Rule of thumb is top or bottom you need at least the width of the stairs as landing. Ie stairs are 760 so need least that as a landing. Bottom window glass has been changed to toughen glass to comply with

@@andrewdavies-jones7492 the bathroom would need to move to the other side and would eat up more of the usable bedroom.
