Hey everyone, thanks for checking out my video on the Spark 2. A few things, to record this video I used the stereo output on the back of the unit directly into my audio interface so what you’re hearing is the Sparks ability as a preamp/modeler. Also for some reason only the rhythm tone was showing up on the cloud, I just reuploaded everything and now they’re there, these are the same 4 tones I used to record this video, enjoy!
Did you buy it yet ? I got it recently and I love it =) It makes me pick up my guitar everyday and just in a fast and easy way start playing stuff. I love to use the looper to come up with riffs and record them to remember in a easy and quick way, its more of a tool than just a basic amp which I love, nobody else makes products like this especially with this amazing app. Leaps and leaps ahead of any other manufacturer, I bet they sell a ton of these.
What did you think of it ? I love it and I have even used it live for a small show, it just managed to be enough sound with drums and rest of the band for 80 ppl watching in a small room :D I am going to buy the Positive Grid Cab to complement the Spark 2 though, to make it a top with a cab to be able to push a lot more volume/power on bigger live shows. Great stuff. The foot switch for the Spark 2 worked like a charm as well.
Old spark got lots of bass , new 2 gets rid of great portion of that sound we all complained about and the FRFR Spark Cab with Spark 2 game changer I’d say
Too bad their support doesn’t seem to do much. I had the original preorder and got 0 help when needed. I even commented on an Instagram post and followed up sayin I wasn’t getting any help with issues and they just like the comment.
@positivegrid Hey PG, it's all cool and nice, but please show us tone preset. How can we know that it's been recorded using Spark 2 instead of some plugins.
Hey @positivegrid how am I supposes to understand how this actually sounds with 7 string guitar when its not camera sound but sound recorded via daw? are you promoting spark as an interface? because in this video its used as an audio interface lol
Spark 2 can be used as an interface with a USB-C connection. This video focuses on the improved HD tone engine powered by Sonic IQ Computational Audio.
simple. you go to a store. try it yourself. if you really want to know how it sounds in the room and if it really good enough for your tastes or not. no amount of review videos will satisfy your curiosity enough or could answer how it sounds no matter how sophisticated the mic is...

And i would really like to try it live before buying because they dont ship to my country nor will shops in my countr have it in stock. Ill need to order it from thomann and then use 3d party delivery to ship to my country. And even in Europe market they will be in stock mid September-October. If PG shipped worldwide i would preorder it but they don’t.
followed this link from the Spark website through a sales email... and ended up watching some fella playing an open B string for seven minutes... not entirely convinced of the need for this amp based on this sales pitch...
and how are u recording this? with that ridiculous integrated interface? it´s chinese junk with american label ... f u all, returning this shit today ... all software bugged, sound like a can ...

The reason why I liked periphery its because their instrumental sounded like an adventure in games

Am a huge periphery fan. This is a terrible choice for a song to sell "tone". Song's amazing, but the tone isn't the reason..
