Imagine vandalizing the grave of a girl who was physically abused, raped, and tortured by your son because you think that SHE is the reason his life went to shit. It's definitely not because of all the horrible shit he did to her, right?
Tragic
Those types of mothers are bigger monsters than their kids sometimes, she is a monster and she created a monster. And those bastards should have rotted in jail, don't care if they were underaged
Apparently victim blaming is a huge issue in Japan, it happens even when for example, someone who's a victim of bullying told on their bully and got them in trouble
Especially if the bully is someone popular or had good grades
Families of the bullies would blame the victim of the bullying for ruining their kid's future even tho that kid was making the victim's life hell or could've possibly drove them to suicide
Tho that's from what I've read or seen online when they cover such cases, it's a common thing that's present in most of them

The fact that people not only kidnapped a teenage girl, but raped, tortured and eventually killed her over the course of 40 days, and bragged about it is horrifying. And they felt no remorse. There is no punishment cruel enough for such people.
@Callistus Ngindang what the fuck?? i hope ur trolling but if ur being serious seek help.
@Callistus Ngindang .... context? like they are saying that any punishmeent is not enough for those scums, not that they dont need punishment. read better
@Callistus Ngindang "no punishment cruel enough"... that's different than "they shouldn't be punished". It just means the punishment can't fit the crime, but that doesn't mean those four wouldn't have been worthy of the death sentence.
@Callistus Ngindang they are saying that no punishment is enough to make them feel that what they did is wrong enough to give the criminals that punishment.

In my country when a little girl got raped murdered by an adult man in my village. Our people protested until that bastard was taken from police and then was butchered in front of the girl's father. Sometimes morals are more than justice

One of the criminal boys actually cried about his actions...
“I am so angry at myself for being stupid enough to accidentally reveal my own crime.” He actually said this.
This boy was like Issei Sagawa level of evil, later proudly proclaiming the “fun” he had while torturing Junko. That’s what he reminds me of.
To clarify:
While studying in Paris in 1981, Sagawa liked a dutch woman taller than him (his fetish, she was 178cm and he was 145cm) and so he took a gun and shot her head off and started to violate her corpse and eat it too. This was a huge news all over Europe back then and Asians were collectively suspected of wanting to eat white women. (Records show he was going to eat a German woman studying in Japan 10 years prior, but they just thought he was in her room for rape, not cannibalism and they gave the victim money to acquit her accusation). Then he got scott free pleading insanity, and when he got back in Japan he became a millionaire selling his book about the experience.
The Japanese publisher was thrilled to have the rights to this book, and the Japanese populace bought it in droves.
Not even other cannibals around the world publicly paraded their crimes in oublic, and tried to make money off of it. This is what set Sagawa apart from others.

@@chicade4810 bro… it’s not that fucking difficult. hearing how an innocent person, a teenage school girl, was victimized in the absolute worst way possible, people want to extend her a little bit of the respect and dignity she was cruelly deprived of. a way of doing that is trying to think of junko futura as the person she was, before those boys interfered with her life, and not focusing on the worst thing that ever happened to her. i know you think that’s “narcissistic” but it’s not. it’s mourning behavior

Now can we just not see Japan as this perfect country?? It's just as shady as any country possible. The fact their law justice has so much loopholes allowing criminals to be free.
For example,Issei Sagawa the infamous cannibal killer is not only free but also a celebrity icon, and using his victim's death as his whole merch.
For the case of Issei Sagawa this is different. He was judged non-responsible of his acts by psychiatrists in france (murder happened here). When transfered in Japan, psychiatrist thought he was conscious and need to be judged again. However because of previous "sentence" in France, it was against International Right to make him go to court in Japan. So i's more international right loophole here. But yeah the fact he was treated like a mediocre celebrity with the consultant thing on serial killer case later is awful.
japan has always had a no respect for women when it comes to stalking and sexual crimes, like the one that raped, killed, and ATE a woman in france and returned but never got charged cause of a loophole and is still celebrated TODAY. like i don't care if there was a legal loophole or whatever, someone needs to put people like that CANNIBAL RAPIST in prison no matter what! it's up to women to get that done because when have people on top ever just gave other's power? no, it has to be taken

Out of any case I’ve seen, I never seen a case like this that gets me disgusted and also enraged at the same time.
And what gets me even more mad is that Junko actually would of been saved if the Police actually checked everything in the house.
Hopefully karma gets them what’s coming.

