  • Join us as we spend another day in the life with Wisconsin elementary art teacher Sarah Krajewski (@artroomglitterfairy). Sarah shares engaging fiber project ideas for all grade levels, such as cardboard loom weavings, needle-felted breakfasts, paper plate weavings, felt pendants, and macramé rainbows. She also shows us how her students make and use sketchbooks and gives an epic classroom tour of her colorful displays, helpful stations, and cozy nooks.

    LOVED your video! Thanks so much for sharing! And your classroom... AMAZING!! I teach art at a small private school and my room is probably not even a quarter of the size of yours lol but nonetheless we creatives know how to make things work! I hope the rest of your school year wraps up wonderfully! Blessings, Sommer

      Yes! Sarah has a huge room but art teachers are the best at making what they have work for them and their students. Thank you for watching and commenting, Sommer!

    hello! do you have a lesson plan for the cord wrapped rainbow-? I see it is pretty self explanatory, but how thick is that cord- and are they glued on a white cardbd backing ? to keep them together? thanks! Hope you see this question. you are an amazing , organized and cool art teacher. !!!

      Thanks for watching, Brenda! We'll pass your question along to Sarah.

    • @theartofed
      @theartofed  Рік тому

      Brenda, the cord is about 1/2" thick and the rainbows are glued to paper backing (with the excess paper cut off.)

    How do you end the last color on each rainbow strand so there is no tape showing?

    • @theartofed
      @theartofed  11 місяців тому

      You can knot it and/or add a dot of glue!

      @quintanascreators5441 Yup! I see students once a week for an hour and Kinders twice a week for 30 mins each class.
