Love it-I’m 72, started road cycling again 3 years ago, ride 130 ish miles every week, have done 6,000 miles this year so far, dropped 20 lbs over 18 months, was only 158 lbs to start with at 5ft 9inches. You just have to keep going and doing what you love-life is too short to waste it.....

This is the shit. I'm 50 and I'm sprinting! Cleaned the crap out of my diet and started working out. What a difference it makes when you decide to make the effort.
It's huge. I'm 65 and have always worked out. Started a landscape business after I retired because I absolutely love the physicality of building patios and retaining walls. Even after a hard day of work I look forward to my routine.

Yes, like others commenting, I'm in better shape at 55 than I was 15 years ago. I'm consistently in the top 10% of mountain bike riders on downhill sections on trails around my town. However, I think you should avoid being overwhelmed by all that is in the video. Perfection is not necessary. You don't have to be a world-class athlete. You don't need EVERY spoke tightened. Start with three spokes. Eat well, sleep well, exercise - cardio and weights (functional strength helps avert injury). From that foundation, you can build toward happiness. Be more engaged in the world, better self-esteem, and stronger relationships. As Laird said at the beginning, start small - run to the end of the street EVERY day. Build that healthy habit and the others that follow.
When I was a teenager I used to imagine 30 yr olds as being "old." Now that I am in my early 30's not only do I see I was wrong, but i am in 1000 times much better shape than when i was a teenager. I grow more self aware every year and i can only imagine getting better and better in my 40's. Your body is an amazing tool. As long as you are able to break through mental barriers, the body is capable of taking you beyond your limits. The first time I ran a marathon I realized that we are so much more capable of what we think we can do. Take care of your body, it's the only place you have to live in. Be good to your body, and it will be good to you. Don't forget about your mental health as well. The physical and mental together are unstoppable. If you are reading this and you are someone who is struggling with your physical or mental health, don't give up. Where there's a will , there's a way. Good luck!!!
well said and great video. laird is a machine and an example of what's possible now. im 45 years old. i can do inverted aerial rotations on a surfboard i couldnt do when i was an aspiring professional at 19. i train in jiu jitsu, i do yoga 6 hours a week at least. its all in your head. i can smoke most 22 year olds in the water and in the ring. dont listen to what people tell you. we are pure energy at the quantum scale. matter does not exist. it is an illusion. If we are not meant to connect in the moment with everything then what are we here to do? Find the thing that makes you connect with it all. i want to be the fittest ive ever been at 50. its possible. it really is.
Any time I'm in the gym and I see an 80 year old guy just starting to work out, or a very obese person in the first week, those are the people I'm most impressed by. Sure, there are legions of super-ripped beasts there, and they've put in a lot of hard work, but it takes tremendous courage to make those first steps when you've got some odds stacked.
I appreciate the motivation. One challenge that comes with age is accepting the drop off in performance. No matter how motivated you are, there is a normal deterioration that comes with age, and dealing with that constructively can be a challenge.
I'm 75+, and surfing as many days as weather and surf provides. A 2-4 hr session is my day, or more on a super fun swell. At least 1-2 fun ones to remember, to sleep on, makes my day worthy. Sharing and good vibes are necessary. Riding different boards keeps me tuned to what size or shape there is. Each day is a new adventure, in or out of the water. Age is just a word , and having fun is my goal. Started at 12, and still finding something new to try. Keep moving. Life is free to enjoy.
I'm 64 retired,I surf every day the waves are good approximately 4-5 days a week,ride a short board,walk miles on our beach when the waves aren't happening,or sometimes I do both,I stretch,eat very healthy,no alcohol,no smoke,no drugs.Im in better shape now than in college,and my family life is ideal. Pure Vida!
Your lifestyle is very encouraging to me. I am mid 45, surf 4-5 days a week, typically on a long board as our waves are usually crap. Sometimes I do long distant sails with my kite and a foil. I dont drink, drug or use tobacco. The 3 years of abstinence from alcohol has been the hardest but it is totally worth it. Additionally, I have incorporated a very thorough, daily stretch session and add a little more just before paddling out. Pura Vida BTW...i met my wife in Costa while on a surf trip.
Laird has such a powerful positive mindset. It’s very inspiring. A true athlete. Watched him ride that insane wave bigger than anyone. You have to have your shit together mentally to do that 😂. Awesome human being.

