A real Corvette has a front-engine. The older C7 Grand Sport with 460 HP was 2 seconds faster on the Nurburgring than the brandnew C8 with 500 HP! Says all. It's just a hype about a mid-engine car, which is much more unstable in curves than the older generations with transaxle architecture. The racecar C8.R doesn't convince either so far. All together: I look critically at this new car. It is not a competitor for a Ferrari or Lambo and so far not better than the previous generations Corvettes.

u guys need to wait for aftermarket exhausts. my camaro ss with stock exhaust was quiet as hell. with my aftermarket system it sounds like an absolute monster.

Need to add an after market exhaust system and an X pipe. My 2015 Z06 with Corsa X pipe and Borla Atak exhaust sounds far more aggressive than this C8.

The black one looks better, cuz there's not as much contrast between the too high up taillights, the too boxy rear end and the out of place looking outlets...It needs some tweaking, but any how, other than that, it looks sweet and sounds classic, GM 6.2 L V8 stellar !!

It will be nice to see if these stay have issues. I bet the joy of the car will outweigh the problems of the first year models. I will wait for a CPO one if they are reliable and wait until a later debugged year if they are not.
Interesting to see how plain black looks on the C8 (second most popular color for C7) and how good Seebring Orange looks (least most popular C7 color with 0.8% uptake).

Bs, the c8 is ugly and just a big disappointment to me. I expected it to be something totally different from this.

The exhaust should've stayed in the middle, I would've liked it alot more, I hope the Grand sport, Z06, and Zr1 are different from the base coupe/convertible, and of a course, with a louder rev. Even a C7 sounds louder then that.

I really wish they would have grabbed one off of a lot with the sticker still in the window so we know they didn't bring one from the factory that they had messed with.

The exhaust sound mild not as deep as the previous years. The 2018 Stingray stock exhaust sounded deeper more louder and of course the 2018 and before ZO6 and ZR1 sounded like a real muscle car. Their exhaust sounds real deep. The 2020 Vette exhaust sounds to mild. Need to upgrade the exhaust

It's a GM with a GM v8 so yeh it would sound like that .I personally dont really like the look of it ,may grow on me though , bit to grand theft auto looking. I think it makes a lot more sense than a fucking ferrari though . I despise ferraris . Over priced over hyped trash .

It was awesome a couple weeks ago it’s getting old and it’s not even for sale yet. There’s going to be too many on the road so naturally it will be like seeing a Camry on the road.
Videos of this car are getting old, not the car. It has to be seen in person several times on the road or parking lots.
As someone who has always liked supercars but disliked their high pitched squealy exhaust note in favor of the gruff American v8 sound, this is truly perfect
