For too expensive for gimmicky ammo. For $200 I could load over 400 rounds of .308 with Hornady 168gr match bullets that shoot 1/4 minute groups out of my rifle. And after I shoot them I can reload the brass again... and again. As my own CEO I can write myself a letter telling me how good the ammo is and how the quality control is top notch just to impress myself. In fact, I'm so impressed with me, that I think I'll go out and shoot this weekend if for no other reason than smug satisfaction with myself.

My friend has some of these but they are more translucent clear. They make these here in Mississippi or Louisiana he said. He told me this was experimental ammo for military for weight reduction. On a reloading standpoint he said they don’t need trimming or sizing. I’m trying to get some hulls for my own testing. I’ll keep everyone updated and possibly make a video time lapsed of how they perform reloading velocity measurements etc

Get a pop up gazebo for your hundred yard demos, will shade your noggin and cut down on glare.
Your Ruger has a 1:10 twist, which should be adequate for that bullet, but their results were with a 1:8 twist and possibly a very heavy barrel. At the price charged, each bullet should be hand weighed, hand checked for concentricity, and hand loaded with a twice weighed powder charge.

I can not understand how any factory round can give you accuracy in so a many rifles. I have been reloading for 40 years and I am anal about reloading to make all my rounds in my rifle a one ragged hole at 100 yards then the only fault in the field will be my doing not bullets guns or equipment. So I can take my perfect loads to a buddies rifle same brand age and scope and it will not shoot the same . I will remove 1 or 2 pieces of powder to stay consistent. So how can any company offer a bullet load for accuracy in different rifles?

@@damonthomas8955 Yes sir you are wrong about that, when working up a load for accuracy, you ladder them starting point then half grain for another set and so on so you cover maybe 3 or 4 grain range in powder but have a set of 3 to 5 bullets loaded for each half grain increment . Then you take these all to the range, and shoot each set at a target and you can find some .5 moa or 3.5 " groups within 3 grains of powder. So you take the two closest to each other and split the grain charge again to tighten the groups. Then fine tune for best accuracy. A grain of powder will not make much difference in speed, but will in accuracy. Just like that one bullet they are offering might not work in a gun at all they can be finicky , yet shoot great in another. I am sure you have used lots of ammunition off the shelf before but found one that gives you the best accuracy and performs the way you need it too. you can see here he can shoot 6 different types of ammunition in same rifle and some are good some are terrible

Plastic can replace low volume shooting, but brass conducts heat out of the weapon and helps cooling. So plastic won't work well for military purposes, but aught to work well for low volume shooting.

Bought some plastic cases ammo (.223) maybe 15 years ago, was designed for military usage, lighter, a soldier can carry more ammo. Did not get military contract.
Ammo shot well, nothing spectacular, but was fine as ball ammo.
Not for use in fluted chambers. Don't remember brand, but may be same company.

If you have an M1A, or know someone who does, if you get the chance definitely use a couple of those in one. M1A's have a problem with heat, and these are supposed to have insulators, so it might be THE round to use in M1A's.

It looks like plastic casings may be the future of bullet casings. I say this because it looks like they are packaging and presenting plastic casings as if it were something special to pay extra for. Plastic has got to be cheaper for the manufacturer than brass, or steel, but they'll want us to pay the same amount, or more. That ammo box looks like my wife's make-up boxes when she comes home from the mall.