Thank you. I’ve just watched this great film and it has inspired me to keep going. I quit smoking and drinking 3 years ago and started road bicycle racing a year later. Unfortunately covid has put a stop to racing for the past 10 months, my last race was March 2020. It’s sometimes difficult when you struggle up a hill or when it takes a lot longer to recover than it used to when I was 20yrs old but I’m glad I got back to it. I’m so much happier in myself now than when I was drinking and smoking. It’s a great feeling to have no props and to be able to get a high from natural endorphins. I’m 43 yrs old. This film has helped put my mind at ease. Things change slightly when you get past 40 yrs old but I think a lot of it is in the mind, responsibilities, caring for elderly relatives, seeing people around you age etc. I think I will be watching this film many times to keep me inspired to keep going, keep fit, keep healthy and stay positive. I was a distance runner, marathoner, and triathlete in my younger days until I started my real career at 35. The demands of everyday life, family , and the job kind of killed that aspect of my life. I miss running a lot and at 67 I’m pretty much just reduced to long walks now due to lower back issues. Sometimes it’s not just mind over matter. Father Time takes its toll on all of us in different ways. My advice to you younger guys would be to keep on keeping on and don’t let your fitness slip away because once it’s gone you may not ever get it back.
It's hard to get it back, I quit for 20+ so I could be in a drunken stuper...2010 I quit drinking and it took over 2 years to become a athlete again...ten years later and I am still improving...
Sometimes it IS mind over matter . . .but we make excuses. There are amazing new (and old) treaments for lower back pain. Dorn Method. Somatics, Etc. IF it was important, short of spinal disconnection, you CAN find a way. IF. . . it is imprtant to you. Me. I've had two broken backs, dozens of fractures over a 50 year period, BUT, I am still flexible and strong. It may also be a simple matter of CHOOSING which activities you wish to excel at now, rather that having the preconceptio of still wanting to run a marathon or 10 second 100m. Sometimes just being able get up of the floor in a fluid and strong motion is an achievement. (A surprisingly rare one if you watch.) But just being able to move your body how you wish, and to its fullest range of motion, is wonderful enough.
Gabby sometimes if you can eat better. Lose weight and start small but eventually gain muscle strength in your back your back pain will diminish. I wish you well don’t give up. Stretching and occasional icing is huge too. But seriously. Stretching is a game changer.
Saw Jack LaLane twice speaking in San Luis Obispo while in college in da 80's, talk about a no excuses attitude! To quote him, "Excercise is king, diet is queen, put them together and you will have a kingdom". Loved that dude.

I'm 54 now. Love training. Had an accident that became cerebral haemorrhage and the doctor didn't allow me to do any heart rate training. I listend and started when they said it was okey. My wish to get on with good training again was too fast so I ended up with worse and worse results. Now I try to listen to my body (it's very hard because my life is training) Now I focus on having fun. Driving Mountainbike on forest path, and some climbing on walls. Stops earlier than usually and hoping that this way will make it possible to soon do much more training. I need to do training, training is my engine in my life. I love most sorts of training.
46 here, just watching this as I'm hydrating and getting ready for my 3rd day snowboarding this week. I also climb, send it on mountain bikes, SUP, hike and love to lift. Find something you love, put in the work so you can do what you love. No motivation needed!

Just wanted to comment. I own a plumbing business and I have a customer who is a retired arborist. He’s 71 years old. He’s a awesome dude. He climbs his trees in his back yard 7 days a week to stay young!!!!! That’s amazing hey?
Thank you everyone. The more I do work out moves the body feels better, and weight changes are rearranging there positioning. Slowly but surely I should be fully fit. Just to let you know I do not drink alcohol or have taken any type of drug. Apart for this recent medical to treatment.
I turned 50 this year and thanks to working out 5 to 6 days a week Im full of energy and feel great! Every workout makes me feel even better than the day before! Its a full on health addiction! Lol. Great Video!
Downhill, backcountry skiing at high level until 47. until doctor begged me not to go due to mulitple injuries that needed surgery. Still hiking mountains, and ripping on my mountain bike huge rides and descents with jumps etc. Paddle boarding every chance I get, and travel to surf. I am 54 now and will continue the sufferfest!

THx for the inspiration and here's some back at you : shattered C-5 @ 32, fused 4-5-6 and did helis in the bumps 100 days later...2 ribs 4 breaks punctured lung @ 38 over rotating a teleheli, and now still spinning @ 56 showing my 14 year old what's up,...And I shared neck deep snow with him last season. So blessed to still charge. Conclusion: We were meant to do this man. Suffer for your passions and enjoy the consequences!

