The last one wasn’t a powerful car or even a beauty queen but I guarantee whatever you drive can’t outhandle it.

0:42 seems to be they are trying different engine combos. Some probably have stock base model v8's and some top level performance ferrari style v8.

I like the clip for 44sec in. Sounds awesome. The car also looks good. It seems like they were taking it easy, but they are testing. In one clip, where they are doing launches, the front did lift pretty good, not much tire noise in that clip if at all. Sometimes it is difficult in a video to tell how fast something is.

Same engine probably yes, NA maybe or maybe not, also i belive race car don't use cats so the exhaust flames must be for that and a ECM tune
@@batialexis9339 I thought it was a tune at first too, but even the race tuned c7.r is a ton deeper and sounds more similar to its production version than this c8.r does. It could be a 5.3 V8 or a twin turbo 6 cylinder, but it just sounds too far off the current racing 6.2 NA

Unfortunately the sounds I have been hearing. In person and in many of the clips made available on various media platforms are not very good. What I like to call Droney bologna. Remember when everyone was blown away by how sexy and different the Viper was over it's first several years of production? Remember how it sounded? Like a juiced up vacuum cleaner. Yeah. I sure as heck hope it sounds sexier than what we've been hearing when it's finally revealed.

The C7.R kicked their asses for 4 years until balance of performance rules beat them down a bit. And the C6.R and C5.R also did before that. Corvette has a great racing program, i hope this mid engine car doesn’t ruin it.
