    Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have just been making tee shirts using heat transfer vinyl for about 8 months. I don't have a Cameo, but I do have a Cricut. After watching your videos, you have motivated me to experiment with the decals. Because of a his video, I know at least how to charge.

    Hey, just got my Silhouette Cameo 3 for Xmas and I love it, and just finished watching this video. Well made presentation, dig the shade pulls and hand swipes, lol!! I did notice many questions about the price of the window decals, and though I haven't delved into your sales webinars and such as yet so I don't know if you've already gone over this there, but maybe you could mention that at an event where parents are already shelling out for their kids sports, the fact that you, or anyone with a cutter, is THERE and can make a personalized decal THERE and they didn't have to order online and wait 3 weeks because you were right THERE makes all the difference and they'll gladly fork over a higher price. Location and circumstance are important for people to pay more. Carry on!

      @@TheRhinestoneWorld Thanks, I'm not a business proper yet, just getting started on this adventure. I make pour paint art and am superimposing images onto my finished paintings before sealing them with epoxy resin. So I will call these people and see if they sell like one roll at a time. I sure hope so cause right now the standard is stretching my painting with just the one layer, I'm afraid if I do multiple layers it will destroy the painting completely. I'm really sorry to hear you don't carry it. You might want to consider having a few rolls in stock for people like myself? :) thanks

      4. Peel tape from window slowly from 1 side making sure decal sticks to window.
      5. If decals doesn't stick to window lay it back down and use a credit card to put pressure across the decal.

    • @anthonycastillo8489
      @anthonycastillo8489 6 років тому +12

      keep in mind etsy is typically people selling pre-made stickers of a specific design that they've made 50 of at a time so that's similar to him doing the bulk order pricing. also you have to pay shipping, wait for shipping and it's not a person to person interaction like this doing it for local teams, businesses and on the spot as well, plus building a relationship with companies and customers keeps them coming to you and keeping you as the first call instead of heading straight to the web to find it. relationship-relationship-relationship!!! do good work and stand by your brand and people will continue to support you. plus the margins are so good you can get more customers ordering 100 pc orders at even less, $3/$4 each and still make good money depending on the cost to cut, weed, apply transfer tape etc. the more bulk order repeat orders you can get, the better you can stay busy with a semi steady cash flow coming in I have an entry level cutter I just got that"s a bit more involved than the smaller cutters but I'm excited to get the money coming in and getting more customers as well.
      good luck!!

  • @Mr8otter
    @Mr8otter 5 років тому

    What vinyl cutting software are you using. I am venturing into this part of the industry? I have been selling promotional items, but I am tired of loosing money to those that do this type of work. On the Cameo vinyl cutter you are using what is the size of paper you are using. I bought one used and its old. I will only take about a 10" wide vinyl for cutting. I am loosing money with the excess that is lost.

    Thankyou for the motivation. I live in a very small town in South-Africa. Used my Cameo for scrap booking but now the crave is over and I don't use it. This opens a whole new door for me....hopefully! And can do with the extra income.

    I bought 100 decals for like $142 online, who is paying $455 for the same 100? wow, get in where you fit in I guess...how much that machine cost again?

      They are paying this price because each one is custom for their child or sport. The 100 you bought online were the same decal 100 times i'm sure correct?
