Dr Jones....my dog went to Heaven yesterday. I had her euthanized and I want you to know how much you helped me these three years...I wasnt able to take her to the vet bc of her seizures....so one came here....but these three years were scary and lonely and I felt like I had no one to turn to and the Lord provided you to offer your wisdom and knowledge and she lived longer and in less pain because of you. Thank you. May the Lord bless you in Jesus Name and protect you from all woes and troubles and attacks...I turned to your channel on many a dark night of the soul so to speak over my dear dog.
Sending love and prayers for your loss 😢
I am so sorry for your loss 😢. I know it is heartbreaking and I am with you. I know we will see and be with our companions again when we are called home. Dr. Jones is the best. I keep a file on my computer of all the things he recommends. I have a 15yo standard poodle now. I rescued him when the breeder was done using him as a studd dog. I cherish every minute I have with him.
Be well and may God Bless you.
Sorry for your loss. I had to put my 12.5yo dog down 2 months ago. Followed by my 16yo cat 2 weeks ago...so I know what you're feeling and going thru. {{{HUGS}}}
I to am so sorry for your loss. Over the last couple years I had to bury 2 dogs my male lab, which was hard. And a female mastiff.....that one had this 58 year old man crying like a baby. I have to German shepherds now,I walk them around the property every morning and night. I pass by the Graves of my past dogs,I made them antler headstones from moose antlers that they found....I tell them every time I pass......I love them......its amazing how strong a bond can be between k9s and humans. I'm scared because I don't want to go threw it again, and one of my shepherds I am head over heels for like no other dog. I can't bear to think about it without him. I hope the best for you,and for all that have lost, and pray, that WE WILL BE WITH THEM AGAIN!!
I’m so sorry for your loss
Please dont forget to thumbs up our good Doctor who gives so freely to us to help our fur babies ..also sharing is another good bonus for Dr Andrew Jones.....
agree
I love Tula, she is such a great patient!
Same thoughts 😆
We may have trials and tribulations in this life but they are all part of God's plan to make us stronger. Let us trust that God is doing a new thing in our lives to elevate us to the next level. 🙏 🙏
Three years ago we inherited our "granddog" Terrier/Poodle as our fourth grandchild was born. The dog, G, was struggling because he has a skittish nature and is an incredibly picky eater. That was three years ago, and now that G is almost 14, he has developed a collapsing trachea and has an incredibly sensitive stomach. He refuses most treats, and it is very difficult to get him to eat. Benedryl upsets his stomach terribly, so we have tried Melatonin, and I just purchased some calming hemp drops for dogs. We are using canned dog food for sensitive stomachs (basically chicken and rice), and we add pumpkin. and other things to add protein..... or just to get him to eat. The problem is that in the evening he starts to whine at us. see He wants more chicken (he spent most of his life on kibble), so this is when we need something to calm him. I was thrilled to see this video and will start trying some of these treatments. If anyone has any suggestions that would be helpful, I would appreciate it!
PS Our lab mix passed away two years ago, so I also think G is missing her. I sure am!
Im surprised Tula is still standing🤪😂😂Thanks so much Dr. Jones - very helpful video. I have an 18 yr old Jack Russell that close to going over the Rainbow Bridge and i think a little sedation would make him just feel less anxious. ❤❤❤
Its not as stronge as we thought lol good girl
This is wealth of information.
I apply calendula oil when it hurts my pet a male Dalmatian and is restless. Or steep chamomile in water and give a towel massage with the water for calming him.
We use Rescue Remedy for Pets on horses and with our dogs and cats. It works for travel, anxiety, and getting them to rest from an injury.
Tula the Trooper!!!
Her yawning on the video was obviously a sign lol looks like I need to invest in these for our dog thank you for sharing stay blessed
I always learn so much from your videos, thank you Dr. Jones, hugs for Tula!
Gee! It’s a wonder Tula is still upright with all that. 😂😂😂😂😴😴😴 Thankyou so much for your help with these videos. I always try and go natural before anything else. Wonderful.
One benadryl knocks me out for the entire day 😴
I will definitely have to try some of these. My long hair chihuahua is an anxiety mess when we go in the car and we travel a couple times a year from Roanoke Va to Akron Ohio, almost 600 miles. She would definitely benefit from this. Thank you so much for sharing this. God bless all the furbabies and those who love them 👑 🙏 💞 ✝️ 🐾 🕯
Nice reply!
