- Magnesium is called 'the relaxation mineral', learn about my personal magnesium supplement regimen.
About me: I graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine and am board-certified in internal medicine. After developing fibromyalgia in medical school I was able to find integrative treatments that helped me feel much better. I share my complete treatment approach in my book The FibroManual amzn.to/3Uql7wg
In my videos I hope to inspire everyone dealing with #fibromyalgia to remember they are #fibrofierce!

Would love the chocolate but it tends to be constipating for me. I had taken Magnesium 400mg for over 15 years and it really helps when I have a bad flare. I had to stop for a while when I was on a certain antibiotic. A bad flare for me also keeps me constipated and I have difficulty urinating.. Mag Glycinate is what some functional medicine doctors like since they say it may halp with depression. I have found that not the case for me.Thanks for all that you do to help others.
I take magnesium every day. I find it helps with muscle cramping. If I run out it’s here come the cramps and they can be bad!! I don’t take citrate cuz I have IBS with diarrhea. Thank You though for the advice on the magnesium glycinate!! I will definitely purchase!!!❤
Magnesium glycerinate is my favorite! And Mag citrate is definitely not a good idea with IBD with .
Citrate is horrible
How much magnesium?
It varies but for me I take somewhere between 400-600 mg of magnesium nightly.
Yay! I take Epsom salts baths 1 time a week and this is my New Year’s resolution. I take different kinds of magnesium, depending on bowel movements. For example, I have a kind of magnesium I take if I’m having diarrhea and a kind if I need to have a bowel movement that way everything balances out :-) I absolutely love magnesium and it’s definitely one of the top supplements for fibromyalgia.
Just received your fibromyalgia manual book today am looking forward to reading it
I hope you find my book helpful!
Chocolate! No wonder I always need my dark chocolate! I am ordering supplements right away! 😊❤
Thank you for info. I appreciate your videos very much.
Really having a difficult time finding a Dr. at Oakland Kaiser PC in CA ❤ who understands Fibromyalgia patient like myself.
My severe form of CFS and Fibromyalgia was triggered by Guillan Barre Syndrome in 2009.
It's been a very long painful recovery. I'm grateful for any suggestions.
Thank you ❤
Big huge hug from England! ❤
@yolandaaranda653
Kaiser in Richmond for me until four years ago. They messed me up good there. I wouldn’t stay at Kaiser if I were you. Hugs
Awwh, big hug right back at ya in England!
It can be SO hard to find a doctor knowledgable about fibromyalgia, and even harder if you have other complicating factors like CFS. Probably not going to find this within Kaiser system, but an integrative doctor would be so much more helpful. Sending you healing energy.
Oh the chocolate cravings make perfect sense now. I’m definitely going to pay more attention to them. Thank you for this information. It is so helpful. ❤️
What do you think about magnesium creams
I love magnesium creams, can be a great topical muscle relaxant . Great to apply to legs and feet before bed if you struggle with restless legs or muscle cramps.
No mention of Magnesium Malate? Can use suggest dosage and what time of day to take it?
I will share more content soon going over magnesium in more depth. I don’t generally recommend magnesium malate since it tends to upset the GI tract in some folks. But other than that it is a good form of magnesium!
Good night sleep well
What are your thoughts on magnesium L threonate?
Magnesium l-threonate is a good option too. It is the type of magnesium that crosses the blood brain barrier most effectively. However some of my patients have found it stimulating so it is best taken during the day. It is also the most expensive type of magnesium. I still prefer magnesium glycerinate at bedtime overall.
My Mg blood level is always deficient.
Magnesium BIGLYCINATE (chelate buffered)
"BioShwartz"
Is working really well. It's in Tiny capsules! ❤
Thank you!
