Thanks for the update! Bought a 2024 in January after watching some of your videos on it and am loving it! I drive in a lot of traffic for work as this is my daily and I've got no regrets. Keep up the great work!
@@Scythe_Voltage Just do the math. Take the MSRP and add the tax and the doc fee should be no more than $499. Sounds like you are not getting ripped off. The price of the car went up $1000 since I bought mine.
Just rolled 1300 miles on our and so far I have no complaints. We do a lot of highway driving with it and so far we are getting 39.5 mpg (hand calculated). The dash says 40.2. Sure beats my trucks 14 mpg and my wife’s suburban of 17 mpg. If anyone is on the fence about getting one, jump off and buy it!! The car is also surprisingly roomy, I’m 6ft 2in tall and I fit just fine. Awesome car for the money.
@@MrBoomboom24 no mine seems fine I haven’t had any issues seeing out of it. It always takes some getting used to since I normally drive my truck and am used to bigger mirrors but I don’t feel like anything is obstructed from My view
I forgot to mention. I got my 2024 Versa S manual a couple of days ago, 04/02/23. Two hours after it was dropped off at the dealer. During the test drive I stalled the car (not on purpose) and after that I was able to drive without any loss of power. I got to over 50 mph no problem. My car was manufactured on 03/24 , hopefully that problem is solved in vehicles leaving the factory.
I’m in Indiana My dealers want 19,400$ cash including taxes and fees so if I bring 19,400$ it’s mine I feel like it’s way overpriced and thought it would be around 18,500$ and I don’t wanna get ripped off but really want the car
I’m having the exact same trouble on a brand new Nissan Versa that I purchased approximately a week and a half ago. It drove home fine. The next day this occurred and I have had zero satisfaction from any of the dealerships, including the one who kept the car for approximately five days, supposedly trying to get it to reenact. Because they have not yet been able to reenact it at a Nissan dealership, they are stalling. Would you mind, please giving me the info as to where you were asking us to report? I paid cash for this vehicle only to have all of this going on. This is not OK. Thank you so much for all of your helpful information.
There are a lot of traffic lights in my area. How does the manual do in pretty dense city driving? I really would like to get one of these but I don't want to burn up the clutch.
No manual transmission is very fun under those conditions lol . But I can say that the Nissan manual is one of the best I've ever driven imo . The clutch is light , but not too light and the gear shift couldn't be any better designed I think they've perfected it .
If you are morbidly obease and love to eat , or your irresponsible and love being on your phone while driving then it will be a problem, if you are normal it’s not an anooyance at all
The power loss issue sounds like the Bean Counters at Nissan saying they were just going to cut some stuff to fit a price point and the Engineers either not being told or not able to make the change. On the other side of the coin, im not a automotive systems programmer but it just seems bad coding practice to write your code for a general system to only fit a specific hardware circumstance, ie your code isnt flexible.
Mine cost 17k plus tax and dmv total out the door is 19k . What do you think of the price . FYI I did file nhsta complaint regarding power loss . My car felt slow I couldn’t redline
I'm thinking about getting the Nissan Versa however, it would have to be automatic because I live in the city and there would be too much shifting. How long do you think the CVT will last? #RFMvids
Thanks for updating us on how you really like the stereo. Music is a big part of my driving enjoyment!

How much did u pay for it after taxes and fees? My dealers want 19,400$ and I feel like that’s way too much

Does the rear view mirror seem like it’s blocking too much? Idk if it’s because im around your height but I felt that way

How do you find out when the car was manufactured
@@protectork9831 On the driver door jamb ( on the car body not the door), the VIN plate will have the mfg date
Just bought a 2024 manual today! Right off the trailer. This are hard to find in the Chicago area.

It was with NHTSA and they are already conducting an investigation. Over 20 people filed complaints. I made a few videos about the issue with links.

I've had it in some traffic jams and it is one of the easier manuals to operate.

Makes sense
How long does it take till the power gets back to full capacity?
I think it's a couple stop start cycles, most likely pulling out the key and putting it back in
with the stick shift this should be a very long lifespan vehicle I would think.
I think so too
Does this problem also affect the 2024 model year Versa S manual?
Yes it does
Yes, mine for one. 😢

Good price. I think the more people that file with NHTSA, the faster we will all have a fix.
How much did ur dealership charge total? Was it 19k flat? My dealers want 19,400$ cash and I feel like it’s a bit too pricey?
@@Scythe_Voltage you might be able to negotiate few hundred dollars but if they only have one than just buy it
Could you tow a little 700 pound 4x6 cargo trailer with this car?
I don't think it's meant for any towing, but I'm not sure
Is there gonna be a recall for this problem?
I sure hope so!!!

Do the back seats fold down?
Very popular question! No, they do not.
@@youtoobe169 That is so odd. The back seats in my 2022 Versa S automatic do fold down.
@@dr.awkward9075 I should take another look to make sure next time I am with the car.
@@youtoobe169 I bet you're right. I don't even think the newer automatics have folding back seats (2023-'24).
Nissan forgot to put the temperature gauge 🤦♂️
Temp gauge is not common on cars in this price class
It will let you know with a symbol though
