this guys a good drummer but not the goat Buddy Rich born 1917 was the goat His videos from 50 and even 60 years ago are incredible Buddy never took lessons. practiced or read music He was musically technically superior and was also a black belt in karate a comedian actor and tap dancer 100 yrs ahead of his time other better drummers are Vinnie Colaiuta Dennis chambers Steve Gadd Dave Weckel Mike Mangini Ricardo Merlini and many others Millineals do your music drumming history research before you make uninformed claims about whos the GOAT but I do like Stephario good drummer

Sounds like triggers my old drummer used them but what makes it interesting is being able to go from trigger to single my drummer in 1998 had triggers but they stayed in gaged all the time
Instead of asking Jorge "can you play this?" I think it's better to ask him "is there anything you cannot play?"
This Duellist double pedal/ double kick setup completely changes the Game. I'll bet if Duellist doesn't have an airtight design patent on the single/double pedal, DW, Pearl, Tama, et al will start to knock these pedals off.

El Estepario just set the new standard. You know how Louie Bellson is attributed with popularizing the first double kick drum setup? Well, El Estapario has revolutionized everything with the INTRODUCTION of the single/double pedal setup on two kicks configuration. You watch; this is going to catch on like wildfire in the Metal drumming Community.
I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 to 3 drummers in next year's Wacken Festival, sporting this configuration on their double kicks.
Can you imagine George Kolias, Gene Hoglund, and Brooks Wackerman after toying with this config after 6-8 months, and then going into the studio to track? It would be insane.

You should try a song by Pat Travers named "Snortin' whiskey and drinkin' cocaine" from either the latter 70's or early 80's or another song by the most under rated guitarist of the 70's, 80's, and 90's, Frank Moreno and Mahogany Rush did one song called "A new rock and roll" which I always enjoyed playing that song another song of his that I always really enjoyed playing was a blues song called "King Bee" and the good thing about that song was you could make it as long or as short as you wanted or needed it to be without making it obnoxious. I've also been a musician, a guitar player for 57 years and I'd rather be writing music and recording music, building solid body electric guitars, or playing music with other musicians who like me want the beginning, the body or the substance of the song, and of course the ending has to all be as near like the originals as we can possibly play them and THIS IS A MUST!!!!

A drummer named Morgan Sansous used dual quad pedals all the way back in 2006/7 in his you tube videos. Search quadblasting. He goes way faster than El Estepario is doing in this video. Morgan basically goes so fast with his feet,the quad pedals that he uses basically are vibrating like hummingbird wings on the electronic bass drum pads. He used both acoustic and electronic kits in his videos

@@kofijunior3153 yup, just search Morgan Sanous...or even quad pedal blasting. They have been up for 16 years, The one of him quad pedal blasting on the electronic kit is a bit low lighting but the camera gets right up on the pedals at times and those things are vibrating fast like a belt sander. He has amazing twich flexes to do that.

Hi Colby. Can you please tell El Estepario not to curse? I think he is the greatest drummer in the world. Maybe in the universe, but I think if parents want their children to learn from him, it wouldn’t be good for them to hear the F word in the lessons.
By the way, Colby, I watch loads of your videos and enjoy them all!! I am a drummer and learned late in life. My parents wouldn’t let me drum when I was young because they said it would be too noisy. Something has clicked and I have to practice every day.! Just love it!!
This is like autotune for singers. Im a fan of natural abilities with just the double pedal. However his natural abilities, on top of endless practice, this is phenomenal. 👍😃👍🤘🔥🤘

So technically, he's still only playing 2 pedals but with 4 beaters, because I'm only seeing one pedal under each foot here...🤔. And guaranteed, if anyone says: "this has never been done before", you know it has been done before, somewhere in the past, somewhere in the world, lol. (As people are pointing out in the comments with other bands). There is very little that is original or groundbreaking nowadays. El Estepario always makes it look effortless, 😂. I guess logically the more beaters you have the less work your feet have to do...🤔

Hi Colby!!! I love your channel. You have to help us, the spanish, to erase the fucking reggaeton of our society. Due to all the hispanicamerican (or latinamerican) that come to Spain (as we are Europe, and we have prosper much more) some of them imported this horrible "chain of sounds with a dumb tongue trying to sing". Now all the teenagers hear it and they are loosing the respect for the talent (look at Bud Bunny, he has been awarded with a Latin Gramy😱. I can't even understand what the fuck he says). Ovbiusly it is not all the latinamerican people (including brazilians that have a better music to import to Portugal, look at Sepultura). They also like rock, pop, real singers...their salsa, merengue,....and a lot of them HATE REGGAETON. We need to come back to the times of Creedence CR, Rollings, GnR.... The Tallica boys still having a lot of fans here, but the rest of actual metal and rock groups are unknown for the 95% of the spanish society, including our own groups, that now are older and there's no one to keep the spanish rock up. The teenagers even don't know Heroes del Silencio.

I think you completely misunderstand the meaning of “fair use”. “Reactions” are not fair use. This is simply making personal gains from someone else’s content.

Actually, I think you might be the one with the misunderstanding. More importantly, the content creator is fine with the reactions to his content and does need professional concern trolls or rent-seekers to defend his IP.
While I agree that this creator and some others don’t mind reactors using their content, it’s is still copyright infringement if they do not have permission. How would I know? I literally went to school for copyright infringement. Read up on fair use my friend. Unfortunately, YT has skirted copyright law and done a piss poor job of managing it for years. Why do you think many labels strike some reactors’ videos on music videos even if the artist doesn’t care? Because it is THEIR IP. Even El Estepario won’t cover certain bands for this exact reason dude.