I’m 62. After pushing myself to do some intense workouts recently, I was able to do some things I was unable do in my 30s. Rogan’s correct that it’s mental tiredness; I used to do triathlons & marathons, but just got mentally sick of those, so my workouts are entirely different now. I also started doing some other (non-exercise) things that are new to me, and that I never thought I could do. Struggle, mental activity, and novelty are all essential to staying young at heart.

I've never surfed but I've been in the ocean regularly my whole life. I love the water and am an expert swimmer, but those waves scare the shit out of me! The man is a total beast!!!
48 and just stopped playing Rugby at 45- eventually the pain everyday was jus too much. But didn’t stop- got back into mtbing. Not just pedaling around some trails- I mean sending it, jumps, gnar, skateparks etc. Still hit the gym, hike, run as much as I can, surf when I can- altho the years of Rugby took their toll on my knees and now the pop up can be painful. But still don’t let it stop me. There are some things I have had to cut out because of injuries, or do a bit differently but I keep on keeping on. Improvise, adapt, overcome. But above all, keep going.
I'm 51 and I've never stopped surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. I'm definitely stronger than I was in my 20s. Recovery is a little slower but I still try to do at least one of the three every day. Running water never goes stale.
I am 73 and getting better. Better in every way; spirit, mind and body. All three bodys are relevant to each other. If you believe you can improve the condition of body, you will, but the other bodies, mind and spirit body will also improve. I started with the spirit and everything else followed.

54, l had pondered as a late teen, thinking about anti-aging. With this came research and commitment to staving aging off. People say l look in my early 40. This is living a hard life of work, working out and sports, being broken up more times than l care to think about. I date ladies in their 20’s and refuse to allow my brain to let the aging take over. Started stand up paddle surfing at age 52. I'm 55 now. It's a challenge every time I go out...some level of "fear" but also respect for the ocean. It's the best feeling when you get out of the water and realize what you are capable of doing. Fear of looking foolish? Who gives a shit. Live life.
You guys are a complete inspiration to me. I have done mild exercise all my life , I always take the stairs, people always say I walk too fast, I got into a lazy state just before lock-down, that was in February March here in Europe.So I started a new regime I started doing Bur-pees , the first one nearly killed me.I mean I nearly threw up! I felt like an old man. I could not believe how unfit I had become. I started rowing regularly on a water rower doing HIT.5 minutes warm up followed by 3 x20 second HITs every other day. After 2 weeks I had progressed to 10 Bur-pees it was tough.I also started skipping that was even more hell. I was also Jogging and got it up to 8Km but then had pain from my IT band and had to stop that but kept up the rowing.Then a friend persuaded me to go swimming in the lake in November, she's been going for years.Air Temperature was around 12 Celsius and the water was probably around the same. I went regularly into December between 06:30 and 07:00 every morning the water temperature currently in December is around 8 Degrees and its about 2 degrees air-temp today.Listen the first time is a shock but after about the third time its easier. Its ALL in your mind. After the initial shock, which can take your breath away you just swim. I can stay in for about 4 or 5 minutes then I get out .Take a friend if you go alone take a swimmers Buoy with you to tow behind in case of cramp, my biggest fear.The strange thing is, its not cold when you get out you get a slight sensation like you you are burning, then another short swim and out again.Dry the hair, get a woolly hat on asap and then get dressed bring hot tea in the thermos.After you get your clothes on again and stand at the side of that lake watching a pair of swans lift off the water in the sunrise I can tell you I have never felt so alive in years. The effects were almost immediate , I almost stopped drinking coffee, I was wide awake all day, I could concentrate better, I had what seemed like boundless energy.Oh yeah and to the guys out there chuck your blue pills the cold puts lead in your pencil!!! If someone had said to me in January I'd be swimming in the lake in December I'd have said they were crazy.I even went with snow on the ground! I used to fear the cold after years of riding a motorcycle to work as a teenager with pain in my freezing hands. Check out Wim Hof the "Ice Man" that guy is onto something! Wish me Luck I am 64 in January 2021.

