Thanks! This is Southern Denmark. It’s got a cozy vibe with lots of countryside and coastal spots, pretty different from California, but really nice in its own way!
Great that you are now using a mic but your voice is a bit on the low side, at one point at the start it was higher, when you were talking about the sensor suite but, got low again. on the highway portion you mentioned the car is 80-85db, that's a bit high for what should be a premium vehicle, I would expect in the 60db range. I like the look of the Polestar 4 but, the interior (seats, dash, display) seems like it should be on the Volvo side, as the XC or EX60, better yet, lower it and it would be an "E" V90 Cross Country, it has proper wagon cargo room. It and the 4 should look the same as far as interior, giving Polestar their own identity without being an extension of Volvo. Great car nonetheless.
I completely agree! I still need to fully figure out the microphone setup, and I’ve also just started using new editing software, so it’s a bit of a learning curve. But it shouldn’t take long before everything is dialed in properly. As for the car, it was definitely loud on the highway, especially considering it has “active noise canceling” through the speakers. Personally, I think the Polestar 4 feels like the more premium vehicle, even though it’s the cheaper of the two. That said, Polestar is really producing some great vehicles across the board. I’m also trying to arrange a longer loan on the Polestar 2, so I can cover all the models in depth. Thanks for your feedback!
Hey good video, but this launch edition doesn’t have noise cancelation. Only the 2025 model can get this. You’re the first person ever that has said the shift knob feels cheap. This is the latest and greatest that value has to offer (and polestar)
@@windowman9665 Thanks for checking out the video! That explains the noise on the highway. Before the drive, the employee told me it had ANC when he was going over the specs, so I guess I’ll have to do a separate video on the noise levels at some point when I can get my hands on a model with the ANC activated. As for the shift knob and indicator stalks, yeah, they just feel a bit too light and plasticky for me. I would’ve liked them to feel more solid or have a bit more weight to them.
Where is this? Looks nice, very different from where I live in California

Hey man, great video! Just out of curiosity, what camera are you using to film?
@@coralthe3rd205 I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I’m using the GoPro Hero 11 Black
Could you please speak even more quietly? I can almost hear you now.
