To increase your print size for the paper on the silhouette, you have to adjust the paper size in the print setting. Go to preferences, then change to 11×17 and the print size and cut size will automatically adjust in the software. Hope this helps.

No problem. It’s reality. Everything is never perfect in the beginning. A lot people only respect and want to see perfection then when they try it and it doesn’t come out perfect they blame everything else but themselves. Perfection comes practice and trying and not giving up. Thanks for understanding and appreciating that.

I ALWAYS use a cutting mat. Even with vinyl. It keeps it still. Btw I use place mats from dollar store so I can cut deep or twice (yes there is a setting called double pass) and don't worry about cutting through a $20 silhouette mat.

So true. It’s very important to show people the issues they are going to come across. Very valuable. That’s why I show it.
The determining factor that made me go with the cameo is (correct me if I’m wrong) their designing software lives online. The only way to design something new is to go online and log into their website and design. I want to do things in my own. I should always be locked into having to go to the companies website. What if there is no internet connection. I didn’t like that at all. Maybe they changed it now. Idk.

In the settings there are perfect settings to match everything you need. When searching for material type in keywords like printable’s, metallic, stretch and this will get you to the right settings. When laying down the image use wax paper and move it back-and-forth it will smooth out the image real good. Thank you for the video.

HI, I know this video is was made a while ago and you may know this by now...that particular paper is made for weeding and that why it didn't cut through. You can use transfer tape to lift image or use the scraper to lift it off the full sheet. They also have a opaque 3d that you can on both light or and dark. Enjoyed video.

Typical little hiccups that could happen and you fixed it up in real time. quick maintenance. appreciate that and not just skipping thru trying to sell a product you personally already had.
but I'm sold on the Cameo 4 I almost got a cricut and read that Cricut is basically the Apple of cutters lol.
and I'm a DBZ fan so when I seen the thumbnail of Goku I was aight let me peep.

Are you sublimating? What process is this? I’ve seen people sublimate on vinyl and then use the cameo to cut the vinyl. But I’ve never seen someone print onto transfer paper and cut it in the cameo.

Hey bro. This was really cool to watch. When I tried mine, after cutting it with thr vinyl cutter, peeling of the material from the illustration was the issue. Its like the blade did not cut it deep enough, I think I got the speed and the cut setting wrong

I'm having the same problem. I need to know how to trace then send it to the cameo. Do you have to mirror print

You should have used heat transfer paper to stick the image to then peel it off and stick it to the shirt :) but this was a good video!

Depends if it’s for light or dark . Light does ,dark doesn’t

Very informative. I'm still learning how to set the registration marks myself. You may just need to change the type of material setting or the passes since it did cut right. So up the passes. Also i use parchment paper to press my images and it will cause it to smooth out and its light weight.

Hi ! What printer would you recommend me if you want to print and cut. I use a lot of thick cardstock.

great video!! please explain to me why you needed to peel the image before pressing??

It's like a sticker, you can't stick a sticker without peeling the back off.... Same thing here, the image will not stick to the tee shirt if you don't peel the backing off first BUT don't do it the way he did it. Stick the image to heat transfer paper THEN peel the backing off and press.