Only 65 hip so badly damaged the right hip now worn out too, final stage emphysema (oxygen 70% of day) thrashed my body way too much, but in 50s big wake up, veg juice keeps me going but Laird's been hero decades now & reckon JoB realises Laird knows care for the vessel is paramount. Just great! I will turn 72 January 5th, consistent serious lifter since 1969 along with a spattering of martial arts, (these things to combat bullying, It stopped.) I added meditation and yoga in my late sixties and recently hill sprints and still spend a few minutes every day on the heavy bag for kicks and punches. With regard to diet intermittent fasting has been amazing. I was never great at anything , however , I was convinced if I remained the last man standing and never quit I would move up the ranks as others gave up....looks like I was right!
How old you are is only a number. Take care of yourself ( diet, movement and exercise) and have a "child like " enthusiasm and positive outlook. You make your own reality.
So many people make comments on Joe's videos about him speaking on topics way beyond his purview, with genius guests he has on his show. When really, he's opening his mind up to thought processes that challenge his intellect, thus educating him on that which he knew very little about beforehand. This in turn makes him smarter than he was right before these conversations he partakes in. I get so unbelievably inspired by his videos with the likes of Michio Koku, Elon Musk, & Neal De'Grasse Tyson. This video just confirms Joe's value to internet video education!

Battling old injuries is my biggest issue. And avoiding new ones. A good diet helps heal but as they say old age does not come on its own. Keep on Battling!!
i'm almost 54, i'm very active, and my solution to injuries is to have a variety of exercise equipment/workouts on the go. a chin up bar and gymnastic rings (which can hang off them) means you have something to do if you get a foot or leg injury, yoga, running, weights, gym. there are very few injuries i can get now that i don't have a workaround for.
I wish I could find something by Laird (adore) on starting (after a long down period) over. I'd love it if Gabby did a vid or book on Starting Over at 50etc as well. Motivation is tough. Especially after a serious illness. Love them both.

Going heavy on a diet change this year,stretching joints,basic exercises,etc.My knees are back without pain,rash on back of many years gone,itchy scalp gone,dropping lbs,etc. I still have stomach,anxiety and sleep issues but that's a work in process,so much still to learn.

When I was a teenager I used to imagine 30 yr olds as being "old." Now that I am in my early 30's not only do I see I was wrong, but i am in 1000 times much better shape than when i was a teenager. I grow more self aware every year and i can only imagine getting better and better in my 40's. Your body is an amazing tool. As long as you are able to break through mental barriers, the body is capable of taking you beyond your limits. The first time I ran a marathon I realized that we are so much more capable of what we think we can do. Take care of your body, it's the only place you have to live in. Be good to your body, and it will be good to you. Don't forget about your mental health as well. The physical and mental together are unstoppable. If you are reading this and you are someone who is struggling with your physical or mental health, don't give up. Where there's a will , there's a way. Good luck!!!

well said and great video. laird is a machine and an example of what's possible now. im 45 years old. i can do inverted aerial rotations on a surfboard i couldnt do when i was an aspiring professional at 19. i train in jiu jitsu, i do yoga 6 hours a week at least. its all in your head. i can smoke most 22 year olds in the water and in the ring. dont listen to what people tell you. we are pure energy at the quantum scale. matter does not exist. it is an illusion. If we are not meant to connect in the moment with everything then what are we here to do? Find the thing that makes you connect with it all. i want to be the fittest ive ever been at 50. its possible. it really is.

I’m 60, retired to Mexico and do CrossFit everyday. Love it. Bench pressed 250lbs last week six times after my CrossFit work out of the day (WOD).
Any time I'm in the gym and I see an 80 year old guy just starting to work out, or a very obese person in the first week, those are the people I'm most impressed by. Sure, there are legions of super-ripped beasts there, and they've put in a lot of hard work, but it takes tremendous courage to make those first steps when you've got some odds stacked.

in climbing gyms there are old guys like 80. The guys who were really into sports dont give up because of age. There's plenty of them.
I appreciate the motivation. One challenge that comes with age is accepting the drop off in performance. No matter how motivated you are, there is a normal deterioration that comes with age, and dealing with that constructively can be a challenge.
And that's the one thing these influencers will never admit to including whatever PEDs they are on.
I'm 75+, and surfing as many days as weather and surf provides. A 2-4 hr session is my day, or more on a super fun swell. At least 1-2 fun ones to remember, to sleep on, makes my day worthy. Sharing and good vibes are necessary. Riding different boards keeps me tuned to what size or shape there is. Each day is a new adventure, in or out of the water. Age is just a word , and having fun is my goal. Started at 12, and still finding something new to try. Keep moving. Life is free to enjoy.
How do you feel when you go into a choppy sea where you need to keep fighting the waves to get outside?
I'm 64 retired,I surf every day the waves are good approximately 4-5 days a week,ride a short board,walk miles on our beach when the waves aren't happening,or sometimes I do both,I stretch,eat very healthy,no alcohol,no smoke,no drugs.Im in better shape now than in college,and my family life is ideal. Pure Vida!