You know the quote "you can't keep them in the dark for life" meaning no matter what you do they will learn and know what's happening in the world, the quote suits you, this is probably the first time you are witnessing cruel things like this I can tell this because how overwhelmed your emotion are, it's like you don't what to say but anger, the world is slowly getting revealed to you
I myself have been revealed to this kind of cruel for a long time, I'm starting to accept that this is natural, I'm not saying that this is not horrible, is it horrible and I want justice for her, all I'm saying is that I don't have the power to stop this that's why I'm starting to accept it as natural, even when I have the power, I can't still stop this because every human including you can be this cruel/evil or even worse, that's why there is no permanent way to stop this, it is almost like it's part of us.
"Humans are more demonic than animals" sure but If we are animals also we wouldn't call other animal like that because we don't know what's evil and good is, we don't know what's right or wrong if we are animals, our emotion/feeling don't get overwhelmed in matter of fact we probably don't have emotion if we are animals, what we only probably have is instinct
Look I'm not saying that this isn't bad, it is bad, I sympathize for the girl. It probably doesn't feel right to you for me to say that this is natural, i know, it doesn't feel right to me either to say this, because in my country this type of cases are common, it was so common that it didn't shock me that much compare when the first time I saw it and thought every killer do this to hide the body. There is this news in my country about this student in college paternity, in order to join the paternity or brotherhood you will enter an initiation, the initiation compose of beating you with a wood or something, i didn't know exactly what it is their using but this student can't handle the initiation, he died while he's in the middle of it, the members of the paternity decided to cement him to the ground to hide his body, what sad about this is that his brother is waiting for him to graduate college so he can a have job but it break his heart knowing that he is dead before he can even graduate.
The funny thing about karma is that we don't fully understand it. Although karma means "action" and is a consequence of that... whose to say karma returns to us in this lifetime? What if karma follows us into another life where we are born "innocent" only to receive exactly what we dealt in a past life? We all reap what we sew. The question is when.

44 Days Of Hell makes me mad. How lightly the perpetrators got off. The incompetence of the police who were most likely paid off or didn’t want to get involved. The only reason the body was even found was by luck. Many people visited the place where she was being held to do awful things to her, none of them came forward to report what was going on. The perpetrators were tried as juveniles, there is no way after all the demonic crimes they did they should have been tried as juveniles.
She was failed by humanity, failed by everything and everyone around her

One thing that got me pissed as hell from this case was the fact that one of the perpetrators' mum blamed the poor girl for his life being ruined. Absolutely abhorrent stuff.

@@AJGress How is the manga messed up and disrespectful? What you're not allowed to take inspiration from real life events? Last time I checked every author does that. There's nothing wrong with taking inspiration of a real life event and writing your own story. And the story isn't even exactly the same. She survives at the end, an attacker was remorseful, they added a twin, etc. All things that weren't the case with the real story. And did the author even mention the real life event at all or that that this manga was based off of it? Even though it obviously is, if he didn't mention it and changed up the story like this then I don't get how any of this is disrespectful. I am Japanese. I believe that this terrible incident must be passed down to posterity. The regret of the victims and their bereaved families is immeasurable. It is a shameful fact that the perpetrators of this incident are now living in our country without much punishment under the Juvenile Law.
People from overseas say that "Japanese people are kind," but the penalties for criminals are just as kind. In Japan, there is still a strong belief that 'it is beautiful for the victim to endure in silence,' and overwhelmingly, the perpetrator gains for what the victim loses. (Among other things, the crime of sexual crimes is light.)
It is truly shameful and shameful for a country, but Japan is a very kind country for perpetrators, who cannot inflict the same amount of hurt on the perpetrators as they do on the victims. This may be due to the fact that almost all judicial and political decisions are made by elderly men (almost no women).
It should definitely never be forgotten. But media being created about it should treat it from a place of empathy and respect for junko and her family. That awful manga , was very much not it and it's existance is very disrespectful to that poor girl's memory. I swear to fucking god, the boys make me so mad. Same with the police officers! They only have 7-10 years of jail time, what the fuck popo's? Why not give them death time? Why?
Something Aki didn’t mention and that is not clearly mentioned on Wikipedia was that these boys had a connection to the yakuza that were protecting them and they made junko call her house to tell them that she is safe and that she has escaped to live with her new boyfriend, they threatened that if she didn’t do that, the yakuza would murder her entire family, she was naive and agreed. Her father on hearing this, stopped searching for her, didn’t inform the police of her location even though he knew where she was and he cut her off for the shameless act of escaping to live with her boyfriend, neighbours kept telling the family what they think was going on but her family was like she deserves it for escaping. When the police actually showed up that one time that aki mentioned, it was the neighbours who called them, not her parents even though they knew her whereabouts all that time. When, she was finally found, the yakuza had a hand in their easy sentencing along with the laid back attitude of her parents. Her parents are probably rotting in hell now, experiencing every single form of torture imaginable.

