Kesh! Happy 14 Month! Time is just flying along!
You did a great job straightening your sisterlocks! Very creative...it looks a lot like straightened loose natural hair, and can hardly tell that you have sisterlocks, until you show us your middle part up close!
Thanks for sharing this tutorial! 😍☺️

Interesting it’s so long. And looks like loose hair.

What interlocking pattern do you use? Your hair looks fluffy like it’s normal hair and not locked (confused)

I know your comment is old, but it seemed that a lot of her hair was still in the 2nd stage of locs, or the "teenage stage". This is the stage with a lot of budding, rebellious locs. Many people with sisterlocs can take years before their hair completely matures. I just think that her hair textures (which range from type 3C to 4C) needs more time to mature. Hope that helps. :)

In all honesty, if you resort to using HEAT ON LOCS to achieve a "straight look and texture," then you were not as ready as you thought you were as as it pertains to the TRUE COMMITMENT of having them. You should've just gone straight to a relaxer or keeping it in its natural state. That way you could burn out your hair, minus the work & effort you put into installing & growing your locs. Before you go off on my comment, JUST REMEMBER that YOU shared this method PUBLICLY. Therefore you should be prepared for ANY feedback, be it negative or positive......

No. No and no. We do locs how WE want nobody has to do it the same way. I did my locs myself, my way, and I am happy. I don't want a relaxer, I want to do what I please maybe I want to straighten it into a ponytail so I don't get tension maybe I want to do it for fun. Who cares. My hair my body my choose. Why don't you go police your own hair? Who goes around telling others what they must do. Guess what she flat ironed her locs and doesn't have to relax it just cause you said so get over yourself.

Something about this comment just reeks of negativity. Im not sure if it was what you said or how you said it though…maybe both. Like I get your point but this was kinda one of those things that just wasn’t necessary imo🤷🏽‍♀️.

@@yltnaillirb4438 so then why utilize valuable time ENTERTAINING IT by commenting to me? Its because YOU have the god given right to do so because this is a PUBLIC FORUM, correct? Exactly. I also exercised MY RIGHT to do the same. Now that we've gotten the formalities outta the way & you've been schooled, I'm gonna get some sleep. You do the same suga, & have a blessed night... K? And don't bother responding. You're MUTED. 😘

@@daliam8641 so if you feel one may do WHAT they want & "who cares," then why are you on MY THREAD whining about it as tho YOU CARE? One who feels confident about the decision to do what they please wouldn't use their time griping about it.... they'd just DO IT, yes or no? Precisely. Now that you've been properly schooled, I'd like to get a head start on some good ole fashioned sleep. You do the same. No need to reply. You're muted with the rest😘😜
