@@benzaiten933 Lucifer is so different. I really wish the studio that originally had it didn't force it into being a police procedural. All the broadcast studios are that and things like doctor dramas. At least they didn't make it a game show. Tom is great & it's good for what it was forced to be...it just doesn't feel related to Sandman or Neil Gaiman in any way.
So, you haven't watched Severance, The Boys, The White Lotus, Peacemaker, Better Call Saul or the currently airing House of the Dragon.
Don't be afraid of reading the comic if you really want to. Yes you will be spoiled to "the big thing that's actually going on", but the show is, so far slightly different here and there, touch ups and modernizations that are interesting to see and understand.
God Tom Sturridge is perfect for Dream I love him hopefully we get season 2 soon
I wanna see more of Johanna Constantine also Corinthian was so cool
I love the episode with Death It was really beautiful and Dream threatening Desire was so chilling
ONE OF THE BEST OF ALL TIME!!
You NEED to do an Honest Trailer for Hocus Pocus before the sequal comes out! Please, please, please!
I listened to the audiobooks before this came out and they were word for word exactly the same, so whichever one you do first, there’s no bs behind it!!
The sandman is an amazing series
I didn't know much when I started watching this series but I was so excited when Stephen Fry showed up - best moment!
This is the BEST video in ages, every line was perfect! :D
Excellent adaptation 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I'm shocked this hasn't been renewed for S2. I think that'll be the end of my last scrap of faith in Netflix if they cancel this one.
If they don't renew it (and jfc, what's taking so damned long), I'm cancelling my Netflix subscription. I already lost my faith when they didn't renew the incredible The Dark Crystal series .
One of my favourite shows this year I want season 2 asap
Netflix might have a chance if they can keep making great shows like this one
Ha, good one.
Agree but it's Netflix... Don't get your hopes up.
This was WB, Netflix just distributed it
If they keep makings shows like this, netflix wont exist for much longer, considering the gigantic budget they had for sandman
Their new monster series, Dahmer, is so far the best adaptation of true crime genre. HIGHLY recommended. It highlights more on the people affected by Dahmer
Thank you for the Salute Your Shorts quote at the end. My friend Kirk Bailey, who played Ugg on the show, died this year.
Oh he didn't nearly threaten to take the child. He WILL take the child
I absolutely loved that show. The actors were very good!
All but one of them, yes.
@@thepianoist which one??
@@sybylo The girl that plays Rose was unspeakably bad. Everyone else was fantstic.
@@thepianoist why u say that I’m curious i dislike her too
@@shadowfor1995 Worst actress I've ever seen in a big budget production. Speaks like an alien trying to aproximate how humans sound. None of her expressions or mannerisms make an iota of sense. Just stunk up the whole screen during those episodes.
"The Exorsis" killed me xD
I remember seeing a trailer for this, I had no idea it was out already
I totally choke my drink when he says: "The quest to become somewhat less of a dick"
Tom is the coolest character since Keanu Reeves and the Matrix. You can't take your eyes off of him. Love this series and want mooore. Thx.