Honestly the thing that got me out of my funk after reading about it was realizing how strong Junko was as a person.
1- Everyone in her school was afraid of the classmate who eventually kidnapped her because they knew he had ties to the Yakuza, but Junko still had the courage to turn him down.
2- That girl was put through hell and back, there was not a part of her body that was not violated or beaten, and yet her determination to live was honestly astounding: they locked her out on the balcony during winter several times and yet she did not jump, she would challenge them and tell them to ‘kill her and get it over with already’, even when they eventually killed her it was over a game of Mah-jong that she won. Which sounds like a weird thing to mention but if you think about it, she could’ve thrown the match to appease her captors but Junko was still willing to defy them with any agency she had.
3- While Junko was being horrifyingly abused, she still tried to escape her prison instead of giving in to her despair. She even tried pleading with the family of one of her own captors when she met them instead of playing it safe in hopes of appeasing them.
They may have abused Junko’s body, but her spirit and mind remained unbroken and determined. She died with her pride and her strength of spirit intact which honestly speaks volumes of the character of a girl who was only 16 at a time. As for her captors, they might have gotten away from the justice system but they will get what’s coming to them, if not in this life then the next. And every debt they owe Junko and their other victims will be repaid in full.
My advice to you is to focus on Junko’s strength in facing her horrible situation instead of her captors’ cruelty, you will surely find inspiration instead of just a reason to be sad.

There is a special place in the hell not just for criminals who did this to Junko, but also for that mother of one of these monsters, who was blaming Junko for her son's ruined life.
We had a similar incident in Pakistan this year. Guy calls his ex-girl friend to his house under some pretext and locks her up. The servants and neighbours ignore her screams, his sister locked herself in her room and put on headphones. His parents call up a mental facility where doctors try to convince him to give up the girl. No one calls the police. Eventually after 4 days, the girls father with the police reaches the guys house. the police break in and find the guy playing with the girl's head like a football, her mutilated body in the kitchen. The police have arrested the guy, guards, servant and the mental health facility is under investigation. This guy belongs to one of the biggest tycoon families of pakistan. There is a huge protest underway. lets see how it develops. The guy tried to escape to US or UK, however his passports have been sealed and he is on no fly list and both countries have refused admission to him.

yeah there were many officials who were to said to have fainted over the brutality. You may read cool showmen manga about delinquents and all but delinquent culture in Japan was a pretty big issue, as this was one of the most vicious tales of delinquency. Usually (like in this case) the delinquents had ties to yakuza as well. It’s terribly regrettable about this case, and how the punishment was not more severe. The only way I can think about it is that I’m thankful that delinquency is wayyy less prominent in Japan, and the yakuza are also weaker in influence.
There's a manga that's based on a murderer, created by said murderer. The manga is called "Sagawa-san," and it's created by Issei Sagawa. It's about the time where he met a woman in France during the 80s, and he decides to kill her. The manga is also very graphic, as it also contains subjects like cannibalism and n3cr0phi1i4. Since Sagawa killed her, he was sent back to Japan, and was sentenced to prison for 2 years, and he still roams free in that country.
