I give PG kudos for trying to keep up with all of us guitar nuts in the first place. They have done great
I know, right?
Ive been in the market for a small amp. I think I'm gonna get one of these. I love the looping, love the pre-sets, love the tech with phone, love the looks, the strap, the price. I'm sold.
I think you’ll dig it! If you use my link it helps the channel ☺️
This seems like a great first amp for someone like me. I’m in my 30s and started playing with an acoustic when I was a teenager. I never had any kind of formal training, never studied any real theory, I was always primarily a singer, so I just learned enough guitar to be able to back up the vocals. Now I’m getting into electric guitars for the first time, and I’m planning to really try and wipe my brain of everything I know and start from scratch and learn everything the right way. This seems like such a great option to give me a lot of versatility while I’m learning, especially since I know next to nothing about effects pedals or different amps or any of that electric guitar stuff. Thanks for the review!
Awesome! Yup, I think you summed it up quite well. If I had this when I was first learning to play? Oh man, things would’ve been a lot different. Thank you for the kind words, and your support!
This was a great review. Thank you
Thank you for the kind words! And thanks for watching 💯
I just got my spark 40 last year cool that there is a new one!
And really, the 40 is still a great amp! Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Really good review. Thanks mate
Thank you so much!
The Spark 2 is awesome! There is a play-along feature that is really fun and the tones are so great. The only thing is the on/off switch - I wish it toggled and latched on/off because you always have to press it to turn it on. I have a smart plug that is useless because of this feature. Also the Line-Out does cut out the speaker - wish there was an option to NOT have it do that. But wow what a great amp overall
Yea, I've seen some unhappy about that, but I think they might've had to do it this way because of the overall electronics and functionality being used. I'm no engineer, but I'm guessing that's what it's all about. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Great app to bring new kids to play guitar! 👍
Great video too!
Heck yea! This would’ve been life changing for me as a kid. I made due with heat I had, but this? And it’s great for all guitarists if you ask me. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Very cool! Sounds great.
Thank you! Appreciate you watching and commenting 💯
Wow pinball guitar 😀
Exactly! They’re “arcade style” kill switches 🤘🏻Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
I’m coming from the 40, shame on positive grid for getting rid of the power switch 😡
I know that makes a lot of people upset. Probably had to because of new features, but I can’t be sure. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Can I use this with a bass as well?
According to Positive Grid and people in the Facebook group, yes. I haven’t tested that for some reason (I usually only play bass when recording), but it’s said that it does so well. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
@@VaporTrailChannel Thanks.
I'm returning Spark 2 because it's awful. (my first Positive Grid item purchased) Awful because their support is none existent other than click this. No live chat. No phone number.
Bluetooth won't connect no matter what I do. PC won't open their firmware no matter what I do. These problems only relate to Positive Grid. I can run all these things for all my other electronics. Not sure why their phone app can't be hardwired via included USB C cable? DON"T BUY IT! imo
Man...that sounds like a lot of issues going on. These days I find that you're going to get a lot better response from companies if you hit them up on social media. Direct message them on Instagram or Facebook, and you'll likely get a response much faster. And if they don't respond, you can start tagging them in posts in groups and what-not and they'll usually get right with you.
That said, the issues you're having sound more like an issue with your existing gear (phone / computer). I don't know what you're using, but if they're more recent phone/computer, you shouldn't have any issue. And even if they're newer items, you may still have to do a little tweaking in your settings on the device(s). That's sorta part of using new tech.
Either way, I'm sorry you're not having the same experience as I am. It always sucks when you get something you're really looking forward to, only to not have it work...or work with your existing gear. It can be such a let-down.
Before you return it, I would maybe join one of the Spark facebook groups and ask members, as well as contacting them on social media.
Thank you for watching!
@@VaporTrailChannel I'm not on socials.
@@nacuda9totally get that. Unfortunately, that’s how most companies work these days. Socialsvv are pretty much their go to. Even so, they should respond to emails 🤔
@@VaporTrailChannel we want to get product support not start a social campaign
I find positive grid support non-existent or not helpful
to many other options out there now to buy products from people who don't care about you
I totally agree!
buy from people who care about their customers and you can use your pc ugh .I'm so tired of no AC plug-in electronics smartphone-only apps. these companies are out of touch with their base
