Sisterlocks Wash Routine Beginner's Guide

Hey ya'll, in this video I go over the initial washing routine for sisterlocks before they lock.
1. Until your sisterlocks lock it is important to loosely braid your locks and tie them back with small rubber bands.
2. Make sure you always use your sisterlocks starter shampoo to wash your Sisterlocks, paying special attention to the hair at the roots.
3. After you are done washing, make sure you use your fingers to separate your Sisterlocks.

Did you always braid it even when you first got loc'd? Or when you started to get length?

Thank you for the great video. A couple of questions. What is the ratio in the spray bottle of shampoo to water? Also, do you towel dry your hair at all after you wash? Either right after you wash or after you have taken out your braids. Thank you!

If your edges are long enough, just wrap it around the loc closest to it before braiding and banding. Be sure to separate then after your wash.
