Back when I was studying music in 2011, Dirty Loops had just started doing what was initially their thing, which was to cover pop songs in their extravagantly funky and jazzy style, and to this day, I still think those covers are some of their best work. Most of them are still available on their UA-cam channel.
Highly recommend going back to the beginning and checking out there covers. I obviously don't expect you to do a video for each of these, but most of them are quite short, and well worth your time. Here are the ones available in order of release from oldest to newest:
Just Dance (Lady Gaga)
Prude Girl (their take on Rihanna's Rude Boy)
Circus (Britney Spears, one of the best covers I have ever heard)
Baby (Justin Bieber)
Rolling in the deep (Adele)

Ta Féte (Stromae, this cover is mindblowingly good)

yeah, it was this song on the album when I looked down at my speedometer and realized this was not a speeding ticket, but reckless driving charge if I got caught... (I slowed down). A year later and I still get a heavy foot when this song comes up while driving.

Getting Tower of Power vibes with this one, love that upbeat funky sound. Also reminds me of the music from a very old PC game called Interstate 76. Possibly the funkiest game soundtrack ever made.

Interstate 76. Still have the audio cd that came with it. The band formed for that soundtrack was called bullmark iirc. It was awesome. I think it was Brain on the drums and Arion Salazar on bass

I feel like this is the most Cory Wong sounding song on the album. Heavily featuring the Hornheadz (formerly the Hornheads), deeply groovy Drums, bass, etc and that (sometimes frantic) energy of pure fun.
Cory Wong has easily become my most listened-to artists in the last couple of years. It helps that the dude produces full albums in the time it takes many artists to release a single :D.
If you wanna listen to some more Cory Wong I'd recommend a live version of st. paul ( ua-cam.com/video/gx7Krkf3t2k/v-deo.html should be timestamped, otherwise it's at 4:55 and the song titles are in the chapters). Pretty much all the artists in the extended Vulfpeck universe, like Cory Wong and Theo Katzman, etc. have this magical thing, where their live stuff usually sounds at least as good as the studio recordings.

This just rocks. Know what you mean about the neck getting out of whack bobbing along with this one. Hey a suggestion as Christmas is coming up. Consider reacting to Jacob Collier's rendition of: "The Christmas Song, Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire". I am not a big fan of Christmas music but this take is just a different beast all together. Best wishes.
