I’ve owned a Bullitt for two years and I’m interested him the Mach1 with the Tremec. Especially the Handling package trim with more aero and sticky tires and better wheels. I’m Not crazy about the styling though. Maybe in black or grey?
@@giveyouashot the mt82 is upgraded for 2020 but still sucks big time if you drive aggressively. I have a 2020 Bullitt #3612 (one of the last ones made) and the transmission is getting better with more miles on it but still needs lots of help. Down shifts are no problem it’s up thats the issue. There are several bolt on fixes available. Then there is the suspension,,,,,it too is set up more for comfort vs handling. If you always drive the speed limit then you are golden,,,,but if not,,,you will need upgrades immediately. Here too there are numerous bolt ons or replacement parts available depending on your need.
I had Bullitt 1631. It was a 2001 Mustang GT. I was a police officer in Honolulu and this car was my subsidized vehicle. I owned it, but it had lights, siren system and mobile data computer (MDC). It was Dk Blue and according to Ford, the only Bullitt Mustang to come off the showroom floor and become a police patrol vehicle.
U need to review the Mach1 so that becomes "your best Mustang and it fixes all the issues of previous Mustangs"....LOOK at the Ford script you probably got with the Ford keys
Best sounding Ford V8 ever is the 1971 351 4V Cleveland fitted to the Australian XY Falcon GTHO, bar none. Mechanical cam, 780 Holley, headers, special block and large-port heads....the only engine that comes close in terms of sound is the original mechanical valvetrain 426 street Hemi fitted by Mopar to the '66-'68 models.

@@ttown918 my opinion is these Machs fall short. Say what you will but no Shaker hood is already one slip up by Ford, second is not offering a different power plant compared to a regular GT. The New Edge Mach 1s not only came with a Shaker hood, but also came with a far superior 4v motor compared to the 2v in the GTs. Ford is trying to pass this off as a Mach 1 when all it is a Bullitt with striping and a better gearbox.

How is the shifting? I am biased towards the Mach 1 but not crazy about the styling.

Since when was the Bullit the best version of the S550 mustang? Mach1 is much better and the. There’s the Shelby Mustangs, GT350 and GT500

If you do supercharge it keep the open air element intake and get a PROCHARGER F1-C centrifugal supercharger that would be nasty.

Comes of V8's. Big Block. Nothing beats the sound. That super heavy note period.

5.0's depend on exhaust but generally have a sonorous sound. Best sounds in my opinion are gt350r and Terminator Cobras

If it wasn't so overpriced i would have bought one. I ended up with a base model gt which by the way would still give the bullitt a run for its money

Yeah, um no. It's great to make a vid to justify your ego, but the Mach 1 is better.
