I've seen LRB twice and they were some of the best concerts I'd ever been too. And having Glenn Frey sit in with them here is awesome! May Glenn rest in peace.
Quality musicians making quality music. No fuss, no must. Just a bunch of guys jamming. All talented in their own right. Their live shows & concerts must be pure magic. Long live the great LBR. Pure ENERGY !!!!
You can't repeat good music like that anymore the goods back them a phenomenal thank God we got UA-cam and all the memories kids today don't know what good music is a bunch of garbage and I need shaking try to figure out what the hell that's supposed to be anyway God bless everybody keep safe peace out
Way too cool! Loved the Eagles (esp. w/Walsh!) and always thought LRB were criminally underrated. To see them with Glenn is just way to freaking cool! My brother got to see LRB live in the 80s some time & said it was a fantastic, tight show. As a concert junkie since a kid in the 70s always been sorry I never got to catch them in all of their eclectic glory! I'll still put Cool Change on repeat & just let it play over & over to this day! Thank you so much for sharing Brother!

An absolutely magic song, performance, engagement with the public on a beautiful summer night in Queensland!! I don't think I have ever heard such guitar passion from LRB and Glenn Frey... really, simply..Magic!!!
If you buy their Deluxe G/H or maybe even stream it, there’s a version of “Take it Easy” from this concert where Glenn sings lead and LRB sings the harmonies.
Graeham, this song introduced me to Rock n Roll radio when it was released and it sparked a life-long love of music. For me it all started with LRB. THANK YOU!!!
Saw them multiple times at Pubs around Melbourne, same with Acca Dacca! 70's in Melbourne, great bands at so many Pubs on any weekend. Australia's music, and cultural capital, sporting capital of the world!
My wife and I and friends were there as usual you guys were brilliant. My boys grew up with your music playing in our house and had the pleasure of meeting you at the concert you did with Beeb and Glenn in Shepperton. We were having chinese across the park and the two bioys saw you guys at the next table. They still have all your autographs. I was deeply impressed when Glenn came and sat with me while the boys talked to you.
Frey once called Little River Band the "greatest harmony band in the world". Now...he was probably referring to a slightly earlier version than this....perhaps circa 1975 -1983 ish....but some of the same guys are here...and it's still a great sound!!
Great to see the band in the late 80’s and nice to see Glenn Frey on stage. He was apparently quite fond of LRB and was even quoted as saying “they are the best singing band in the world”. Btw, if you buy the 20th Anniversary G/H cd, there’s a live version of “Lyin Eyes” & “Take it Easy” from this concert where Glenn sings lead and LRB sings the harmonies.
I was in a symphonic band at EXPO 88, but I didn't know these guys were on! Otherwise I would have gone to it.... love LRB! They're a tight band. Thank you for the video - LOVE IT😍
Got to meet Wayne Nelson at The Fraze Pavilion in Kettering OH 5 years ago. The LRB opened for KC and the Sunshine Band. Both he and KC (Harry) are great guys.
I'm writing you Graeham because for years I always thought that Wayne wrote Night Owls, until one of your Aussies corrected me. I just thought that the arrangement in the band was whatever you wrote, you were the lead vocal, Just like L&M
In 1981, Wayne Nelson had a good voice and I wrote The Night Owls for him to sing. Nelson is not a songwriter, nor even an original interpreter of a song... but he was able to sing the melody I wrote
@@GraehamGoble Thanks for the reply Graeham, I was in the business when you guys were signed, I was a drummer in the band, I studied under Bernard Purdy in NYC, we were signed by Kapp Records in 69' for a one record deal and it bombed, the following year we released another song which did good in the NY & NJ & Phily. area's. It only sold 50,000 copies. Someone actually posted that song on YT. We modeled ourselves after you guys, 5 part harmony, a very tight vocal band, with really good players. We were actually known for our Moody Blues show we used to do. Playing 6 nights a week and luggin' that B-3 Hammond around. Still memories I'd never trade. To me, your one of the top songwriters in the music business and your band is still one of the best that's out there. Peace Brother
M wife and I and 2 friends were at Expo. We had sat down on the grass to eat tea when this concert started. FANTASTIC. What a true legendary band. Sad that its just a cover band now though. And yes, Frey did say LRB were the best vocal band in the world. I remember the first song Shorrock was off key and Frey looked at him and just raised his hand up quickly and Shorrock pitched perfectly. I took my 2 sons to see Glenn, Beeb and yourself Graeham perform in the Civic Centre in Shepperton Victoria. We were having Chinese at the restaurant in the park across from the venue. You guys (all the band) were at a table by yourselves and we were at the only other occupied table in the place. My sons went over and got all your autographs and talked with you all while Glenn came and sat with me and chatted away. Great stuff. Thank you for all your wonderful music. You coloured my families life with your God given gift.
LRB put out a 2 CD anniversary with over 30 of their songs on it in the 80's Best of it was they did a 2 song track of Eagle's songs Lying Eyes and Take it Easy with Glen Frey was on stage with them. Most of the takes were live.
I love how melodic their hit songs were, even the guitar solos on them were. LRB was a great band...underrated!
seriously, who underrates them? Nobody, so don't say it
@@seanlowe4785CTFON, Sean. While the term "underrate" maybe overused nowadays; it's justified RE: LRB!!!!! How often do u hear LRB on the radio?
You know you are good when you sound the same live as you do in the studio. I can think of very few bands that do.
Yes seen The Little River Band years back they sounded the same they were the bomb awesome sounded phenomenal
May I suggest another Aussie..INXS. In studio or live.
Good point!

One of the absolute BEST harmonizing bands ever. Right up there with the Beach Boys, The Eagles, and CSN&Y!!
If you have Glenn on stage with you, things are going pretty well.
Yes! Both Glen's are fabulous!😊❤💐💕
Graeham you are the foundation stone of LRB and always will be. Great jam
I saw them perform this live in NYC circa 1981. The vocal harmonies were spine tingling. Wish they could reconcile and get back together in the US!
Great song performers with Glenn Frey RIP 🙏 and Glenn shorrock ♥️🙏🇦🇺🇺🇸

Fabulous seeing the LRB members who recorded this song in 1981 together for this performance. Glenn Frey looks like he is having a good time.
Awesome video..LRB fan for 30 years
My favorite song and they're having so much fun playing it!! Wow!!
At the closing years of disco, my wife and I were out dancing almost every weekend. Golden times and great memories. Love it!!

The guitarist sure knows how to have fun with a solo!
