New Coolant Reservoir from 1AAuto.com trq.video/ib-1...
This video shows you how to install a coolant reservoir on your 1998-2010 Volkswagen Beetle. Your vehicle is equipped with a tank containing extra coolant, and space for the coolant to overflow to when the system gets hot. A cracked or broken tank could slowly drain your vehicle of much needed fluid. A dirty tank could send debris into the system, clogging it.
This repair was done on a 2001 Volkswagen Beetle GLS 2.0L Hatchback 2-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
1998 Volkswagen Beetle
1999 Volkswagen Beetle
2000 Volkswagen Beetle
2001 Volkswagen Beetle
2002 Volkswagen Beetle
2003 Volkswagen Beetle
2004 Volkswagen Beetle
2005 Volkswagen Beetle
2006 Volkswagen Beetle
2007 Volkswagen Beetle
2008 Volkswagen Beetle
2009 Volkswagen Beetle
2010 Volkswagen Beetle

I'm asking for water and it keeps taking me to coolant do beetles not have a water resovoir
Awww, my car! I have a Yellow 2002 VW Turbo Beetle. The red thermometer looking temperature light has been coming on when I start it from a cool engine, but it only stays in for a minute or 2, then it goes off and the usual blue temperature light comes on like normal when staring the car and it’s fine throughout the drive. Do you think it’s the coolant level? (If so, what’s the proper coolant and how to check and add)Please let me know what you recommend, and is it easy for a beginner at engines?
Way is my plug not going back on to my new resavore
