For all those who want to buy these but don't like that they're traditional polish due to drying time, I have a hack for you to dry your nail polish faster! This only works for nail polish, not gel. Anyways, get yourself a bowl of ice water. Apply the nail polish as usual, then dunk your nails into the ice water (be careful to avoid hitting ice chunks!) Hold your nails in there for around 60 seconds. It will cut your drying time down by at least half! I only recently got gel polish this last year, so I'm used to working with nail polish and tried this out one night cuz I didn't want to wait 20+ minutes for my nails to dry 😅 it really works though! Try it out and let me know what you think!
this was one of the old trick i tried back in the days before switching to gel, but unfortunately didn't do anything for me. i used to do just one thin coat of standard polish, but still if it looked dry and went to bed after 6 hours i still had to undo everything the morning after cause the surface would mimic the bed sheets or the hair, depending on what was on it during the night. I suppose it's a matter of the high humidity in my area 😥 luckily gel polishes never betrayed me
I think the formula maybe cannot be made into gels, because the one coat chrome formula (as I see it on HOLOTACO Tutorial), the chrome particle is seem like self leveling which allow the particle settle & lay flat during drying time. The particle lay flat is definitely mimicking how the chrome powder particle lay flat when rub on gel topcoat. So if the particle put in gel formula, due how fast 1 minute drying time of most gel base, it will not allow the particle laying flat in time, and if we apply thinly, it will not as opaque as the polish one.
Yes! Love love nail polish. Seeing gel all the time is nice but also not in my budget for both time and money. Polish is better personally. If i cant have polish id just slap on cheap stickers. Lol!
I have to ask this(cause I’m an old fart 😂😂) is this polish the same as the old late 70 early 80s “shiny” type where you have to make sure your careful about your bush stokes and making sure it’s dry etc or can you just slap it on or a combo. Of course it will show every little bump that’s the payback for super shine beauty. Just wondering. I love them all the same

It’s normal polish but you can just wait until it’s completely dry and then put a gel top coat over top to basically make it like a gel polish.
