One thing that annoys me though is that hes using a claymore, which requires 16 str and 13 dex to use, and he struggles to use it. However, in one of the early episodes, he clearly states that both his str and dex are at "like 20," meaning he wouldve had no issues using the claymore. This glaring oversight cannot be forgiven, therefore this is the worst video on youtube.
"You need to get good. That's really, really, really hard! Of course it's hard. We all struggle, sunbro. Everyone of us. Throughout our lives, we can get knocked down, and frustrated. Solaire's speech at the end is just so brilliant. Can I just say the amount of cinematography in these videos, especially the Dark Souls ones is so much better than a UA-cam series deserves. It's a crime you don't have us pay you for making these at this point!
don´t make me say it,..... patreon... =)
"Come 'ere ya little shit" is still my favourite Ben line.
mine is "come here you hollow little bitch"
"In the immortal words of the roly-poly elder lords, "Git gud, scrub!"
"Huagh! Yeah there it is, that's the stuff"
Outrageous
Mine is when he screams outrageous in that Tarkov video XD
The sound effect when he says “just run past them” has me cracking up. The details in these videos are amazing!
the two grunts being really proud and happy the player killed them so fast is actually the best bit imo
they are so chuffed the guy they used to fight has become good
The acting really makes me believe this is a Dark souls world. It's insane how good you guys have gotten. Keep it up loving this series.
Ben's fat roll where he yells "what is this, this sucks" was unbelievably hilarious
totally lol
The "running" away was just as funny.
I agree, the delivery is so good.
@@Underpantswher lol I mean you do have a point
"You need to get good.
That's really, really, really hard!
Of course it's hard. We all struggle, sunbro. Everyone of us.
Throughout our lives, we can get knocked down, and frustrated. We fail, we experience extreme loss. In order to recover and continue on our journey, we have to be focused, we have to practice, and we have to learn from our mistakes. And hey, a bit of help of a jolly cooperation never hurts either.
I don't need any help…
Of course you do. We all do. These things I'm saying are not new. Nor are they specific to you. It is advice as old as time itself. Passed down, generation to generation, since before the age of ancients. So you see, "get good" is not some dismissive meme, quite the contrary. It speaks to a truth at the heart of our entire lives. It is in fact the best advice anyone could ever give you.
You don't need to say anything, sunbro.
You just need to try."
Just in case you need motivation.
Thank you guys for this incredible speech from the best sunbro ever.
I love all of VLD's content, but this series is brilliant. So well done in every aspect. Bravo.
I'm waiting to see Ben finally take down Lord Gwyn with Solaire's help
You know I've seen all these but damn right I'll watch them again😂 season 3 please
Wish that I can loop this for 4 hours straight
@@shinodamasaru7945 u can though. Loop it through settings. Sry to be that guy lol
@@darkchampion6287 I'm good. I need to learn settings in YT. I'm Such a boomer
Loot lust is the bane of all gamers everywhere
It's not even funny how accurate it is
@@smollsquishytaeil I mean, it is and isn't looking back lol
Tell that to AquaFPS.
Patches is the punisher of loot lust
@@thesouphour8426 teleports you straight to the bears
The production value of this series is absolutely amazing! The color-grading is spot on, the the props are incredibly realistic, the themes and stories are well composed. This has become my favorite VLDL series of all time 💗
The ignored grunt part was oddly wholesome
Remember these stages of souls ashen one
1. Determination and happiness
2. Denial
3. Anger
4. Acceptance
5. Depression
love the series
Things that i wish to see in the future
+ How to counter immortal cheaters
+ Blightown (haha)
+ Gwynevere
+ Dragon covenant
+ The pendant
+ Artorias / Sif
PLEASE ADD PATCHES THE UNBREAKABLE! 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes! Gwynevere and Blightown 15fps madness.
dont forget the mimic ;)
Yes Artorias and Sif 😂
Blighttown would be awesome. Though IMHO Sen's Fortress is an even bigger pain in the ass. 😅
Man this is just awesome. Solaire is a real bro, the voice and play is just on point! And Ben is a perfect fit for the role of the pissed Souls player. Praise the sun!
I laughed so hard at this it is unbelievable. I never played, but my ex and my husband did, and I loved to watch - or listen. More than one controller went the way of the dodo, especially since I played Miracle of Sound's 'You died' every single time either was on the verge.
I hope YT paid you guys well. This is one of the highest effort videos I've ever seen.
Nope.. YT doesn't pay well at all. They did a video on this topic.
My god, this is good 🤣
The part where the two zombies confronted him for ignoring them for the boss was gold.
"Did you see at?! I can't remember the last time I got parried!" 😂 😂 😂
Gave me monty python vibes
That advice at the end, fucking fantastic. Honestly, the work these guys do, beyond amazing.
I love Solaire! He's a blast and so wholesome, man Ben's Sun-Bro and him are the best bromance out of all those in the VLDL videos!