I have a paradoxical reaction to Benedryl😢
My 11yr old poodle mix doggy does not react to Benadryl just like her 36yr old dad 😕🤷🏻♂️ so thanks for the different options doc!!! 👍🏼
I recently watched one of Dr. Jones videos about itchy and inflamed skin treatment. He recommended using Bee propolis. I bought some and within 4 days my dog’s skin is greatly improved and the itching is almost gone. Thank you Dr. Jones.
We used CBD during our last weeks with our beloved Boo.
It chilled her soo much that I did manage to trim a nail!
She loved chamomile tea! We mixed it with ginger and manuka honey!
Her last weeks she was helped by your videos soo much!
Thank You sooo much!
Hi what brand of CBD i can buy? Coz i cant trim my dog nails, mybe this one will help, thank you😊
Thank you so much for teaching us!
Dr. Jones, I always appreciate your natural remedies. And you're honesty about veterinarians. So I would like to pass this along to help you. I get cold sores like you do. And I tried everything to remedy them. Nothing really worked very well no matter what I tried. Finally my doctor wanted to put me on a certain kind of pill. I really didn't think using something orally for a cold sores could come to anything good. I told my mother about this and she said try blistex... Yes, good old fashion blistex the old time medicated ointment. It is the only thing that works and you can feel it working right away! I hope it works for you. It is a savior to me. Thank you again sir 🙏
The cat in the intro is beautiful
I didn't brush my first dogs teeth properly. My second dogs I brush their teeth from two months old. They didn't give any problems. I brushed the teeth, tongue and roof of mouth. The vet was surprised to see the dogs so white at 18 years old.
Wow!!
Everyday?
@@elysasmith9317 yes, mostly everyday. Sometimes I would skip a day because I was tired. I cleaned the paws and butt. He was well taken care of. 5 more months he would have been 19 years old.
@@Esther-zx1qi what did you feed your dog with? I noticed difference in our dog's teeth when he was getting steak instead of tin and kibble.
Before my 12.5yo dog passed 2 months ago, I gave her Himalayan Yak Cheese chews to keep her teeth clean. (Along with brushing) They're awesome...natural, totally digestible, hard, last for a very, very, very long time (took my Cane Corso week+ to consume...which is a very long time if you know anything about mastiffs!) and when they get chewed down to small enough of a chunk that they become a choking risk, you pop it into the microwave and they puff up and become a big cheese puff. Love them...and so did my dog!
You can also find "holders" for them as well, that make them easier for your dog to hold on to (because they are long and stick/log like in shape)
* footnote: your dog may ignore them at first, but once they mouth'em they'll chew on them for hours
Holders? I need those! I saw my dog holding his own up in the air! Where do you get them?
Sorry for your loss! Thank you for the tip about the chew! Nice to hear a chew can last more than 5 minutes!
@@Tinyteacher1111 I responded but it didn't post. I'm assuming because I mentioned the platform from which you can find them... it begins with an A. Just search Himalayan dog chew holder and they'll come up. The brand name is bonehead. They look like a plastic donut that has a screw or tightening mechanism that holds the chews tightly. They come in at least 2 sizes (L & S)
@@1wascallywabbit I read ya! Thank you SO much! I was going to try the A word! Lol!
I appreciate your responding again!!
Oh! I just read about the microwave trick! I just threw one away today, because it was too small! I never thought of that! Thanks, again!!!
@@Tinyteacher1111 you're welcome 😉 (it takes a minute or two, three on high in the microwave...but they puff up to double in size. Just be careful taking them out, ...very hot and definitely let them cool for a good while before giving to your dog since the innards will stay hot for a while
How do you ALWAYS know what we need??? Pure Love! (and Thanks!)
I need to calculate for a 145 lb Great Dane who appears to be a little Bull Mastiff as well. He’s so anxious that he’s been returned to a shelter a couple of times before I got him. I hope this helps!
My favorite is Bach flower essence “Rescue Remedy”. I rub on the back of my cats neck…when I used on my dog, I would just drop in her mouth. Works amazing.
We are all thinking of you both 🙏❤️
i love what you dsaid about the chamomile for the utube presenter haha
Very helpful! Thank you!
