I've been using Shea Moisture consistently for over two years now,and recently changed brands just to change scents. The Shea Moisture products worked extremely well for the cost as Dan said, the conditioner is light and maintains the scent, the beard balm is very waxy but you do get an amazing hold on those annoying fly-aways.I just as a drop of oil in the wax on finger and it works in the wax perfectly. She also has women's products too. With the beard oil , I did notice that my dark beard does shine and appears wet or oily in appearance but is not oily to touch. Be Merry...Stay Hairy!
I purchased the Shea Moisture baby wash & Shampoo based of a video you put out last September. I wanted something to bring on our beach vacations for a "one stop shop/travel lighter" product for my body, beard and my lil girl's bubble baths. It worked awesomely and is so very gentle. Now we affectionately call it our "Destin Soap." I did not know, however, they made an oil. I can definitely vouch for them being a quality product. Thanks for the video sir!
I actually did a video on Shea Moisture about a year ago, oil was decent and a great value, although their balm was too waxy for me(and I usually like a firm balm). Their conditioners i really like. Great product for budget conscious consumers.
Just picked it up today and was like when I get home imma see if dan has a review. I've been using beard products for 5ish years. The price and size is what got me. It's nice. It's no BABC but I like it. The balm has a STRONG hold. Much love bro
Picked this one up recently and really like the scent and how it feels in my beard. You cannot beat the price point on this one and with the price of everything going up, it is nice to find a product the performs well and doesn't cost that much.
Been using this off n on for a few month's. No problem at all with it. Nice light feeling decent softness to my beard and no heavy matting feeling or brittleness. Good product at an affordable price...Love your channel I can't begin to tell you how much knowledge I've gained from your videos...Thank you for educating all of us... 🇺🇸
@@RichardNorby420 Ive used it daily on many occasions. I like to keep it in my locker at work so if my beard gets dry I can apply some. It's good for a backup oil that's for sure an the price is like $8 or so at Walmart... 🔥🔥🔥👍
I have tried all of shea moistures beard products, got it from a bundle at a good value. Definitely one of the best for anyone starting out the bearded journey 👍🏻

Thanks for all your hard work, my wife loves my new beard and I credit you for your expertise in helping me achieve success.
Started off with this a couple of years ago because I couldn't afford anything else at the time. I really like the oil, wash, and detangler. Unfortunately, they don't have butter (balm only) but it is a really good option for someone on a budget.
I picked up shea moisture beard oil on a whim. Most of the products we've purchased from the company were good, like soaps and face washes and moisturizer so I figured I'd try it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price point. The smell is reminiscent of fair funnel cakes. The beard wash and balm have the same scent. The balm is surprisingly great, although I don't use balms anymore. The oil is a fantastic option, that seems to be available just about everywhere.
Hi Dan. I use the Beard Wash by Shea moisture. It's the best I've come across- a gel that you don't need to use a lot of. Great value and keeps the beard in top condition. I have ordered the oil and will let you know.
It's the first beard oil I purchased, and I love it. I use it regularly, and I also use the beard wash, conditioner (de-tangler), and beard balm. The scent is amazing. I recommend this line of beard grooming products without reservation. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome, this is my go to "lazy day" beard oil. The value is just so amazing. The ingredients are solid, leaves the beard feeling nourished. I actually like the scent aswell, for me it smells of sweet almonds. Pleasant and mild. If I'm dressing up or going out or anything I put in something alittle more high end like a beard octane or artius man, but this is too good a value to pass up to help those other more premium oils last alittle longer. Spot on review dan!
Hey Dan, first time commenter here! New beard-grower too, hope my comment peeks your interest: I have some good amount of experience with Shea Moisture, but of their hair products. I love my long curly hair and am proud of my 15+ years learning to rock it, this brand is by far the best I have found for my hair and I love their ingredients, specially at those prices as you pointed out. I am from Mexico and I believe it may not be as cost effective over here as in the US, but still I think highly of them. I started growing my beard and was ecstatic to find their beard line, but I had a lot of problems finding them here (Shea Moinsture Men in general is really hard to get). Your video thrilled me, I'll try harder to get them. Please review more of their products. Thanks a lot.
I personally have not tried their beard oil but I am a fan of their beard wash! I find it is perfect for a daily wash as it is not harsh and does not strip the oils completely but rather a gently removing some and freshening. That being said I do have another wash for a full deep clean. I'm definetely interested in trying one of their beard butters.
I use their beard products regularly. In fact, their beard shampoo and leave-in conditioner (detangler) are my go to, now included in my Amazon S&S orders. The beard balm was a fail for me as it's very hard and waxy, leaving my beard feelings tacky throughout the day. I also agree with everything you said about the oil; however, the one thing that makes the oil loose points in my book is the smell. I personally do not care for the smell of Shea, which is the only thing I can smell in their product and sticks around longer than the shampoo/conditioner smell.
I like that leave in conditioner detangler also lately I've been using it every evening or night and oil in the morning. I don't mind the smell but I know what you mean it's not the greatest honestly. Is it the Shea or is it like a vanilla type thing they got going?
I have been using this product for 6 months and I really like it. I use the beard oil, balm, beard wash and detangler. I have been very pleased with the results. It will remain in my rotation for sure.
Ive never gotten around to purchasing the oil yet but the wash is good and smells good and the beard detangler does exactly what it says and thats detangle your beard and soften it and smells good also! im pretty sure its for all beard types but especially for coarse beards! Also a reasonable price for both.
I use this product a few times a week. The oil is great i like the balm but it is thick. I later learned that people will apply the balm than rap it in a hot towel. I tried it and it was awesome. Thanks for the videos and advice.
It’s a decent beard oil for the price point for sure and it also works great for a pre-shave oil for shaving my head! I do use The beard wash and beard De-tangling conditioner and am happy with it. But my favorite product of theirs is actually what my wife uses on her hair and loves it. It’s the “Strengthen and Restore Leave-In Conditioner” It makes my beard feel great, and I’ve left it in and rinsed it out, both with good results. You can get a huge 11.5 oz jar for about $9-$11 at almost any store where the other shampoos and conditioners are. And, from what I know and have learned from you, the ingredients all appear to be safe for beards, but I’ll let you be the judge of that.. I only use it about once a week. Check it out sometime bro!
Interesting. I love their oil but decided today I don't like their detangler but I want to try this other leave-in conditioner you mention. Every Man Jack has a nice beard butter which is basically a leave-in conditioner. 🙏
Dan I really like this one, it leaves my beard feeling really soft which I like. I know this was on your best budget beard oils video also. But first time coming around to seeing you cover this by itself solid oil good price. Eventually I'm going to branch out to the really good oils you have shared with us.
I love Shea Moisture beard oil but the detangler I got rid of today just don't care for it much as far as a store bought leave-in conditioner I think Every Man Jack's Beard butter is better feels much better to me and is a similar product.
I have often wondered about this product, whether it was any good or not. I am glad you gave a positive review. I will probably get some in the near future.
Never used it but glad you put it out there for the new no shave November beardsmen. I'm sure they get sticker shock from some of the better companies out there.

Hi Dan, I have an unrelated question. What is parfum? Is that the same as Fragrance Oil or Essential Oil? Sometimes I see it listed in some products, is it a no go or is it a good to go?
It’s a general term for a fragrance. Normally fine
