Huge improvement over your earlier videos, you're hauling some serious ass! Running a rotax dd2 currently, might get a shifter someday. Cheers from Denton, TX!
@@BrianMcCannRacing just downloaded. so i drag the video of me karting from my gopro into the template and it’ll put the speed, etc. onto it automatically?
@@omen3795 If your GoPro video has the data in it, RaceRender will detect it and ask if you want to import it. Then the little widgets will show the data.
I like that you put dumpster tires in the title. I used to run a rotax out there just for practice so I would always go hunt through the tire pile to save some money. I feel like your speed thing is wrong, I feel like it should be higher then 75mph though.
Thanks. Sometimes there's some half decent finds in the tire dumpster. The tires were completely worn after shooting this video. I've ran a few different ratios looking for the best setup for this track. For the gearing in this video, 6th tops out at 80mph. I've been trying for a while to hit 80mph on the back stetch, but turn 3 is hard to carry speed around, probably because of my choice of tires.
Brian McCann yeah, I had finally gotten my kart to handle but for a long time I was very free and would scrub off speed if I so much as looked through the corner. Lol. I sold my kart a couple years back when I moved only to move back now. I had an old Birel with a rotax on it. Bought a newer topkart and only got to run it once. It was tight and understeered everywhere (but I kept the setup that it came with and hadn’t changed anything yet) plus I could feel the motor giving up some power. Yet I ran the same lap times I had before. So I had a feeling with a refresh and setup work it was going to be fast. But then I moved. Keep it up, you’ll get there.
@@BrianMcCannRacing @Brian McCann wow thanks for the quick response. Looks awesome. I'm going karting today and would love to try this. What settings do you have it on? Is it on wide lens, superview, etc? Thanks

We went there today first time. My best lap on their kart was 69.009. I wanted more torque.
On a rental? You find 69 on kid karts. In a rental 59 makes sense, but is still slow. Juniors and seniors get into 49s.
@@WynnofThule The fastest lap time on a rental is 61.2 actually
@@gavinfaync I got 67.6 and thought I was good lol
@@BrianStClair-yy8xk Same lol I can't seem to break into 66 seconds I think its because of the tires
I got a 65.003 on a damp track. I was still speeding up so if I stayed a bit longer and the track tried out I might have hit the 63s

when it looks more like virtual reality
That's one way to be able to pass Tim Skinner out on track at GoPro. Pretty hard otherwise
That looked like so much fub
1.7 g on dumpster tires? So youre losing like 0.5 for tires alone?
what software do you use for your gopro to get that telemetry?
RaceRender
Brian McCann thanks!

Why is everyone else so slow?
I was gonna say rental karts but they aren't. Interesting.
They are in slower classes (rotax max, ka 100, lo 206, ect.)
