the networking, Linux and all that DevOps stuff. Thanks again, the best course ever!!!
Thank you, ive been using computer and doing basic networking for the internet for ages, but i never really fully understood the complete ip networking system since that very video! thank you so much!
It has been a great experience watching this video. This video was very easy part of me. I realized that I am ready to start devops engineering. I am an experienced network engineer and I want to start the devops engineering area. What is your suggestions to start this area? book or course anything will help me. thank you.
Great content. I was looking for a brief DevOps specific Linux course - thank you for summarizing the prerequisites this way YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD! I was wondering if you don't mind sharing, what is the software you used to create the contents? I love it very professional.
Hi. RPM won't take care of installing dependencies but will fail if those "required" dependencies (.spec) aren't installed on the system (and won't even install ansible as given in your example). Thanks for knowledge share btw. Thumbs up
For any new technology not required coding skill. U should know logic. That's it. Even I am java developer but I don't java at first time and I have done bsc physics.
Hi Is the requirement to be developer to become a devops and is the much coding involved in being devops I understand several languages however find it difficult to transit from coding to building project. Thanks,
For people with apple silicon ARM processors (M1,2,3) is there a recommended way to follow along the tutorial? I read about some possible virtualization tools for ARM like UTM, but they don't support CentOS
Linux is tough for me. Which job is best without Linux and coding/scripting? Could anyone suggest me best job where no Linux, scripting, coding involves. I am trying a lot to understand Linux commands and aws cloud but not understanding at all. Admin suggest me best job without Linux, scripting coding.
I have a question- To run these commands and test yourself, whether we have to setup our own vm in window cause i use window computer or they have any kind of environment to do so?? If yes, where to find it.
Thanks for this course! I learned a lot of new and valuable things. Is there any continuation of this course (or a higher level)? Thank you in advance!
Seven minutes in, and just reviewed the section on "cent os" and why we chose it... I get it, makes sense, however in relation to Linux, does it matter? I'm running Buster, Debian... Between Ubuntu, CentOs, etc... aren't these Linux distributions similar enough that having a specific one is erroneous? Granted, things like package managers are different but the underlying architecture is basically the same. Not trolling, not being difficult, simply asking.
@@nitinshukla8294 The interesting thing is when things like ROS are introduced and you are only able to load it and develop with it within Ubuntu. I don’t want to whine about it either as it makes sense when building something gargantuan as a robotics operating system frameworks that of course you’d have diffculty making it available on many distros (humoring the creator(s)). However, I do wonder these things and just like Linux’s arch enemy Windows not all distros are an answer for every available challenge. Anyway, long winded answer for “yeah it makes a difference from the standpoint you want to ensure the distro/platform can meet the needs for running the things you intend to run.”
I have a query: will this course (full paid version) helpful for beginner for preparing to go to training courses (DevOps) in IT company ??? I have basic knowledges in VM (Hyper-V, VirtualBox VMWare), windows server administration, JAVA (core part), SQL, Git. My english level is PreIntermidiate.
Yes this will help you understand the methodology .Each tool like Ansible CI/CD ,Terraform will have its own set of learning curve but its not that difficult

Shutout to all the devs trying to make it in the industry. Don't give up you'll get there
is there any way to pass coding interview if you hate leetcode-style questions?
Ty :)
Shout out to those that got that first job but are still having a hard time. This stuff has a steep learning curve just keep going
We are here. Thanks for the encouragement

Hi Wajid, Where did you take the Devops course from and how was the training?
With this one course, I become confident and comfortable with whole environment and I can able to understand the further concepts

Access the labs here: labs.kodekloud.com
A note, it's not system 'cuttle' but system control "ctl"
Kubernetes uses cuttle (kube(cuttle) ) as in cuttle fish.

@HiteshChoudhary @KodeKloud is even mention of ProxMox skipped for complexity that beginners might face or there is some other reason?
we have to download workstation / server for centOS from osboxes?