Excellent. I have such a difficult time with the teeth cleaning with one of my dogs.
Thankyou , always good to watch you .
Thanks Doctor❤
Thank you for sharing!!!
Thank you I really needed this video
Absolutely amazing! Thank you so much!!
Thank you for the info 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thanks Doc !!
Thank you Dr. Jones.
I appreciate your work
Great advice 👍
There was recent research that showed a connection between anti-histamines and dementia/cognitive decline. Do you think this could affect dogs the same?
Thank you Dr. Jones. I love all your videos. You’re so helpful. Blessings.❤️❤️❤️
GREAT INFORMATION, THANKS SO MUCH
Thank u
Always grateful for the advice and thankfully helping us to get the best natural treatment for our animals 🐾🐾🌟

Cool!
Thanks Dr. Jones; this will help me trim nails in my dog.
Love you bruh
Where do we buy your calming cubes pls ? Our poor lab cross does not handle seasonal fireworks, or thunder storms very well. Thank you 💜
Beautiful!!!! I give mine a capsule.Valerian
Very good information. You are a valuable asset to us pet owners. We need all the help we can get. Bless your giant heart.
Thank you!
I'm going to purchase some of your rub on oil for my boys hip pain I have him one jolly joints can meat ,plus Hemp Chewz which is amazing and Dog Greens all made here in USA 🇺🇸 all organic no crap! I swear by Dasaquin (glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM) is the best! It turned our English Shepherd from having to be euthanized to being a puppy again in 2 or 3 weeks!
@@Tinyteacher1111 Thank you so much hes a warriors we have huge yard i put him on leash for a bit if he gets lame but late I haven't thank you
@@RickGrimes007 poor guy! Can you give it a try?
@@Tinyteacher1111 where can I buy that?
I started using a liquid Valerian root (after watching one of your videos) to help with my mini schnauzer with anxiety and sleeping problems. It’s been a huge help and we were able to cancel his very expensive appointment with a Second neurologist. One problem is I gave it to Toby too much and he started to have an upset stomach and dry itchy throat. Please do your research before you give your dog something
Next time we fly, I'm going to try gravol. because his first experience on a plane was terrible. thank you.
🏆 Amazing Video
I wish I could save every video
You can! 😊
Great info;
I'm saving for 4th of July Savor 😂
I love the info you have given over the years. I have a rescue cat that has constant nose sneezing, she has no infection but I noticed she is constantly congested is there anything I can give her?
Hello Dr. Jones thank you for all you do to help pet owners with our beloved furry family.
Recently my dog (yorkie) got diagnosed with chiari malformation. He is currently on pain meds however I see he still needs extra. I do not want to up the dosage of his gabapentin as it has severe side effects. Is there anything holistic for me to give him? Thank you !
Boom yesss
Thank you so much Dr Jones, you are a wealth of knowledge..🤗👍🏼
Btw, I can’t give my doggie Benadryl anymore, I didn’t realize you should use Benadryl for people, or doggies, with glaucoma 😕
Melatonin does absolutely nothing for my dog, nor does CBD. Sometimes he gets even more stressed. I'll need to try these other recommendations. And combine them all I feel. After losing his vision and hearing he's become so incredibly anxious.
Omg! Poor thing! I would be too!
Wowzer….. poor Tula…. It is amazing to me that she is still awake. My dog weighs 160 pounds and I would be afraid to give her that much stuff in one day.
I am a registered nurse and it makes me a bit spooked.
I've heard Naturopaths talk about taking up to 5 natural supplements for the same things for them to work. They work better together than separately.
Thank You! For cats too?😊
Is 1000mg to high for valerian root? Also I'm struggling to find one that's organic.
Is Gravol the same as Dramamine? We don't have Gravol in the states that I have ever seen.
My dog is on Enalapril, can I give her Melatonin also at different times in the day? Thanks Dr.
do you have a calming product with all of the ingredients
I use CBD for my wolfhounds hip pain x3 per day. He sleeps well :)
Which is sugestion when i need to travel to my dog. Thanks
Can you do a video on reasons for hair loss in dogs please
My dog starts trembling when a storm is coming, she seems to sense it. Nothing has happened yet but she is shaking away. So I need something that will calm immediately. What are your thoughts on this problem? She is the best of travelers so long as no thunderstorms. We live in Florida, that says it all…..thank you for great videos.
