Just bought a 2020 Bullitt last week - L0478. OMG the engine sounds so good with that GT350 Intake paired with the active exhaust. I feel like I'm a kid on Christmas morning. Now I have to have the thing wrapped in XPEL Ultimate paint protection film...
I bought one last week it's the best thing since sliced bread I can't stop driving it,not felt this happy about a car since 1975 my first car a trimph herald convertible thank you ford.
Nice and honest review! For those interested I use my Bullitt as a daily driver and get around 23 mpg with normal driving and commute around 40 miles a day.
25 year driving German automatics Inc AMGs and just bought a new 2020 mustang gt with every possible extra and manual gearbox. OMG its amazing! The first car I have had that turns heads and makes me feel great. P......s off Audi and Tesla drivers no end.
In my opinion the GT Mustang is a great value for what you get the fun and overall performance and styling is really terrific. The Bullitt takes this GT and improves it’s by maki g it more unique and different then the standards. The GT350 more so! For me the Bullitt was a satisfying compromise providing as much or more excitement at a more reasonable price then the GT350! I’m not interested in tracking my car so the Bullitt was best as a daily driver!

Does it come with heated front seats?. If so where are the switches for it as the dashboard looks like it has blanking plates where the heated seats button are on other Mustang models.
Interesting that the GT350 in the States is had at about your 48k price or perhaps even slightly less. Now that car at that price will stack up very nicely with ANYTHING in the sports car realm. Suspension and handling are really exceptional with another near 50 HP on top. The R versions can give many Porsches a run for it, and I'm not joking.
Eric Dawson - The GT350 (in the USA) has a base price of $60k without options. The R is about $10k more. The base price of a Bullitt is now about $47k. A standard Base GT Mustang with the V8 is about $35 without any options. Obviously options can easily drive the price up.
You're not lying. The Base GT350 was second only to the new Porsche 992, by just a hair, in Motortrend's 2019 Driver's Car of the Year award. Tested on both road and track by professional drivers, no other makes worldwide, at any price point, were even close to those two. So, naturally, in yet another stunning display of Detroit brilliance, Ford has terminated the car and the 5.2L flat plane crank V8 that made it what it is.
@@mikek6869 There are several American cars that are punching well above their weight including Corvettes, Camaro, Dodge and Mustang. American cars have always been cheaper than European cars because they do not have the same level of taxes in their economy. People are much wealthier in America.
@@bighands69 Not sure which part of the UK you live in but where I live there's plenty. London is full on them and as I have to drive from London to MK on a regular basis, I also see a good few of them around the motorway. There's around 5 close to Milton Keynes central alone including mine (bullitt). So yes pretty common, but definitely not as common as they're in the states.
The Mustang really is a gorgeous car. I just wish Ford would offer an upgraded interior as an option. As it is now, there's too much cheap plastic all over the place
This is one thing that I don't get with Ford - they spoil some amazing cars (e.g. Fiesta ST too) by cutting corners on stuff like this. I can understand the reasons for saving a few pennies when it comes to the bread and butter models, but there ought to be some sort of 'luxury' option for the more special ones. Having said that, I recently got a Mustang, and the interior is nowhere near as bad as you'd be led to believe from reviews. It compares OK with most ordinary modern cars in terms of quality, but the design of it is just gorgeous - way more interesting than most German rivals, and less tacky in design in my opinion than rival American muscle cars.
Why they didn't use the Tremec from the GT350 is what kills this car for me that is, I can feel it fighting me on downshifts even with rev matching, and even worse when I was higher up in the RPMs. Ah well, back to the Challenger 392 SRT.
Such a beautiful machine. Awesome. But I really hope Ford crash and burn because of what they did to the Mustang name. That atrocious monstrosity of a thing they call an electric SUV the emach and then put the mustang name on it. Disgrace
The only reason I can figure they decided to call it the mustang was to give the car more appeal in what is becoming a rapidly growing market what with all the history and heritage the mustang name comes with. Let's face it most people think a Mustangs cool. Not this new electric one though
