Most player speed run quest and getting into dungeon and raid ASAP, but the “help you in the long run” concept also works in lost ark, you can use trade skill along the way, collecting mokoko seeds, do side quests, hidden quests, do map completions,
New world is the same, you try to speed run to max level, but the only difference between the questing in two games, is Lost ark is much fast paced, while new world, you spending more time running around in the open world then actually doing the quest.
I appreciate this channel so much! With work and grinding to endgame myself I'm glad I got to see what Shroud was up to in his playthrough. Plus watching a different class is always fun.

Yeah, for some reason foreign audio is bugged not just Korean. It helps to download the Korean VO DLC before enabling Korean I think, but it might still be broken in some areas.

The same can apply for Lost Ark too. It's just that you, and most other players, myself included, just went for the big msq, spam g, go next.
Life skilling, side quests and filling out the Adventure Book along your way, is by far the most effective and legitimate way to play the game in my opinion. Im at the point now where Im going back to older regions, to finish out the adventure book, to get the additional loot from it, like Skill Potions, Utility Potions, Collectibles and other currencies. While it's an enjoyable experience, I most definitely regret not doing this while I was leveling my character, it would've been a completely different ball game.
Just make another character and play with a pal and play that character when and only when you're with your pal/s. :D much much more enjoyable.
My friends do this and we all have the rush character and then we have the together character.
I can't see how people like new world at all tbh. I really tried to like it and just from the get go, it's so uncreative and clunky. There is literally no satisfaction in anything you do. Lost ark has responsive combat and multiple systems that actually feel like they help you in the long run. That and actual monsters rather than dogs and pigs you fight.

Early lost ark story is insanely bland and because of the awful dub it's pretty annoying. Once you get past that thought that's when you have fun. Some people don't like that but others do.

A month of game time is still pretty good though honestly
LA has less in common with diablo then it does with WoW or ff, its just isometric and similar controls, the story 1-50 is just lore and tutorial island, not reflective end 90% of the game at all.
It makes sense that a guy who refuses to test a F2P game comments under a video of said game and claims "not much different from diablo". How is this the same as diablo though? Diablo is literally farming the same greater rift for slightly better gear. This game has so much more too it. Anyway its up to you whether to play it or not, just don’t bash it like you just did.

This game is defin pay to win, but idc.. id never play this game long enough for thT to impact my enjoyment, even if eldon ring wasn't coming out, which btw is $59. I have spent $0 on Lost Ark. And at least I'm not fighting the same 5 skeletons in every instance. So New World can go eat shit, in fact they should do it multiple times. They're good at that.
Dude come on. I get that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but New World is straight trash. Not just all the other things like the launch, server issues and bugs, the game itself is just bad. It's not creative at all, you fight things like dogs and pigs with really clunky mechanics and weapons like muskets and rapiers. The other systems like mining are just not rewarding at all. It's not just how amazon handles things, which they did horribly. It's just that the game fundamentally is not good. If nothing else, this shows in the numbers.
