Been watching your stuff for a few years. Gets better and better. Your choice of songs is Great ! Obscure tunes !!! Love it. Polished player, very versatile ! Great Job Tate. Keep it up !
Thanks Earl! I've debated changing the heads on this kit, but I'm liking to vibe I've got so far. Maybe I'll put on some coated heads for future Chicago covers...
The in-ears can get rid of a lot of outside noise, and I don't have to turn them up super loud once I get the right balance of hearing my drums and the recording I'm playing to!
A talented fellow like you, certainly "Can buy me a thrill' (lol...). ♪ Heck, you nailed a quite complex one indeed. (Great, challenging, and fun song for drummers). You undeniably did your homework as usual. (respect). ♪ Peace always, amigo ;^)♪ .
Kind of disappointed here, Tate. I feel like Neil Peart is a second-rate prog drummer, (and prog-rock was all he could play), who already gets way, WAY too much praise from intermediate drummers and hobbyists. I wouldn't have guessed that you'd be on that bandwagon. Great song, though.
Peart does cop a lot of flack. But I don't agree with it. You can see Tate is working hard so really don't understand why your knocking him for it. Disappointed?
@@thetonetosser I guess because I resent the cult of Neil Peart. The guy was not a great player, and yet there's this obsession on social media with the idea he was not only a great player, but "the best ever," as of such a thing exists. I just didn't see Tate supporting that whole trend.
That was friggin excellent
Thanks!
Damn! From the grace notes of Steely Dan to the thunderous tom-pounding of Rush ....you can nail it down !!! Well done Tate.
Thanks!

In 15+years on UA-cam, I’ve never left a comment. But I must say, that is absolutely brilliant 👏👏
Thanks James!
Simply outstanding!
Beautiful..... and so clean!!!!
Thanks Bruce!
I can’t believe it took me this long to find that one. Beautifully done. So hard to be clean with all the intricacies involved. Great stuff
Appreciate it!
One of my favourite Rush numbers. Superb delivery man. Respect.
Thank you!
Those are a lot of grooves and chops to duplicate. Again, you nailed a difficult song most pro’s couldn’t just bang out. Bravo Tate!
Thanks!
Spot On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great drumming Tate! Love the drum kit too! It sounds great even with the old heads! You are killing it man! 👍🏻🤘🏻😊

Bravo! Really amazing. Great sound and the playing is spot on. Which is why I will probably never cover a Rush tune.
Appreciate it Jim!
Nice! Love the sound of those concert toms!

Great job Tate! Covering a tune by the great Neil Peart is not an easy task and you did it magnificently!! 🥁🥁🥁👍👍👍😀
Thanks Bob!
Your timing and fillage is perfect and your relaxed style makes it look so easy how do you not drown yourself out with those little buds ?

I will try that cause my beats aren’t enough was actually use brushes lol at least to get most parts down thank you Tate
Well done!
Thanks Terry!
