A big thanks to Karl for letting me showcase this really cool guitar! 🎸 What do you think of baritones, do you like the sound?

    Great video Chris, many thanks.
I'm afraid that I owe you an apology. There is a mistake in the paperwork that is in the case of the baritone. It says that the scale length is 25.5 inches, but it is actually 28.5 inches . Baritone guitars are usually at least 27 inches ( most standard guitars are between 24.75 and 25.5 inches), and some occasionally go up to 30 inches, but that is quite rare. I fully agree that baritone guitars are unique and fill a special place , generally not used as a main guitar, but maybe for someone, it will be .

Thanks for watching Karl, i'm really glad you liked the video! Not to worry, I'll make sure to amend in the description 👌🏻

It's a lovely sound although in an 'ensemble' one would have to be careful not to steal too much sonic space from the bass (unless that's the objective of course). Sounds heavenly with that modulation on it.

Thanks for watching Peter! Definitely an important consideration but I definitely feel there's room for both in a mix, it's just a case of making creative choices to stay out of the way. I also find that baritones can make traditional song arrangements much more unique where a bass may not even be necessary and you can explore completely fresh sonic ground which is an exciting thing for me.
Thanks so much, a bit of tremolo goes a long way in my opinion 👌🏻😊

If you haven't check out the fearless flyers! They do quite well with baritone and bass being together
