    Thanks for the awesome, HONEST video!
    I am 15,000 miles into my first Versa, a 2022 SR, and I absolutely love her!
    And just for some perspective, I am middle-aged and have owned cars with 300 horsepower and raced cars with 300 and 600 horsepower on the track.
    I think the Versa rides better, handles better and runs better than the majority of cars I have owned in my life. And despite what all the snobs say about Nissans not holding value, my car today is worth more than the lease buyout amount! I like it so much, I can't decide what to do- I may have to keep her. I had a Sentra SV before this and hated it. The direct inject fuel delivery was noisy and sounded like an exhaust leak. I prefer tuned port injection, that allows you to clean the valves and injectors with good fuel or some Gumout. Also, that car was a pig in the corners, in my opinion. My Versa handles fine and the factory equipped tires are excellent. I hate when manufacturers put junk tires on their cars (like Nissan did with that Sentra). Also, the Sentra had many electronic glitches, including remote start failures, collision warning malfunctions and "smart key" malfunctions. I couldn't wait to get rid of it. I have had ZERO problems with my Versa.
    I must agree with almost everything you have said about the vehicle. I think many of the UA-cam "car reviewers" are so worried about impressing people with their high-class tastes, they cannot be honest about an inexpensive car's qualities.
    Keep up the good work sir.

      Sounds like me describing my 22 Versa SV. I love it and got it in the orange color. I’m also middle aged. Last car was 240hp but the Versa is more fun. I’ve rented the Sentra a couple times and while it might ride a little better except for a strange vibration, I prefer the Versa. Everything about the Sentra seems cheap for its class and I can’t stand that it’s GDI. The Versa is practical and has time tested components that will be reliable (and hopefully the cvt will be too). Awesome gas mileage and cruises well at 80. Seats can get a little uncomfortable after an hour but that seems like all modern cars. I’m not sure how Nissan can get the Versa so right and the Sentra so wrong. Shame it is being discontinued but Americans love going into debt for big vehicles.

    Thanks for answering my question about the clutch. I have a 1998 Nissan Altima manual and has a high clutch grab point which i don't like. I prefer the clutch to be in the middle or closer to the floor.

    picking up the versa S CVT tomorrow, ive read alot about the transmission issues but i dont plan to be hard on it and will get the fluid changed every year or so, im excited. I love how simple it is compared to so many new cars, love that the engine is just right there, you dont have to dig for the plugs or anything its just simple

      @@youtoobe169 hey btw, I think I saw your post on a forum about the safety issue regarding this car; where the power gives out or something along the lines of that. would that be a potential dealbreaker in buying this car? Also what other issues have you noticed ?

  • @vultureguy33
    @vultureguy33 4 місяці тому +2

    Question, when you had the flat tire issue did you have to do anything to reset the TPMS? I just had a flat yesterday, the tire shopped patched it, afterwards the TPMS light came on and eventually turned off, but after a while it came back on. Not sure why, but may have to take it back to dealer to diagnose. The tires all seem to have the correct PSI btw.

    • @vultureguy33
      @vultureguy33 4 місяці тому +1

      Update, actually the "fixed" tire still had a slow leak. Getting it fixed again, but at least it seems like the tpms is working correctly. Honestly I was surprised it had this system at all in the base trim.

    My only objection is with the "S" class you cannot benefit from a 60/40 split back seatback with access to the trunk. I'd love to buy one with manual but no access to the trunk is a deal breaker.