15:40 That repaired health bar is a nice little detail. Nice work Viva LDL. (In the original video, the health bar stays full and doesn't move)
Ben being all giddy talking to Solaire is so cute! ^_^
I love the production quality. Absolutely stunning visual effects, and the acting is mind blowing. Head and shoulders above anything else I've seen on UA-cam.
10:20 it's just so perfect how Rowan says "get good scrub"
Monty python really inspired a great many people with their comedy. I can tell they inspired y'all when I watch this. Love the work guys!
Solaire himeslf Is clearly an homage tò King Arthur from MP & the holy grail 🤣❤️
"It's just a flesh wound!"
One time I summoned the same invader from his red summon sign for about an hour straight cause he was next to a bone fire. Never beat him one time but damn I could tell we were both having a lot of fun 😂
Wow! This ending advice is better than most of the modern movies!
20:10 WHY WON'T YOU LOVE US!!?! is just the cherry on top
Who thought we would find a solid uplifting speech from Solaire at the end of this video. A good speech for all things in life.
Hamish Does the Blue Depressed Guy's Role better Than The Blue Depressed Guy in the Firelink Shrine
Not as good as David Cross
He is playibg the crest fallen warrior
“Git gud” is still one of my favorite episodes
How does this only have 3 million views? Masterpiece tier content.
I love how "Bad Camera" is basically a second person skit.
Souls Logic: The ultimative guide to self-development! Thanx Ben! Thanx VLDL! 😃
I wonder when Ben will discover pyromancy or dark spells.
Ben: omg a cristal lizard.
Ben 10 seconds laters: I’m so dead
Ben 10 lmao
Alan’s speech about etiquette gave me massive Monty Python vibes 😂
So did the giant foot
Third season! Please!
Will forever love the final episode. So surprisingly wholesome 🦸🏻♂️
I love re-watching this. Solaire, the Ultimate Sun Bro, has the best speech. I've listened to it before my doctor's visits to help get me motivated to keep going and gitgud at working to fix my spine. 💗
The hollows make up was just AWESOME, the background crew behind these needs to be recognized, it's impressive!
this looks both extremely well done while still being indie/joke basically the effects and even acting is actually impressive hoping to see season 3
Solaire's words in the last episode are heartwarming and true. They got me without expecting it at all, indeed 😅
i love that dialogue with cameraman.
and whole camera job is also amazing
Absolutely amazing, I’ve been playing these games for 10+ years now and these videos do it such justice. Love you guys and loves your content!
That last one still gives me the feels ^_^ also 'I'm fast as fuck boi' still makes me laugh! Love this series!
Solaire's speech at the end is just so brilliant. I started playing DS after watching the series (multiple reasons, but main one was my old PC just kept crashing while playing) and it made the whole journey so much better. Knowing that it doesn't REALLY matter that much which armor / weapon you choose as it's all about how YOU want to play the game. And I've had some people telling me that I'm "playing it wrong" and that there is alot of "better" weapons but I always just remember Solaire's speech and everything is jolly good :)
Thank you for the brilliant videos bois, it always makes me laugh.
That last speech was like straight life advice for me brought me to tears. I really needed to hear it so stoked
I love how the first enemy who put his hand on the player’s shoulder, did not strike him at all, could have done a ground shot but chose mercy
I love this game and I love these vids. Endlessly accurate and endlessly funny. Most of all endlessly captures the joy that is playing and failing Dark Souls.
08:19 Rob's face always gets me 😂
22:01 busted out loud when ben said,"Karate Chop" 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
That stab at 22:03 is actually brutal the way they shot it.. these videos are amazing. I could watch hours of them
Kudos to you, Ben! It is a joy to see you all support each other's endeavors. Excellent work VLDL !
How to kill crestfallen knight without overwhelming damage: Parry, that’s it, just parry him like 10 times until he dies
I can’t wait for season 3. I really hope Ben gets good at it all, only to then start at the bottom again with the DLC.
There is no bottom after you git gud. Only the longing for the days when you were once challenged.
@@jerrysmith2349 I used to think that...until I took my heavy armor hero to the new game + Four Kings. Yea...he is stuck there
@@Ironica82 Yeah I had the same problem in my third playthrough. Took me ages to beat them.
@@Ironica82 Really? But just poising through with heavy armour and a two-handed weapon is the best way to beat 4 kings. Stick fire etc. on your weapon, run in with full Havels or something similar, and just start swinging away. Heal up between kings.
@@GoldenSunAlex It was due to my weapon of choice being slow and not being able to run to the next one in time to kill him before the next one appears. 4 Kings has a brutal amount of HP in NG+ and I just wasnt fast enough to dead with it.
Solaire's speech at the end was genuinely moving.
I love this lmao and Solaire is a guy we need in the game lmao
22:53 this is a gold conversation and solaire's speach is just beautiful