I did some research on benadryl- it's known to adversely affect the brain if used habitually. I don't touch it unless I'm having an allergic reaction.
Can you sprinkle green tea into their food like the camomile tea?
I thought I heard not to give Benadryl🤷
If and only if it is the only one you have at home 🫶
What about Rescue or Feliway? What's your take on that, doc?
I find them both very good, especially the Feliway to spray their travel crate or spray the car.
Will these be helpful for a dog that freaks out when there’s a thunderstorm or when power goes, out? That’s when my dog gets anxious, very anxious.
Valerian had the opposite effect on me , I don’t sleep for 5 days in a row, I thought I was going to die. I took it to sleep 🤷♀️
Is there such a thing as a dental bite block for a dog? If so, where can one get this? My boy is fine with brushing and scaling, but it’s tough to scale inside his teeth because he won’t keep his mouth open long enough. His teeth are in excellent condition, but there is mild plaque/tartar I’d like to get off his back molars on the inside of his mouth. If I had something that would help keep his mouth open for a little bit, that would help a great deal. Thanks!
Please publish a book!
He has a free book …look in the description!
Hi Dr Jones , where I can buy the last medication u show us ? Your medication 😂
One of my 3 dogs has had a very high anxiety when I take with me in my car and I'm going to take a trip for 3 days driving, I don't want my baby dog (11yo) feel sick .
Appreciate you so much , Dr. Jones! Can your canine calming chews be used with cats as well?
Yes, absolutely
I love you.
❤ Would my 29 pound dog need 250 mgs of L-Theanine? she weighs 29 pounds. Cushings and Diabetic too.
Ican I purchase without creating an account?
Our dogs got hit by a sting ray. Left a big gash on his legs. No vet nearby. We gave him CBD oil and sowed it up. Also because he is Young and energetic we gave him CBD oil twice A day for a week to keep him calm and he healed up just fine. No limp. We were very lucky that it was a small ray and didn't hit a tendon.
As someone who has done dog rescue for many years and when 6:29 possible always use non-narcotic sedative/calmatives, I think the dosages are way too high for dogs, especially the Melatonin, but all of them.
I could do with some those for my next visit to the dentist! 😁
Can I give these to my 3.5 months old puppy? He is terrified of bath/nail trimming has motion sickness. He is a retriever puppy.
will these supplements help with dog car sickness ?
Hi doc please will you reply to my message, i started to give msg accent to my 1y old chihuahua, I do not know how many times a day is it safe for her to eat it, thank you.
Dr Jones, where can i buy the cbd oil? Thank you
You can purchase it from our online store: drjonesnaturalpet.com/supplements.html
My question is what can I give my dog to put him to sleep fully because he hates a bath. He weights 70lbs and he needs to be washed. He gets very aggressive with reachable bite me if he knows he’s getting washed. Please help.
Dr Jones, can you clarify the use of Benadryl…I was told NOT to give pets the pink capsules. (I guess there are difference formulations) Please advise on this so we don not give possible harmful Benadryl. Thanks!
Hello, I'm hoping you can help. I've watched your ear infection videos and went to find the canesten or clotrimazole cream and can't find it. Everything had other ingredients (TRI-something and some others had another C type name). I noticed those videos are older now, so I guess they don't offer the stuff with the ingredients you mentioned now.
What do I need to be looking for?
Or do these others work?
Amazon. I get mine from Amazon.
@kyoti I got the Canesten at CVS had 2 sizes. The other is hydrocortisone at dollar stores for a buck or 2.
Thank you!
I'll check my other nearest town, as they have a CVS. And if I still can't find it, then off to Amazon I go.
Clove oil is great for fever blisters, heals in one week.
Clever snow 70
I ordered your melatonin for my older dog my new rescue will have it if she ever needs a calmer i only gave my dog. 1 at a evening was an excellent product wish i had it sooner other products had too much he was 90 lbs i had to give my rescue kefir sardines no salt the veterinarians literally overdose them w antibiotics but shed been on over 2 weeks they were recommending 4.5 a day that seems excessive and last night i gave her 2 and she went crazy so now i have to take her to vet to get because she doesnt even seem sick i gave her organic chicken 🥦 and 🥕 and shes sitting in the sun w a smile on her face also need to repair her gut do you make soil base probiotic
