    This is the most amazing historical location. This is definitely on my list of "must" see places. Christina went there when she was just a teenager, and simply loved every minute. Your video brought back all of her memories. Awesome video my friends. Looking forward to Part 2.

    Don't you just love tours that the docents dress in the time period that they are speaking on. She knew her stuff. There really was a large number of weapons on the wall. .All the rooms were just gorgeous. Loved the dining room with the table set. The outdoor area was gorgeous too. The cellar was interesting. Oh my word, the church was just stunning too. Lots of people around to help pass on the information. Nice.

    We love Colonial Williamsburg! It has been 2 or 3 years since we last went. Your video makes me want to go back. I am glad you all got to experience this lovely place on your trip to Virginia! This is such a great living museum. They really do a great job there of communicating what life was like in the colonial period here. Thanks for sharing your trip!

    Enjoyed seeing the first part of your visit to Williamsburg, Terri and Keith. Wonderful place with so much history! Had a feeling you may have stopped there. Love the volunteers explaining some of the history and re-enactors. You can really imagine what it would have been like back in the day. Lovely young lady (church member?) explaining the church history. Beautiful historic church too! Thanks so much for the tour.

      We’re not sure if she is a member of that church but she sure knew her history. You could tell that she loved telling the history to all the visitors who came in. Williamsburg is a place rich in history for sure! Have a blessed weekend Dave & Kathy! We appreciate you watching our videos 🤗

    Merchants Square is beautiful during the holidays ,the way they decorate and light the place. Kind of gives you a feel for the time period back then. Great video. Thanks. Steve

    Beds in stately homes, tourist homes in the uk have the canopies so they go back to the era from here

      Yes! The early settlers in the US came here from England 👍

  • @Myover50fashionlife

    Historically over here they drank beer or ale as it was clean and without germs

    • @RetiredLovingIt
      @RetiredLovingIt  Рік тому +1

      Probably what they make in the old time scullery is safe but with all the food regulations in the US in order to provide it to the public they have to make it in an official brewery. Not sure what they do with the ale they make in the scullery maybe they can drink it, just can’t sell it 🤷‍♀️
