    I've been watching for about 6 months now and last week I steam cleaned my car seats. May need a couple more passes but I was very satisfied.

    The idea of clay mitts are great but the marring left behind is unfortunate if you are not polishing afterwards.....

    Can you please explain what you can and can't use super clean on? And the dilution ratios. I want to use super clean for basically everything dashboard, seat/leather, upholstery, carpet floor. Wheels. Is that a good idea?

      Great idea if your goal is to dry out the lubricants. There are gentle ways to do it.

    Do you dry your car before claying or do you get right into the claying after rinsing off your car??

    • @molliesdad4702
      @molliesdad4702 4 роки тому +3

      No need to dry after rinsing. Just begin the clay process but be sure to use a clay lubricant

    Can you do a hand wash & rinse then clay it and give it back to the customer or is it if you clay you must polish or wax it then give it to the customer.?

    • @RadarorLeo
      @RadarorLeo 5 років тому

      Patrick Guida if you’re going to clay it’s smart to use some sort of sealant so your work can be protected. I usually only clay if I know I’m gonna polish but sometimes you can get away with just a wax.

    • @Spiritcr1jsher

      Always polish . A clay bar will leave some small marks and sometimes a haze , especially on a dark color car.

      He used the car shampoo to clay it with the clay mitt. That's the process he showed in this video. He washed the car, then used more shampoo to use as a clay lube.

    I noticed that you left soap behind on the first rinse is that because you are going to wash more or should you try to get all soap before the next step?

    • @DetailGroove

      It depends. Since I was goign to clay with more soap, didn't really bother me

      Because you need a lubricant to Clay bar the car. Either lube or soapy water.

    I see half assing on this. It’s fine being fast as long as you’re getting every spot but I see skipped spots, claying in circles, and drying in circles which is a no no. Not really feeling that making scratches on purpose so that results look better smh