Your lifestyle is very encouraging to me. I am mid 45, surf 4-5 days a week, typically on a long board as our waves are usually crap. Sometimes I do long distant sails with my kite and a foil. I dont drink, drug or use tobacco. The 3 years of abstinence from alcohol has been the hardest but it is totally worth it. Additionally, I have incorporated a very thorough, daily stretch session and add a little more just before paddling out. Pura Vida BTW...i met my wife in Costa while on a surf trip.

Thank you. I’ve just watched this great film and it has inspired me to keep going. I quit smoking and drinking 3 years ago and started road bicycle racing a year later. Unfortunately covid has put a stop to racing for the past 10 months, my last race was March 2020. It’s sometimes difficult when you struggle up a hill or when it takes a lot longer to recover than it used to when I was 20yrs old but I’m glad I got back to it. I’m so much happier in myself now than when I was drinking and smoking. It’s a great feeling to have no props and to be able to get a high from natural endorphins. I’m 43 yrs old. This film has helped put my mind at ease. Things change slightly when you get past 40 yrs old but I think a lot of it is in the mind, responsibilities, caring for elderly relatives, seeing people around you age etc. I think I will be watching this film many times to keep me inspired to keep going, keep fit, keep healthy and stay positive. I was a distance runner, marathoner, and triathlete in my younger days until I started my real career at 35. The demands of everyday life, family , and the job kind of killed that aspect of my life. I miss running a lot and at 67 I’m pretty much just reduced to long walks now due to lower back issues. Sometimes it’s not just mind over matter. Father Time takes its toll on all of us in different ways. My advice to you younger guys would be to keep on keeping on and don’t let your fitness slip away because once it’s gone you may not ever get it back.
It's hard to get it back, I quit for 20+ so I could be in a drunken stuper...2010 I quit drinking and it took over 2 years to become a athlete again...ten years later and I am still improving...

Sometimes just being able get up of the floor in a fluid and strong motion is an achievement. (A surprisingly rare one if you watch.)
But just being able to move your body how you wish, and to its fullest range of motion, is wonderful enough.

Gabby sometimes if you can eat better. Lose weight and start small but eventually gain muscle strength in your back your back pain will diminish. I wish you well don’t give up. Stretching and occasional icing is huge too. But seriously. Stretching is a game changer.

I'm 54 now. Love training. Had an accident that became cerebral haemorrhage and the doctor didn't allow me to do any heart rate training. I listend and started when they said it was okey.
My wish to get on with good training again was too fast so I ended up with worse and worse results. Now I try to listen to my body (it's very hard because my life is training)
Now I focus on having fun. Driving Mountainbike on forest path, and some climbing on walls. Stops earlier than usually and hoping that this way will make it possible to soon do much more training. I need to do training, training is my engine in my life. I love most sorts of training.

Thank you everyone. The more I do work out moves the body feels better, and weight changes are rearranging there positioning. Slowly but surely I should be fully fit. Just to let you know I do not drink alcohol or have taken any type of drug. Apart for this recent medical to treatment.

Downhill, backcountry skiing at high level until 47. until doctor begged me not to go due to mulitple injuries that needed surgery. Still hiking mountains, and ripping on my mountain bike huge rides and descents with jumps etc. Paddle boarding every chance I get, and travel to surf. I am 54 now and will continue the sufferfest!

I’m 62. After pushing myself to do some intense workouts recently, I was able to do some things I was unable do in my 30s. Rogan’s correct that it’s mental tiredness; I used to do triathlons & marathons, but just got mentally sick of those, so my workouts are entirely different now. I also started doing some other (non-exercise) things that are new to me, and that I never thought I could do. Struggle, mental activity, and novelty are all essential to staying young at heart.
Laird has always pushed the limits. He’s always been an inspiration to me and many people I know. He will die doing what he loves.

48 and just stopped playing Rugby at 45- eventually the pain everyday was jus too much. But didn’t stop- got back into mtbing. Not just pedaling around some trails- I mean sending it, jumps, gnar, skateparks etc. Still hit the gym, hike, run as much as I can, surf when I can- altho the years of Rugby took their toll on my knees and now the pop up can be painful. But still don’t let it stop me. There are some things I have had to cut out because of injuries, or do a bit differently but I keep on keeping on. Improvise, adapt, overcome. But above all, keep going.
I'm 51 and I've never stopped surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. I'm definitely stronger than I was in my 20s. Recovery is a little slower but I still try to do at least one of the three every day. Running water never goes stale.

This is living a hard life of work, working out and sports, being broken up more times than l care to think about. I date ladies in their 20’s and refuse to allow my brain to let the aging take over. What a message ~ I lift 6 days a week, and I just turned 49. I’ll rest when I’m dead.
You guys are a complete inspiration to me. I have done mild exercise all my life , I always take the stairs, people always say I walk too fast, I got into a lazy state just before lock-down, that was in February March here in Europe.So I started a new regime I started doing Bur-pees , the first one nearly killed me.I mean I nearly threw up! I felt like an old man. I could not believe how unfit I had become. I started rowing regularly on a water rower doing HIT.5 minutes warm up followed by 3 x20 second HITs every other day. After 2 weeks I had progressed to 10 Bur-pees it was tough.I also started skipping that was even more hell. I was also Jogging and got it up to 8Km but then had pain from my IT band and had to stop that but kept up the rowing.Then a friend persuaded me to go swimming in the lake in November, she's been going for years.Air Temperature was around 12 Celsius and the water was probably around the same. I went regularly into December between 06:30 and 07:00 every morning the water temperature currently in December is around 8 Degrees and its about 2 degrees air-temp today.Listen the first time is a shock but after about the third time its easier. Its ALL in your mind. After the initial shock, which can take your breath away you just swim. I can stay in for about 4 or 5 minutes then I get out .Take a friend if you go alone take a swimmers Buoy with you to tow behind in case of cramp, my biggest fear.The strange thing is, its not cold when you get out you get a slight sensation like you you are burning, then another short swim and out again.Dry the hair, get a woolly hat on asap and then get dressed bring hot tea in the thermos.After you get your clothes on again and stand at the side of that lake watching a pair of swans lift off the water in the sunrise I can tell you I have never felt so alive in years. The effects were almost immediate , I almost stopped drinking coffee, I was wide awake all day, I could concentrate better, I had what seemed like boundless energy.Oh yeah and to the guys out there chuck your blue pills the cold puts lead in your pencil!!! If someone had said to me in January I'd be swimming in the lake in December I'd have said they were crazy.I even went with snow on the ground! I used to fear the cold after years of riding a motorcycle to work as a teenager with pain in my freezing hands. Check out Wim Hof the "Ice Man" that guy is onto something! Wish me Luck I am 64 in January 2021.

Only 65 hip so badly damaged the right hip now worn out too, final stage emphysema (oxygen 70% of day) thrashed my body way too much, but in 50s big wake up, veg juice keeps me going but Laird's been hero decades now & reckon JoB realises Laird knows care for the vessel is paramount. Just great! I will turn 72 January 5th, consistent serious lifter since 1969 along with a spattering of martial arts, (these things to combat bullying, It stopped.) I added meditation and yoga in my late sixties and recently hill sprints and still spend a few minutes every day on the heavy bag for kicks and punches. With regard to diet intermittent fasting has been amazing. I was never great at anything , however , I was convinced if I remained the last man standing and never quit I would move up the ranks as others gave up....looks like I was right!

Battling old injuries is my biggest issue. And avoiding new ones. A good diet helps heal but as they say old age does not come on its own. Keep on Battling!!
i'm almost 54, i'm very active, and my solution to injuries is to have a variety of exercise equipment/workouts on the go. a chin up bar and gymnastic rings (which can hang off them) means you have something to do if you get a foot or leg injury, yoga, running, weights, gym. there are very few injuries i can get now that i don't have a workaround for.
I wish I could find something by Laird (adore) on starting (after a long down period) over. I'd love it if Gabby did a vid or book on Starting Over at 50etc as well. Motivation is tough. Especially after a serious illness.

Going heavy on a diet change this year,stretching joints,basic exercises,etc.My knees are back without pain,rash on back of many years gone,itchy scalp gone,dropping lbs,etc. I still have stomach,anxiety and sleep issues but that's a work in process,so much still to learn.
